TheGoodJoe: Please do not call them. Let us wait and see. I do not want to judge quickly. It is not looking good. Rony Lopes who we loaned out might have been a better choice.
If Sterling and Bony continue like this, I think Pellegrini should replace him with Navas, then Nasri and then Barker. But Sterling scored a hattrick not too long ago. It's Bony that is worrying. He has a huge salary. |

Thesame way you decide to buy and sell a stock is also thesame way one will decide to register and deactivate an account on a faceless forum! I tired of seeing repeated post of begging or even members asking people to check on him. joseph1013: I will be very surprised if by now, everyone in this house does not know that Oando's results is very bad. Those that are still tarrying in the stock have only convinced themselves that hope is a strategy. I really feel bad that people have lost money in Oando. But enough warnings were given. I still remember sounding this out as late as 16th October.
On a humane note, I hope anyone who is close to myjoy checks up on him. He's not the emotional type usually as I've known him to take insults and rebukes in their strides and even make out of them jokes. For him to have gone to the point of deactivating his account shows something is not right.

An Atheist Mother’s Promise: A letter to my sons
Every day, your dad and I are humbled by the responsibility of parenthood. Not only by the needs of feeding you and making sure you don’t bump your head on the corner of the coffee table. (I’ll admit, we’ve failed at that a few times.) But we’re also humbled by the role of raising you to be free-thinking, conscious and deliberate individuals in a society that’s on religious autopilot.
Faithful people often ask your dad and I how we’ll raise you without religion as our guides. They seem to think that we’re rudderless, listing with life’s current and without purpose. They ask how we’ll teach you to be moral without lessons from God. But we have a plan. We’re atheists by a lot of thinking, reasoning and choosing and we will be your parents with as much deliberateness and thought.
Hereafter is my commitment to you.
I promise that by example I will teach you kindness, justice, cooperation, respect and tolerance. Because morality is part of what it means to be a responsible member of society and the world.
I promise to help you see other people’s perspectives, consider their experiences and be tolerant of their differences. I’ll encourage you to see beyond the labels of good and evil to understand the complexity of human existence.
I promise that as you grow and as I get to know you, I’ll accept you for who you are rather than any preconceived notion of who you “should” be.
I promise to teach you that you’re an agent of change in your own life and in this world. You aren’t a victim of circumstance and you don’t need to wait for unseen forces to bring you miracles. You’re your own creator — of fulfillment, joy, love and peace.
Alongside science, history, philosophy and the arts, I promise to teach you about all religions and give you the intellectual freedom to wonder, question and come to your own conclusions. And if your conclusions are different from my own, as many inevitably will be, I promise to respect them.
I promise to tell you the truth as much as I know it. And encourage a lifetime of curiosity, questioning and exploration in pursuit of more knowledge and your own truth.
I promise to show you that this moment right here is all the heaven we need. This life is our gift and our purpose. It’s our opportunity to live richly and to make lasting and meaningful change for society and humanity.
And in guiding you through life, I promise to talk to you about death — as much as I understand it — without euphemisms or fables, but as a natural part of this complex and enduring world. And I’ll talk to you about how brief a time we have in a world that existed before us and that will exist far after we depart.
I promise to love you fiercely, honestly and courageously.

Of course not. Granada is a crappy team. Success should have a had at least four assists today if they had a decent striker. He ought to have scored at least one more himself.
At the end of the day, game ends 3-3. |

Let me give you some tips: To make your articles readable, try to space the paragraphs. White lines help readability. Also, stop breaking your articles. There is no need for Part II. Put the entire article in a single Post. And please, I have noticed that articles are now being underlined. There is no need for that.
Thanks.

Icon4s: Well, I dnt know how well u follow youth football but I hope u are nt comparing how dey played with d way the likes of Arsenal, Manu, Mancity etc play.
We know they may nt b as smashing as d last set but how can u say even though they won 2-0 in their first game they will still crash out at the grp stage. U think Chile and Croatia are being represented by their senior national team?
A person like u would have also written off d last eaglets within d 1st 20mins of that grp game against Sweden after they went 2 goals down.
I can confidently tell u dat this Eaglets team is good enough to challenge for the title. Those dat know me in this sports section know dat I am mostly conservative when it comes to my expectations from our national teams bt there are certain age grade levels that we mostly get it right and this is one of them. We have played in 7finals out of our 10 participations. No other country has dat 70% record.
NB: I never saw the 2015 Super Flying Eagles that won d CAF U20 as favourites bt I can tell u dat this our Golden Eaglets dat finished 4th in CAF U17 are "among" the favourites.
cc: safarigirl, TheSuperNerd, TheGoodjoe, joseph1013, terzurum5 I watch this team cautiously. |

