PoliticsRe: It's High Time Pdp Refugees Left Apc by jorlons(m):
The impudence of the so called Legislators-elect of like mind is annoying putting it mildly. The choice of the press as a medium to denigrate the leadership of the APC is even more provoking. Like the Op has said, it is clear that the likes of Bukola saraki and his cronies are the set of politicians who cause commotion when they can't have their way.

He should be expelled immediately as I see him as an impending danger to the unity of the party.
PoliticsRe: Saraki Insults VP Osinbajo For Convening APC Peace Meeting by jorlons(m): 11:37pm On Jun 08, 2015
The earlier APC shows him the exit door the better the party will be for it. This guy has divisive antecedents and is most likely going to turn out as a traitor in the long run. His traits as a former PDP politician are beginning to re-surface.

The earlier the leadership of APC lets go of him the better. It's not a must for APC to control both houses. They should keep him at arms length henceforth.
PoliticsRe: Saraki To VP: "I Cannot Be Summoned By A 'Mere Commissioner" - SaharaReporters by jorlons(m): 11:29pm On Jun 08, 2015
Bukola saraki is just creating an unnecessary contention with his own party members. The earlier he decamps to PDP the better for him.

I'm so sure he'll create his own enemies that will bring him down politically
PoliticsRe: Saraki To VP: "I Cannot Be Summoned By A 'Mere Commissioner" - SaharaReporters by jorlons(m):
What impudence! Bukola saraki appears to be a politician with divisive tendencies.

I wonder how he plans to relate with his colleagues with this strain already in their relationship. He has to win tomorrow otherwise the disgrace will be unbearable.

I wish them all the best tomorrow.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Latest Photo - There He Stands... by jorlons(m): 10:25pm On Jun 08, 2015
The intent of this piece lays bare for the blind to see. It takes a skillful observer to see and grasp it.

Why your poetry is ok, your reasoning is indeed low, no offence.
PoliticsRe: PDP, Mark Back Saraki, Dogara For Senate President, Speaker by jorlons(m):
In as much as I don't support injustice, this open show of disgrace is very disappointing on the part of these APC lawmakers. It's clear by their actions they're only in APC to gain power and aren't the so called change agents they parade themselves to be.

This is indeed disgraceful to say the least. You can imagine the open show of shame they're bringing to the party and by extension, PMB.

Well my support has always been for PMB and not these sore losers. Lets see how it pans out tomorrow.
PoliticsRe: ''A Dwarf Cannot Rule Akure” – Youths Protest Against Deji-elect by jorlons(m):
All this traditional offices contribute to the drain in the state's resources, clutching down on any tangible development.

Deji-elect huh huh
PoliticsRe: APC Crisis: Governors Call Emergency Meeting As Osinbajo Meets Rep by jorlons(m):
They would never attend that meeting, that I'm sure of. As much as I pray that our amiable PMB, succeeds in his administration, I just can't stand this division amongst these so called politicians claiming to be "change agents."

Baba needs to be weary of them and they should be kept at arms length.

APC needs to avoid any form of injustice(if any) within its fold. This crack am afraid if not properly sealed, might just be the entering point for the cankerworms(PDP).
PoliticsRe: New Salaries For Buhari, Ministers, Govs, Others by jorlons(m):
I sincerely hope the final outcome of the review will make more funds available to Government for capital investment.

It will take donkey years for the police to wipe their name clean.

Yet another pointless thread littering the politics board. Perhaps we all should upload screenshots of our conversations with PDP agents on nairaland.

It's time to move on boy. You seriously need to stop posing as a patriotic Nigerian.
PoliticsRe: Oil Traders, NNPC Officials Interrogated, Watch-listed In Major Investigation by jorlons(m): 8:07am On Jun 08, 2015
dustydee:
Nothing recovered yet, I hope they refund any excess money owed the government.

Cc lalasticlala
Further findings by THISDAY showed that since the DSS swept into action in the last two weeks, it has sent the names of the traders and NNPC officials to all exits points from Nigeria to prevent them from travelling and in some instances directed that their travel passports be seized and indeed has started to make substantial progress as some $115 million USD may have been recovered from Talevaras and 2 shiploads of petroleum products from Aiteo - which Aiteo officials said were already on the way to Nigeria as part of their contractual obligations. Officials also say the DSS may have also secured confessions from Ontario for between $800 million and $1.2 billion USD which it hopes to recover in the next few weeks. No official of Ontario could be reached at press time.
From the emboldened, I think it's safe to say we're recovering our monies.

