Will you be kind enough to do a write up about the rules of writing poetry ( If there are rules sha) or what is required of a poet. Like language, rhyme, stanzas, punctuations, whatever, whatever

If you can do it, just put it up as a thread or even mail it to me. I really need it. Please.

How do you know you are not some form of advanced nano-machine yourself? The air you breath is what keeps you living, once it's cut-off, your physical body dies! What makes you think your thoughts whether positive or negative are not influenced by advanced forces beyond your understanding? To me, I feel humans are more like biological machines with free will

Did I hear you say "our forefathers had no science"? Science is ancient and by far older than poetry; the science of mathematics, agriculture, fire, medicine etc are by far more ancient than poetry!

War is primarily a product of human nature...War and sorrow will continue as long as unrighteousness rules the world we live in! In fact violence, killings, rapes and all forms of immoralities are by far worst in today's world than in ancient times!

Poetry won't give you the coding/programming to do the CGI for the over-the-top action scenes

Chess is not science. It is like an art of 'war'.
You learn how to move, when to strike and when to remain in hiding. In short, you learn how to dance across the chess board. You learn every pattern like a dance.

Chess is science....you play for points in chess in case of a draw. You have to consider the points you get for every move. You have to plan your moves ahead of time- and every move is a pattern which you must understand.

Poetry does have some issues.

-Blasphemous poetry. Some poets have died for this under religion.
-Poems praising suicide as the final release/eternal sleep
-Poems praising murderers and dictators.....IMAGINE SOME PDP POEM PRAISING GEJ AS THE BEST LEADER!!



Poems can cause wars!!!! Remember that the pen is mightier than the sword!

You have it backwards. People in the matrix were ignorant. The robots were the genius overlords without emotion.

The people in equilibrium fared well. They had no wars. They had achieved a scientific revolution. The only setback (apart from being emotionless) was the hunting/extermination of the feelers.

Our forefathers didnt live long. For every old man you see in the village, at least 20 of his relatives died either at childbirth or at teenage years. This is not counting the millions that die of curable disease (cured by science, thank you). Science has made us live longer- you only doubt that because you live in an anti-science society called Nigeria.
