egobetatoday:
from what i understand from your post the fact that Aisha buharis watch wasnt listed then a 10million naira wristwatch is chicken change?

hehehehe...plenty people dey for this world.
Maybe you missed the part where the write-up said the one she wore is not valued at £34500 but rather at $129.

Now if hers is valued at $129, it therefore means that she has need vindicated from the rumours that she wore a 10million naira watch. So maybe you should re-read the write-up to get a better understanding.

PoliticsRe: Buhari Reopens $182m Bribery Case-tribune by jorlons(m):
That's a good move and I pray more closed corrupt cases would be reopened. If people are Lynched to death (not that it's good, it's barbaric to say the least), I don't see any reason why corruption cases running into billions of dollars should be pardonable.

Baba thank you for reopening this Halliburton case. Please take a look also at our missing $20 billion.

I pray for God's strength on you and your vice. Amen.

PoliticsRe: Enemies Of Nigeria Also Known As The CABAL (A Profile)- Sahara Reporters 2010 by jorlons(m):
Please O I have read the list over and over again and no doubt these guys are corrupt criminals holding the country to ransom, I however beg to disagree with N0 1 and I can't seem to find the following names or is the op going to update the thread cause names like:

Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan( ex-president PDP)

Described as a corrupt ex-president, probably the worst Nigeria will ever have some say. Turned a blind eye to the many corrupt practices that took place in the petroleum sector while he served as president. It is alleged that GEJ as fondly called by Nigerians, may have been involved in corrupt practices in the oil sector using ex-militants and the petroleum minister as cover ups. It is on record that Nigeria came to a standstill in the last days of his administration which many analysts have described as grossly incompetent.

Deziani Allison Madueke (ex-minister)

served as petroleum minister and handed the petroleum sector to the cabals. It is on record that during her time as minister of petroleum, she refused to yield to calls from the house of assemblies for clarifications on the happenings on the sector. It's also on record that her activities were never checked by the then president Goodluck Jonathan. This raised alot of questions as to why he didn't keep her in check. Many hope to get answers in the coming months as the new administration has vowed to clean the sector.

Ngozi Okonjo Iweala (ex-CME, ex-MF)

Although she's believed to have had outstanding accomplishments in her career at world bank, the same cannot be said about her during her time as CME and FM. It is on record that the naira was devalued several times under her watch and also the naira prostrated before the dollar. NOI, as she's fondly referred to by Nigerians is believed to have contributed immensely to the continued existence of the cabals in the petroleum sector. While she has risen to defend herself on many occasions, many look to this administration to do the needful and take a cursory look at her policies to either vindicate or indict her. But for many, it will take alot for NOI to gain back her already tainted reputation in their eyes.

It takes humility to live a simple life even as a billionaire. Unfortunately, we have very few (if any), humble billionaires alive today.
FashionRe: 10 Most Expensive Wrist Watches Nigerians May Have by jorlons(m):
Thank God our FIRST LADY Aisha BUhari has been vindicated finally. I new this day would come, when all TANoids will bow their heads in shame. Hope you all can see yaselves now.

Aisha Buhari is an elegant woman who doesn't need to wear a 10million naira wrist watch to look classy or sophisticated. I implore all TANdroids to drop their hate for PMB, so you don't end up drowning in shame everytime the truth comes out cause the truth will always come out.

God bless PMB and his family.

I get the point, but it only applies when the service far outweighs the mistakes unlike the past leaders we've had whose mistakes have been more than their service. Our leaders lack passioné for Nigeria that's why we criticize them.

I think it's safe to say Nigeria is sitting on a time bomb. With the constant threats we are getting from these narcissistic folks, I don't think it would be wise to leave them amongst us. Maybe it's time a referendum is conducted for them to get the fvck out of the union.

I'm beginning to dislike the tribe and why do I have this feeling they are all the same ??
PoliticsRe: Why We Need To Stop Postgraduate Studies Outside Nigeria (AMB Q) by jorlons(m):
The reason why Nigerians will keep porting out of Nigeria to study abroad is not just to gain quality education but also to secure a good source of livelihood. Most Nigerians don't return after their PG or UG studies, so it is beyond getting quality education.

They (BH) can't possibly be coming from sambisa to carry out these attacks. Also I'm beginning to wonder how they carryout these stealth attacks so easily without being spotted on time. They must be launching their attacks from within Maiduguri. What our military needs now is an effective means of gathering Intel. They should give it a higher priority if they will ever succeed in this battle.

RIP to the fallen soldiers.

PoliticsRe: Meet The Only Two Nigeria Leaders That Publicly Declared Their Assets by jorlons(m): 5:13pm On Jun 04, 2015
barcanista:
"will"? But their spokesman has already closed the chapter... See What Buhari said via his Spokesman

"By declaring their assets, the statement said that President Buhari and Vice President Osinbajo may have not only fulfilled the requirements of the Nigerian Constitution, but also fulfilled the first of their many campaign promises."- Alhaji Shehu Garba, Spokesman for Buhari
The chapter isn't closed and it's too early to demand that they publish it on the papers. CCB verifies the claims made on the form, it says so on their website. Also, Yaradua could have published his assets declaration form on the dailies same time he submitted to CCB but that's not what happened or is it??

PMB made a promise and we will demand it be fulfilled in due time whether Garba made a statement or not but for now it is rather too early to be suspicious.

Foolish resolution.
The Sudan case occurred as a result of frequently occurring civil wars.

The UN charter on self determination requires 60% vote in favour of the breakaway and voilà you have a country.

Now thinking of going through violence is what may be their mistake if they're not careful.

War is not fought by how wide your chest is, rather it is fought through the barrel of the gun. Whichever they choose is up to them.