How its going to happen I don't know but Saraki will be Senate president and Gbaja will be the Speaker...

I don't bet but I can on this.
Exactly!
PoliticsRe: Vote For Gbajabiamila, Fani-kayode Urges PDP Lawmakers by jorlons(m):
How can FFK be saying one thing to punchng journalists and be saying something else on nairaland. You can just imagine. He even started by disguising himself with the question "where does FFK stand?" huh

Just take a look at his comment below mine and you'd agree with me that the guy is confused and is only trying to gain relevance by speaking from both sides of his mouth.
PoliticsRe: NASS Leadership Tussle: Dogara, Saraki Threaten APC by jorlons(m):
Like I said before, these two would have seen nothing wrong in the electoral process that pronounced Gbaja and Lawan as winners, had the result been favourable to them.

Amongst the two, Saraki seems to have a better chance at edging out Lawan if his alliance with the PDP senators elect is rock solid.

PoliticsRe: Of All Institutions In Nigeria Police Has Least Corrupt Officers – IGP - by jorlons(m): 5:45am On Jun 08, 2015
Technically, he is right. According to uncle Jona, since "stealing" is not "corruption", then surely "collection of 20 naira" cannot be "corruption" after all it's 'collect they collect' grin grin

We your supporters KNOW you will. TANdroids are the ones making noises.
PoliticsRe: N’assembly Posts: Saraki, Dogara Set To Defy APC. by jorlons(m):
Nonsense! All I see here is nothing but lust for power. Dogara and Saraki would certainly have agreed to the results had it been favourable to them.

For Speakership, it's safe to say Gbaja is winning. However, Lawan might find it difficult to emerge as the Senate President.

Lets wait to see the 65 SINators-elect of like minds.

PoliticsRe: Oil Traders, NNPC Officials Interrogated, Watch-listed In Major Investigation by jorlons(m):
I'm glad we are gradually recovering our monies. This administration is not fully settled, yet we're beginning to see changes.
NNPC and her subsidiaries have defrauded us through my shady deals/contracts with alien companies known only to them.

PMB is yet to fully settle and we can see sanitation process already taking place in the petroleum sector. I'm expecting more recoveries to be made in the coming months.

It's also great to see EFCC has re-awakened to its responsibility lately.

Lastly, what da phuck is Maryln Ogar still doing at DSS huh
PoliticsRe: Buhari Lacks Clear Cut Direction On How To Govern Nigeria – PDP by jorlons(m):
What Olisah Metuh and PDPians fail to realize is that, a 60% fulfillment of campaign promises, made in the area of most concern to Nigerians is all PMB/VP-PYO requires to qualify for a 2nd term.

It's funny a "said party" with clear cut directions on how to govern a complex country as Nigeria, almost brought her to a ground halt.

PDP is yet to realize the damage they did to this country, I sincerely hope that by 2023, it will become clear that they've been nothing but cankerworms.
RomanceRe: What Has Happened To Our Girls Leg? by jorlons(m): 8:33am On Jun 07, 2015
The angled feet is the most common amongst ladies, where both the right and left foot bend slightly towards each other while walking. It usually starts from the ankles and looks like this // \\ when they walk.

NB. You cannot observe it unless they start walking and it's not exclusive to girls alone but certainly common amongst them.
PoliticsRe: Former Petroleum Minister, Alison-Madueke, Undergoing Breast Cancer Treatment by jorlons(m): 6:58am On Jun 07, 2015
After reading the comments above, I must say I'm proud of Nigerians. The era of fooling us has passed.

Allison deziani is trying to play the sympathy card so that tomorrow somebody somewhere will say, Buhari jailed a woman suffering from cancer.

Na thunder mixed with lightning naim go fire that useless woman.

Shameless eddiots, trying to be relevant to nobody but themselves.

Olisa metuh seems to be doing well as an opposition unlike you lots who talk before thinking.

It's on record that Yaradua's asset declaration was made public a month after submission and you lots knew the truth but you all felt it would be fun to make unnecessary noise about a non-issue.

Well, we're expecting the noise you guys will make when the declared assets finally hits the public, pheww, you lots are so damn predictable for an opposition. Smh
