I've noticed that size is always the issue with some of these things. My suggestion is, if the scanned items you want to upload can be opened on your android device, open it, screenshot it and edit/crop/save the ss and try again. 2 Likes |

Please, do not allow this Lagos-badagry express way media to fool you. Nnamdi Kanu was not just "arrested and extradited"..it was an "Extraordinary Rendition"..an act considered very illegal in international relations and diplomacy. In the coming days and months, this campaign to water down what went down in Kenya would continue in ernest. The continued attempt and efforts to subdue dissent, Muggle free speech and criminalise peaceful protests being embarked upon by this administration to force everyone in line while the country grapples with unemployment, food inflation, bloodletting and acute power failure will set the PMB administration as the worst to come out of Nigeria. Brace up guys, the future wey dey pregnant before come be like PMB and his goons don force am to abort. 33 Likes 3 Shares |

nannymcphee: Glad to hear your project is up and running. Your mortar and concrete mixtures are very okay for your project. Please, if you've already made a budget for the oversite concrete (German floor)..get it done before continuing with the blockwork, not later, as you have a greater chance of blocking out rodents, ants and other crawling stuffs when the concrete is monolithically placed over the floor area. Additionally, seeing that your foundation is already done, please do ensure that your structure sits at a considerable height above the general ground level (3-courses of blockwork should be your minimum), especially if the road/street has not been tarred/built before now...trust me, it will save you loads of agony in the future. Best wishes. 2 Likes |

nannymcphee: Happy new year to you too. Very happy to learn that you aren't suspending the project entirely, however, if you're very certain the ground is solid, there may be no need for pillars.. though I would advise that extremely long walls should be reinforced. Also, endeavour to link the entire structure at the lintel level...(normally referred to as "chaining". Best wishes. N/B: Taking a very close look at the draft plan, can I suggest that ventilation be improved? Or is it late for your architect to modify?? Also, it is ideal to point out that this plan is a "double flat" configuration and not necessarily a "3-bedroom flat with BQ". From what I know, BQs are always set back from the main building. On the one bedroom side, the positions of the kitchen and the bedroom can be swapped to give room for one adjacent window for the bedroom. Same can be done for the other flat, with the lounge and dining occupying the length of space taken up by the master bedroom and the second room. 1 Like |

Confused and overgrown cow! It's so painful to us as Abians that we have governors who have failed successively, but that this one keep rubbing it in our faces is a reminder that you should never hand power over to a man without vision. The okezie ikpeazu administration is more interested in copying what other governors are doing and at other times they act "Siddon dey look". For an idea of what I'm saying, look at the flyover project, he saw Ebonyi State doing it, he followed..and more than 3-years down the line, he's still stuck there. Concrete roads, the same thing. Even before commissioning the few he has done, ordinary Keke napep tires are wearing off the surfaces! Ngwa road in Aba is a disaster, those who do business there are exposed to different health issues on a daily basis. Recently, I've been seeing him on billboards with large letters, smiling beside the inscription "Kinetic Abia" and I weep..Ben Ayade has rubbed useless vocabulary on this one. The greatest losers of this man's failure are the Ngwa people, he had the golden opportunity to reform, revive and revamp Aba, but he has failed! 7 Likes 1 Share

Heymus: This is one of the reasons I asked if he is in tune with the dimensions. Drawings look small on paper because they are scaled..but could be overwhelming for the owner when the project kicks off if he doesn't get to understand the full extent/sizes of the individual components/partitions in there. |
Properties / Re: Please Kindly Criticize This 3bedroom Plan. by Josnac(m): 8:31am On Oct 29, 2020 |
nannymcphee: Good day, Well, like I said earlier, sketches and actual dimensioned drawings are two different things. He has tried, at least in replicating your idea but his dimensioning is still off. All these "3,791, 2079, 4,743..." Should be streamlined into the nearest round figures.. example for the 3 numbers above can be "3,800, 2100, 4,750" or "3,750, 2050, 4,750". Edited: Also, may I suggest you scale down the standalone toilet and bath down a bit? 1,350x2,100 is very okay. Please I hope you're in tune with the sizes/dimensions of these rooms and other components of the Building Make e no be say you go shout say the thing too large when you kick off the project. May I suggest you trim down your bedrooms to 3,600x3,600??...e get why. |

nannymcphee: Well, the idea is quite okay, I trust he won't have any more difficulties getting this into a full workable drawing.. sketches and actual drawings are two different things, if you understand. You can get in touch when it's time to build, let's give you that professional touch. Best regards!! |

Why do these people actually take Nigerians to be fools?? Someone came for a peaceful protest, your men rile them up..and when the atmosphere becomes tensed they shoot and kill/wound unarmed citizens who are demanding accountability and respect to their right to life. Abeg, I need someone here to go and tell this man he's not making any sense..I go pay your t-fare. 49 Likes 3 Shares |
