Delta007:I dey oh, school is keeping me occupied. Good to hear all is well, keep up the good work! |
Delta, how far? Just saying Hi, how is business going for you bro. Just wondering have you ever sent anything/s using British Airways? |
O Nigeria, where art thou peace? |
Hey Osisi where did you get the picture of Jonah Jang? "My felu Seeteezins off Flahfow Staate" Haha that guy's grammar kills me But real talks is Yar'Adua well? It looks like he also has some type of skin disease ![]() |
strangleyo:Hmmm this sounds like a conundrum to me, can someone please try and solve it, |
So I am deducing that the excuse you people are giving is Hunger? Good one |
JJYOU:You are missing the point of this thread completely. |
Can we please separate religion from the state? And render religious leaders powerless? Religion is the greatest thing that happened to the world, but use Nigerians have taken and to the extreme levels as usual. |
Weytin go happen to my alarm clock ![]() |
The marriage of Religion and State should be divorced in Nigeria. I hate hearing about subsidized pilgrimage to Mecca and Jerusalem. Nigeria needs to separate Religion from State. |
His wifes name is Eileen? I don't know any Nigerian women name Eileen, am I to assume she is oyinbo? Maybe his wife put him up to it. ![]() But on a serious note why are we concerned with what the man does with his fortune. If he takes the money and burns it that is between him and his Allah. One poster mentioned that he has been giving out scholarships to individuals to me that is enough philanthropy for Nigerians everywhere to be grateful off. But then again are Nigerians grateful for anything ![]() |
udezue:See your life? You can not be Nigerian one minute and then want to claim another. You and your cohorts are crying separate Nigeria, yet you want to partake in voting, the Irony. |
@ eldee Have you seen how rude the embassies' staff are? They are very very rude to the point that one day I called to ask why the renewal of my passport was taking longer than usual i.e. three and half weeks (and counting) instead of the normal two days but the response was; "you're very stupid for questioning our actions, how dare you speak to me like that? How old are you sef?". The lady eventually hung up on me and I kept calling and whenever she realses it was me, she hung up. I eventually had to use some personal contacts to help me sort it out. As a result of that, I missed a couple of job interviews and some other important appointment with my bank. Overall, what I'm getting at is that even our embassy is not as organised to handle the Nigerians abroad and I bet the embassy staff might even bully people into voting for their candidate if this proposal gets the go-ahead. I just cannot put it past them. You could leave corruption in the shores of Nigeria but you can never take out the corruption ingrained in the thread and veins of Nigerian politicians.
I wish Nigerians could drop their egotistical ways for a minute sometimes. I remember getting my passport renewal and the nonsense/insults I had to endure before finally getting it. |
I believe that the Niger-Delta people should have a large/direct representation at the bargaining table. The federal government has proven to be an inept custodian when dealing with the chaos in the region. That withstanding I also believe that ANYONE living in the region should have a voice as long as they are Nigerian. The problem with Nigeria is that we feel that indigine means something, it should be those that own the lands that should be invovled in the negotiations because they stand the most to lose. |
You people do know that Abuja is not a native Hausa land? Minsters on the list who were not from Core-North, and would not consider themselves Hausa John Jatau Kadiya Jeremiah Timbut Useni Adeogun And Abuja has been capital for roughly 20 yrs as opposed to 35 yrs that Lagos was |
I voted no, it just sounds like another avenue for "proxy" corrupt voting. I think what Nigeria needs to do is improve its current voting system and get rid of the rigging before they should fathom such an idea. |
Kobojunkie:Mine is 6 hrs away, I would not travel that distance. I never understood why Nigeria does not have a consulate in Toronto, but the Ghanians do ![]() |
There is power in numbers and until Nigeria looks past its ethno-religious lines we will continue to remain as is Continue to blame the North while they continue dominating Nigeria due to their united front For a matter of fact it is not just Northern leaders who are corrupt, but all Nigerian leaders. Stop insinuating that Nigeria would be any better if it had been ruled by the South for all these decades. I will trust a Hausa man/Northerner more than any other group in Nigeria! |
That road from Jos-Akwanga is in fine shape. I hope it is not that road, but i have a feeling it is indeed that one. It does tend to bend like a snake so it is very dangerous if one is driving at extreme speeds. (moving from mountains of plateau down to lower earth) Due to the road being one lane in each direction care must be taken when over-taking other slower vehicles. I have seen a lot of wreckage on my way to and fro abuja due to reckless driving, this time we can not blame it on the roads. That road is in fine shape with no potholes and such. The fact that it twists and turns should alight drivers to be more cautious. Only problem is that here in Nigeria we do not know what caution is It's like what do we blame crashes in airplanes on, bad air?God rest their souls |
tpia:How does he start his own language? It's not an easy task, especially when culture is ingrained. |
I am happy to hear this, maybe the other parts of Nigeria can follow suit |
Africans and Nigerians need to realize that children are not an asset anymore. They are expensive in this day and age. You have grandmothers raising children in Africa. Never thought it would happen. |
debosky:Alwaus thought keke was Hausa for bicycle, anyways its all the same |
I want to see videos of people transforming into animals. Why isn't it ever caught on tape, ummm maybe because it is a figment of peoples imaginations just maybe |
@Poster The morons like B. O. S. S. will not praise the pilot because it happened in Nigeria - dont you know? To them, Nigeria is a don for entity - they never see anything good in Nigeria- have you forgotten?
But losing you engine should not happen in mid air co ya ne?The root problem is that we in Nigeria do not have any regards for safety, I guess its our own form of population control. What is the life expectancy back home anyways? |
bawomolo:I think we are already there. Any country that allows Sharia law cannot and should not be considered secular. |
