Hey, I need your help again.


So, at church there is this girl who I have been eyeing.......well, the thing about catholics is that different catholics have their favourite times for mass...some go to church at 6AM, some at 8AM some at evening mass.....so, this girl and I always go to the same mass.


I tell you, it was love at first sight. I think that there is a way 2 people know that they like each other from the way they look at each other. Funny enough, the fateful day came when we sat together by ACCIDENT...someone asked if we were brother and sister because we are both light skinned and both wore corporate dressing, we both laughed and looked at each other.....the conversation never stopped from there.


Now, the problem is that she is a liberal catholic just like I was.. She pings on bb in church. My atheism would only make her worse. I know her parents because they sometimes come to the same mass. They are staunch catholics. I dont want to let her go but I also do not want her to lose faith because of me- knowing what her parents could be like.

Gombs: What gladdens my heart is that NO MATTER the number of threads anti tithers open on a daily basis, irrespective of how they twist the topic to try and buy solidarity for their cause, they ALWAYS fail. The other thread where they opened to give testimonies about stopping tithing is a good example. Almost all comments are pro tithers. Funny enough, pro tithers don't proliferate threads ie open threads daily asking folks to tithe. God cannot be mocked. He knows his own. He is watching you all!

Name one anti tithe Church that has a global congregation! Or let's leave global level, how many of them have influence (membership base) in the country?

What's even more baffling is that, these tithing churches has brethren that are a million time smarter than folks who seem smart, by saying pastors eat tithes. I'm very smart, I don't do things I know don't work.

In other words, I'm saying to Goshen, Kunle, Christembassey, and their crew are your churches bigger and better than

If you belong to any of the above churches and you still don't tithe, because you think you are smarter than those that do, I can understand why, but then let's watch and see how we all(tithers and anti tithers) end.

Logicboy03: 1) No creation. My body is evidence that human beings evolved. Simple. It is not evidence for God. God is not written anywhere on my body or on any animal for that matter. Psychology and science predict human behaviour, religion doesnt. In fact, science can explain religion but religion can never explain science.


2) I will make you a deal; if you heal an amputee, I will become a christian and tithe all myhard earned nair n pounds to any church or christian organisation. halleluyah!

Did God need us to be God? Coz if seems without us, he's pretty useless. And bored.

Well, there is historical evidence for people using planes as weapons to blow up stuff. There was low probability of the airplane crash but evidence that planes could hit buildings

I think I should have given a more abstract example that resonates with god

A possiblity without a single shred of evidence or reasonable probability has no consequence.

It is possible that a plane could fall on my house as i am typing. Very low probability and no evidence that it will happen....hence, my building isnt protected with anti-aircraft technology

Does that mean that these scientists believe that our universe came from another universe? No...not until they prove it to be true.

- That it's rational to lock up an individual if a crime is committed in his neighborhood with providing any evidence of his involvement.
- That it's rational to claim you have kids(when you have none), and demand that others prove you have no kid.

Is it rational to make conclusions based on evidence or lack of it? If everyone is to be honest, we do not know how we got here. We all have more questions than answers. No one has claim to have ever CREATED the Universe. Until this BEING shows up and claims so, it's irrational to claim such a being EXISTS or even cares about if humans BELIEVE in it/his/her existence.
