PoliticsRe: A Call For Preservation Of The Memories Of Today's Events by jorlons(m): 8:40pm On Jun 09, 2015
Very true, however, I believe they've a much craftier plan. If they couldn't succeed even after polarising Nigerians along ethnic and religious lines, why should they adopt the same strategy ?? I think we're in for some real dirty opposition.

A mature response if you ask me.
PoliticsRe: PDP Reacts To Saraki, Dogara Victory At The Elections by jorlons(m):
Nigerians need to be on the look out for what happens in the NASS henceforth. The emergence of the duo in both chambers chiefly orchestrated by the PDP, reaffirms my suspicions of the ongoing ploy by the PDP to use the NASS as a tool in playing their dirty opposition.

Ordinarily, it would appear democracy prevailed today but in actuality politricking just deepened in Nigeria.

Nigerians who think an active influence of the PDP in the leadership of the NASS will check the activities of the APC for the overall betterment of the lives of Nigerians are in for a shock.

Those thieves, cankerworms are only lurking in the dark, scheming and waiting for the right opportunity to grab power from the APC, using any means possible. If you're in doubt read-up the remarks of David Mark in the last PDP retreat held in PH.

I dare submit that they (PDP) would rather Nigeria as a country makes little or no progress at all under the APC, to give them a weapon for campaign in 2019.

I'm sorry to say, the healthy checks and balances we anticipate from a multi party system as obtainable in developed parts of the world, will be hindered by the greediness of these crop of politicians.

If anybody thinks the agenda of PDP, for the next four years is to check the ruling party, to ensure they deliver on their promises to Nigerians, then that person must be on a long thing cause their only agenda is to paint the APC government as incompetent for the next 48 months.

It is safe to say that the senate will be under the control of the PDP. I see Saraki decamping to the PDP and I pray he does so as soon as possible. We cannot have selfish traitors in our midst.

Very very disappointing one honestly.
No need to keep latching on to this rather sad turn-out of event. APC as a party goofed big time.

Ikweremadu won with 54 votes, PDP has 49 senators. There are traitors within the APC

With Sen Saraki as Senate President and Ekweremadu as Deputy Senate President, the PDP has become the defacto leader of the Senate. PDP shall bounce back in 2019... PdP Shall Lead Again
Don't get your hopes up, lets wait to here the result for the deputy.

I'm deeply disappointed in the way the APC has handled this issue. This is will send the wrong signal to Nigerians.

Ma'am, are you sure of this ??
PoliticsRe: Why APC Postponed NASS Inauguration - Vanguard by jorlons(m): 9:55am On Jun 09, 2015
This act of rebellion on the part of these so called lawmakers-elect to the leadership of the APC is indeed very annoying.

They forget so quickly that they probably wouldn't have emerged as senators or members of the HOR were it not for the platform (APC) in which they ran.

Such anti-party activities must of necessity be treated seriously. They have started on the wrong footing and I fear the PDP will be lurking in the corner to cash-in on this.
PoliticsRe: Inauguration of 8th National Assembly postponed - Vanguard by jorlons(m): 9:45am On Jun 09, 2015
Well this if true is shameful to say the least, this is not the change we bargained for. I'm not caught out for this kindda change.

I wrote it yesterday, I know he will deny ever saying that when he realizes his folly.
He made the denial in the early hours of today when the statement became viral on social media yesterday. He is just trying to do a quick damage control.

Well this thread is eye opening. I never imagined such amount is disbursed at the state level. Maybe some of us need to start copying your style and begin to carry our own research.

Never thought I'd say this but thanks man.

I will even prefer a David Mark to Saraki now.
Saraki has shown too much desperation which is a dangerous sign for our politics.
Right now all I care is for the divisive elements to be shown the exit door. I'm so sure he will boycott this meeting as well.

It's time for the party to do some inner cleansing.
PoliticsRe: Senator Bukola Saraki Denies Boycotting APC Leadership Meeting by jorlons(m): 1:04am On Jun 09, 2015
@Op, again tell Bukola Saraki that his last minute attempt on damage control is dead on arrival. We believe he said those trash and there's nothing he will do or say that will make us believe otherwise.
PoliticsRe: Senator Bukola Saraki Refutes Plans To Dump APC by jorlons(m): 12:57am On Jun 09, 2015
@Theheadlinerngr, please do well to report to Bukola saraki, that we don't give a fvck whether or not he decides to jump ship. We believe he said all that trash about the vice president and that he will be responded to at the appropriate time.

He's a traitor waiting to cash-in on any juicy offer and we pray the offer comes soonest so,we can rid the party of one less politician. Tell him to shove his denial down his azz
PoliticsRe: Exposed: N2bn Bribery Allegation Trails APC Speakership Primaries by jorlons(m): 12:34am On Jun 09, 2015
You give your enemy a weapon, be rest assured he will attack you. I'm not surprised PDP is cooking different propaganda to further denigrate the leadership of the APC.

But you wouldn't blame them, would you?? If the HOR members-elect hadn't acted like "spoilt kids", PDP wouldn't have had the opportunity to cook up propagandas.
PoliticsRe: Senate Presidency: Saraki-led APC Lawmakers Endorse David Mark by jorlons(m): 12:29am On Jun 09, 2015
I particularly want the seat lost to the PDP and Bukola saraki expelled from the APC. Although he contributed to the win of the party at the presidential level, he was never among the heavyweights who paid the price to see to the clenching of victory by the party.

He should and of necessity be expelled now, especially as he is yet to do a greater harm to the party.
PoliticsRe: Saraki-led APC Lawmakers Endorse David Mark For 3rd Term by jorlons(m): 12:20am On Jun 09, 2015
If this information is any thing to go by then the traitor should be shown the exit door Asap.

Granted, the APC needed to win the presidential election, maybe they shouldn't have allowed sycophants into their midst.