TheSuperNerd: Narcissistic? Oh my, this is serious **smiles**
Honestly Sir, u'll be "really surprised" (x10) how super wrong u are. U don't "KNOW" me...... *this is funny*
Hahahahahahahahaha........................
And if u do know me, u'll observe that I don't use the "F***" word which "YOU" used.
I don't engage in E-fights which u thought u could get me into.
And I don't call people "names"..... And guess what? I will never fall to such temptations because "I KNOW WHAT AND WHO I AM" *Big Smiles*
Sir, It's true I'm young... I'm 23+ yrs old **smiles**
But I'm "much more" than u "can ever think" I am..... On a positive scale....... *smiles*
So since I'm young.......... and have a bad attitude according to you.... And you're obviously the matured one and "HONESTLY" I believe you are matured... *winks*
Why don't you show it by admitting your manner of approach was wrong for an "elder"........
And u used the "F***" word?? Come on Sir **sobbing**
That's not fair!
Note: I'm not hear for Entertainment Sir...... I do my best (and the others here can testify to that) to be civil and respectful...... Remember the Golden rule of the Bible? (If u're a Christian).
So Sir.... Thanks but I'll keep being "ME" and keep getting better in Christ........ and I'm no comedian.
I've been called many names on NL.... From lawyer to journalist and more....... Now it's comedian.... U know why? Because like the Apostle Paul, I try to be "all things" to all men..... For peace's sake. *smiles*
So that's it Sir...... *no hard feelings I hope*
**smiles**

Rilwayne001: Calm down Fake atheist. My response was to that particular post/illustration by Joseph. Now re-read it. Let's try this, shall we:
A CURIOUS STORY OF YAHAYA
SCENE 1: Yahaya of Akitiki, a predominantly Islamic settlement, believes in Allah and he is correct to do so. He believes in the true god.
Matthew believes in Yahweh but he is wrong, even though he thinks he’s right. He lives a good life so much so that he spends his evenings going to the slums of Akitiki to cut hair for the homeless free of charge. However, while he does so he occasionally tells them to believe in Yahweh.
SCENE 2: Yahaya sees Matthew's effort as a way of turning the people's heart against Allah and instantly remembers this verse of the Quran:
"And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief or unrest] is worse than killing..." Quran 2:191
He recruits other youths in the Settlement and they seek out Matthew and lynch him to death.
Yahaya is happy with himself since he has obeyed Allah. He knows that the Quran contains at least 109 verses that call Muslims to war with nonbelievers for the sake of Islamic rule.
SCENE 3 Matthew is in Hell fire for believing in the wrong god all his life. He died needlessly.
Yahaya is in heaven enjoying 99 virgins.
The End.
You see how ridiculous Rilwayne001 is for even attempting to mock Christianity? |

