I've always said it, that sentiment is the bane of this country, I mean, for _fuck sake, this woman committed a crime, she got served! Why all the brouhaha about it? What's so special about her? What's even so different between her and many others who actually committed the same crime and are serving their jail sentence?

If the Nigerian state wants to start showing blatant favorism, then I'll say it will be, beginning of the end and Nigeria will be gradually moving towards getting what's coming to her.

ANALYSIS OF THE POEM.

PLOT OF THE POEM: The poem begins with "my heart, resides in your heart" where the heart is used as a symbol to represent love and care.

The poem generally involves an individual telling his beloved that she is the centre of his universe, that she should not wreck that universe but hold and tender to it with rapt care, joy and attention.

STRUCTURE OF THE POEM: The poem is a Triolet poem. The form consist of only 8 lines, where the 1st, 2nd 4th, 7th and 8th lines are repeated in the poem.

The poem also has a rhyme scheme of ABaAabAB. This particular Triolet poem consist of 8 syllables in each line, written in iambic tetrameter.

POETIC DEVICE(S)

Repetition: This device is used in lines 1, 2, 4, 7 and 8 in the poem.

Anaphora: This device is used in lines 1, 2, 4, 7 and 8. "My heart" and "Please".

Epiphora: This device is used in lines 1, 4 and 7 and lines 2 and 8. "Hand" and "Care".

End-Stopped Line: This is used throughout the poem as every end line ends with a punctuation mark.
