Mylove55: you don't have sense like thief obaseki,
thief obaseki said he graduated in 1976 and 1979, how can you reconcile that?
I am waiting for supreme court to tell us how they were able to reconcile the two certificate. will you shut that nonsense gob of yours up!. You're talking about when he graduated when the thread is talking about him having two different certificates. The forensic expert mention two different certificates made available to INEC, one in 2016 and the other in 2020 and you're here talking about 1970 whatever. It seem comprehension is as far from you like common sense. Now get lost and stay lost. |
Politics › Re: Obaseki Presented Two University Of Ibadan Certificates - Forensic Expert by joseph1832(m): 8:59am On Jan 19, 2021 |
okay the forensic expert said Obaseki submitted different certificates. I wonder why Obaseki' lawyer (s) didn't grill him and ask him how he came about this. Surely this should be something he can prove in court. Like he should have told the court the difference(s) between the two certificates. He can also compare the two certificates with that of other UI certificates and tell the court how the certificates differ. |

armadeo: Men see cruise..
I would have loved to see how it ended. Lagos is rough man.. dog eat lion world.
Every man for himself jah for us all. Lol.
Meanwhile person when dey separate fight hand cigar for mouth. Lagos is this way because Lagosians and Nigerians by large are very difficult people. They find it very hard to listen, talkless of obeying simple rules. The man on suit is an idiot. He's Lucky he was on the island. I guarantee if he was on the mainland and probably going to somewhere around Oshodi, he would have received the beating of his life. How hard can it be. You enter a vehicle that's not yours, because it's a public vehicle, you still do whatever you like. Its the same even in bars. People will clearly see the "no smoking sign" yet they will still light their cigarette. This is grossly annoying. Honestly the guy truly deserve a very befitting dirty back hand slap. See the way the guy dey lie sef, later him go still go church and lie another lie. |

Bros. Pardon me. Did Raji Rasaki governed Benue state? There's a street named after him there. Very close to Enugu Round about in Otukpo town. |

Politics › Re: Sanwo-Olu: Lagos To Give Ndubuisi Kanu A Befitting Burial by joseph1832(m): 8:39pm On Jan 15, 2021 |
naptu2: Colonel Olagunsoye Oyinlola is the worst governor of Lagos that I've ever seen in my life and so Governor Marwa was like a breath of fresh air.
Lagos roads became absolutely terrible during Oyinlola's tenure, but every time people asked him about the roads his answer was always, "There is no bitumen", so I called him "Mr No Bitumen".
Marwa came and ensured that the Lagos Works Agency patched all the roads that had been destroyed during Oyinlola's tenure. It wasn't perfect, but it was far better than what Oyinlola left.
His public relations was topnotch. There was a time that there was a rumour that there was "killer beans" in Lagos. Governor Marwa drove to a roadside Akara seller, bought akara and ate it in the full view of everybody.
He called into the popular Ray Power programme Mini Jojo and gisted with the presenters (even though he didn't understand Yoruba).
Lagos had been gripped by terrible armed robbers since 1990. The robbers got automatic weapons from the wars in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea and swept into Lagos from Benin Republic and held the city to ransome. Marwa established Operation Sweep to tackle the problem.
He started the Eko FM station and was very popular. His wife, Munirat Marwa, was also very popular. Marwa is what we call "street" like he was very street. He has street credibility according to 9ice. I remember something about bread. Where he open a loaf of bread at a media briefing and distributed it according to the people represented here. He ate his own share of the bread publicly. He wasn't even ashamed or anything of the sort. Your post about him eating Akara in public made me remember this. All in all who will you say is the best to have governed Lagos state? In my opinion I give it to Fashola. |
Politics › Re: Sanwo-Olu: Lagos To Give Ndubuisi Kanu A Befitting Burial by joseph1832(m): 8:09pm On Jan 15, 2021 |
naptu2: It looks like people are surprised that Lagos had a governor that was not an indigene.
There was a time that military governors were usually indigenes of the state that they governed, but some people accused them of being partial and so it was decided that neutral people should be appointed. Therefore, subsequent military governors were usually not indigenes of the state that they governed. It was also believed that this would help to create a more cohesive country.
So, for example, Navy Captain Adekunle Lawal was governor of Imo State from 1977-1978 and Brigadier Sunday Ajibade Adenihun was governor of Imo State from 1978 - 1979. Bros. There's this governor or military admistrator I remember who governed Lagos state: Buba Marwa. If I can remember correctly he performed just as good as Lateef Jakande. Can't really remember his rant in the army. |
