Anyway, it might please you guys to know that sometimes, security agencies are charged with working or doing duties not stipulated in the constitution. Even in the U.S, the C.I.A is expressly forbidden to carry out domestic intelligence, thus spy on Americans, but rumor has it that they do. Even then there was talk of getting the C.I.A to combat domestic drug traffickers. So bros, any security agency might be task with doing what its not suppose to do, it depends on the situation. |

Politics › Re: Buhari's Economic Agenda Is Archaic, Says PDP by joseph1832(m): 9:38pm On Aug 02, 2015*. Modified: 8:00am On Aug 03, 2015 |
PassingShot: Wonders shall never end. How can a party that failed woefully at managing our economy in the sixteen years it ruled want to advise APC on how to clear the mess they created?
PDP - the party that brought pains, sorrows and sufferings on Nigerians for sixteen years with their brand of paddy paddy economy is talking of archaic and outdated policies! Wow! This party is a useless party in every sense of the word "useless".
How is trade and import restrictions archaic and outdated when many developed and developing nations still engage in it to protect their economy?
How is restriction on domiciliary accounts a bad thing in attempting to stabilize the local currency?
Metuh/PDP are not to be taken serious for a second. They have lost it completely. In the words of Fela, "Dem bring sorrow tears and blood, dem regular trade mark". I thank God I'm not superhuman otherwise, I would have flogged some PDP members: GEJ will get 36 strokes Mama Piss will get 42 strokes FFK will wash my plates so he can eat the crumbs left on the plate because that's what he is good at doing. Metuh will get 12 strokes Diezani will get 50 strokes Ngozi will get 6 strokes And OBJ will be horse whip, 100 whips! OBJ is the one that put us in all this mess in the first place by anointing GEJ Yar'Adua's successor. |
Politics › Re: Buhari Confirms Plan To Reduce Ministries by joseph1832(m): 9:28pm On Aug 02, 2015 |
barcanista: Buhari may elect to even work with just 5 Ministries, the bottomline is that he will/must employ a minimum of 37 Ministers that will represent the 36 states and FCT. This is the law...There is nothing he can do about it.
"There shall be such offices of Ministers of the Government of the Federation as may be established by the President; Any appointment to the office of Minister of the Government of the Federation shall, if the nomination of any person to such office is confirmed by the Senate, be made by the President; Any appointment under subsection (2) of this section by the President shall be in conformity with the provisions of section 14(3) of the Constitution:- provided that in giving effect to the provisions aforesaid the President shall appoint at least one minister from each State, who shall be an indigene of such State. " (section 147(1), (2), (3) and section 302 of the 1999 Constitution (as amended)) Yes am sure he knows this, he's smarter than GEJ and his has as VP someone who is ten times more capable than dumbo sambo!. Rest assured, the number of ministries/minister shall not exceed or be less than the required number. |

Poems For Review › That Voice In The Desert. by joseph1832(op): 11:54am On Aug 02, 2015*. Modified: 9:05am On Jan 26, 2016 |
That voice in the desert that cries Wolf when sheep are slain. That voice is the desert that rain Words when swords come piercing.
That voice in the desert that lament Lamentations when the people lament. That voice in the desert That deserts dissertation of egoism.
That voice of logic that sing songs Of tragic tales that sails, From Limpopo to Zambaizi.
That voice of tragedy that wails And yells like the wolf when its full moon, That voice of reason that moves beyond Season when schism becomes reason.
That voice that voice. That voice that echo the cry Of warriors past whose blood soak The land like rain soak the sand.
That voice that sings sonnets That resonates like planets, Whose light shines brightest Like the morning sun.
That voice that placates when feelings duplicate, And replicate the hope of the hopeless. That voice that cry like banshee When blood flows like crimson,
Behold!
That voice that has been drowned by nepotism, That voice that has been raped by fanaticism, That voice that has been corrupted by corruption, That voice that has been bribed by bribery, That voice that has been quenched by nepotism, Fanaticism, tribalism, religious extremism, And all manner of bribery and corruption.
Behold!
That voice that shook hands With the cold hands of death. That voice that voice, For we no longer hear that voice.