Jaypea98: *Smiles* Thanks for the components. I m not a journalist ; I d rather be addressed as an NPFL fanboy. I remember quoting you days back asking if there was a CHAN thread,th Enyeama vs Oliseh fracas made me not to bother visiting this thread because the argument went on and on. I stuck up with the u23 thread instead... I just love our home based lads. And I know we have enough talent here Players like MBA Uzuenyi and Obuabona rather than make their way to our top four teams and improve our chances of winning CAF xompetitions chose to move to obscure leagues in Europe and look at what they are today. Peter Ebimobowei is now shuttling between clubs in Egypt after been dumped by al ahly someone that was amongst our top scorers last season. Emem Uduok has been neither here nor there for Esperance Same would have happened to RabiuAli of kano Pillars had he not returned from his sojourn to Asia. Our League just Needs Sponsors and I hope LMC continues to thejr good works ... State governments should properly fund clubs ,appoint proper professionals rather than politicians as Club Chairman .or simply sell these clubs to private investors. It's a pity that foreign based bench warmers get the nod ahead of home based pros who feature regularly for their club sides... Players Usman Mohammed deserves a place in that super eagles squad,he showed his class against Niger ,He doesn't necessarily have to be a starter ,let him fight for his place in the team .
Okay take a look at SHehu Abdulahi mfd who played in our last friendly against Cameroon Last year SHehu was in the kano Pillars squad that won the league. This guy wasn't half as good as his his counterpart in the team Rabiu Ali and it was proven in the 2013 CHAN tournament when RAbiu put up an exceptional display . Today the lesser talent SHehu Abdulahi now plays in an unknown club in Portugal and makes the SEagles call ups while RAbiu ALi who is by my count the highest scoring MFD in the league cannot make the team. What message has this passed to the players in the league other than do well go here and move abroad before hoping for an SEagles call up. Steven keshi showed us that it could work when he started in 2013 and gave both sets of players equal opportunities in the team ,as time went on some of these players moved abroad and he never bothered to make fresh recruits tr r po m the league . Players like Reuben Gabriel moved to Kilmarnock Oboabona who already had three freekick goals for Sunshine and 1 in a Nations cup qualifier against Rwanda or so moved to Bursaspor MBA Sunday MBa moved to one third division french side.. Ejike Uzuenyj move to Momolodu Sondows (you go fear name naa ....lol) Of recent the likes of DAniel Apeyi, Emem uduok etc..... The question remains, apart from financial improvement which is the main catalyst for the exodus of our players to obscure leagues in what other aspects have they improved since leaving the shores of this country.
Hey bro, I actually thought I replied you. Went back now and realized i didn't eventually submit it then. Too many Mentions to respond to. Anyways, there is no CHAN thread since it's just a sub-category of the Senior National team. Infact, they are still referred to as the Super Eagles. So I felt there's no need for it.
Good stuff about the write up on the league players and the management. You know, when I took a glance at the table few days back, I was taken aback by the number of away wins and draws. It was unusual in this part of the world to see so many away wins. Shows we are doing something right.
When Oliseh was recruited, the mandate was not just the senior national team, he was mandate to look at the league and fashion out a way to bring the league top players into the Eagles' fold. That was why he asked for Salisu. Good choice in my opinion.
I'm really hopeful that the glory days are back. Looking forward to the game against Burkina.
Thanks for the expose, once again. |

A CURIOUS STORY OF JOHN
SCENE 1: John believes in Yahweh and he is correct to do so. He believes in the true god.
Aisha believes in Allah but she is wrong, even though she thinks she’s right. She lives a good life and tries not to hurt her fellow humans.
SCENE 2: John is walking on a lonely path and sees Aisha. He rapes her and kills her.
2 months later, John is feeling bad about his actions. He goes down on his knees and prays to Jesus and Yahweh to forgive him of his sins.
Yahweh forgives him.
SCENE 3 Aisha is in Hell fire for believing in the wrong god all her life.

Jaypea98: Look here BascoVanVeli your knowledge of the NPFL isn't encouraging, to say tge least.... Did you just say Gbolahun isn't the best player in Warri Wolves? GbolahunSalami has been the most consistent NPFL player for the past two years and his consistency has also shown in his SEagles performances. Gbolahun salami has got 15 goals already this season. Gbolahun has four solid goals this month alone and today being October 14th one could comfortably say this mont has just begun..... He has just shot his team into contention for the league title .. Meanwhile Aggreh's Sunshine are battling for a Continental spot ...NOTE! they aren't title contenders . And you say Aggreh is the best in the league ? Aggreh cannot even boast of being the in his club Sunshine Stars .Forget the media hype TUNDE ADENIJI has been more influential to the team's success followed by Paul ONOBI. You claimto have good knowledge of the NPFL yet I ve never seen a post made in your name on the NPFL thread. Stop the deceit n just stick to your foreign leagues instead of making wrong assertions .

TheSuperNerd: Anyway, Sir Joseph, I just wanna point out a few things that you may like to correct such as:
-Ighalo is of Nigerian origin and has scored more than Martins.... Ighalo has scored 21 goals so far in 2015 alone.
-Osaze Odemwingie features for Stoke and not WestBrom. And he made his return to action before the international break.
Note: I understand that sometimes we make mistakes when stating our arguments and may innocently forget or overlook some things. I guess you may have been tired/fatigued when typing these coz "I know" you know "these". Just wanted to point it out before the one you "discuss with" picks on it..........
Just being a "big brother's" keeper. **winks**......... I'm the "keeper" and you're the "big brother"........
**back to the backseat** How could I have missed that especially Osaze's club? LOL
Thanks. |