I honestly wish I had access to his personal email, facebook page or twitter account, I would have given him a taste of his own medicine. Imagine him asking the poor girl how much she charges for blowjobs? Come on! That's very insensitive of him. Gosh! |

N1one: He is also an unequivocally ignominious rogue and a debauched stench-emitting leach on humanity Imagine preying on the weakness of the poor girl! While further shoving his thoughtless opinions on her. The individual is not only a nitwit, he's also an insensitive over bloated F00L!. To think of the way he just bullied the poor girl while using the guise of helping her. ECOTERRORS: The journalist that did this interview was so unprofessional with his questions, Somebody that had sex is being asked about Mouth Action?
Shiit head journalist. There is nothing professional about this sham on an interview. The journalist openly ridiculed the girl. |

The modern church is a mockery of christianity! There is absolutely nothing christlike in its dealings. All the modern church is focused on is accumulation of wealth, collection of tithe, offering and sowing seed money in bullion vans and of course, the preaching of prosperity!.
Indeed, the modern church has turn to the embodiment of imperialism, where the greed of a select few is placed above the want of the vast majority!. |

Any right thinking mind doesn't need a stick of dynamite in his brain to tell him that the PDP under GEJ was the most corrupt in the history of this country. And it was for this very reason that jonathan was voted out!.
I rest my case!. |

MAYOWAAK: His anti-opulence stances dates back to a very long time.In 1992,as a young pastor(he was just 3 years in ministry then) he rejected a gift of a Mercedes benz brand car commonly known as Beast. The basis for Bakare's rejection of the car was that he asked the donor what he does a living and he could not give a reasonable answer. Oh yea? Like I said, if it was some men of god, they would have accepted it without even asking questions. |

All they'll do is collect tithe and sowing seed money and further enrich their self while their flock wallow in poverty and penury.
Truly, by their fruits, ye shall know them!!!. |

Nihilist: Naming and Shaming does not work. We've seen all the articles posted online with names and photos of the pedos and rapists. What has happened to them afterwards? Do you even remember the names of the perps or the victims? I certainly don't.
The ideal thing to have is a sex offenders list...but even that wouldn't work in Nigeria for obvious reasons.
The only thing to do is to protect yourself.
Look at it this way, I live in a country where fences are ornamental rather than functional, and windows don't have bars on them. The average person here does not need a 6 foot fence with barbed wire to protect him from burglars and the police are well equipped to rapidly respond to any calls for help. Consequently it is illegal to use deadly force to defend yourself in your own house
Now in contrast, I was born in a country where the fences are very much functional and all the windows and doors have bars on them. The average person needs a 10 foot wall topped with barbed wire, spikes and broken bottles, in addition to burglary proofed iron bars on windows and doors, and their gates are padlocked. The police system does not work, and you are encouraged to defend yourself if and when you can.
That is the key thing here: Self-Defence.
Now one _idiot quoted me to ask who would defend a 10 year old girl. 10 year old girls get molested even in advanced countries. If I have to explain that my post on self-defence also extends to guardians defending their wards, I might as well just give up on having an intelligent conversation.
Finally, Standd Nigeria is broken, no two ways about it. Idealism is misplaced when talking about the utter clusterfuck that is that country. Nigerians must be pragmatic realists on all occasions. There is really nothing else to aspire to. Dude, do you have any idea what the embolden mean? How can a sane mind say "Nigeria is broken?". Fine Nigeria/Nigerians (some of us) may be corrupt, selfish and greedy but saying the whole country is broken is fuc.ked up bro. Have a look at Rwanda, Burundi and some East African countries and compare to with Nigeria and tell me if you can still use that word 'broken'. No wonder you secretly advocate for gay acceptance here!. |
