RIP |
many privates hospital share specialits doctors with the genereal hospitals. When there is an emergency they have to wait for the specialist to finish from the general hospital or another hospital and this delay leads to death in most cases. A woman went for antenatal on tuesday and they noticed there was sometin wrong wit her baby.. They had to tell her to come back on friday to see the speciist because he works else were. On wednesday the woman gave birth to a dead baby. My point is if the hospital had its own specialist, the baby's life might have been saved. What if it went the other way round and the mother died. May God save us in this country |
believe me, some men are just beasts... (Talking from experience). A man shldnt even hit his woman in d presence of d kids.. Doin tht alone in the presence of the kids shld tell u d man is simply a monster |
Correct me if I am wrong, but must you really back a baby? Just wondering. [/quote i was wondering the same. I never backed my baby at all and he is 8 months old now |
sammy.young:i hate those pple too too much. After checking my car papers and realizing they have noting against me, they told me it is a crime to drive while pregnant... Imagine rubbish |
ileobatojo: Holy ghost! People crave stones and matching sticks? Lol, pregnancy fit do person bad thing.Pregnancy really bring up a lot of tins ooo, d early stage of my pregnancy, i craved for pepper in indomie, the indomie i eat must be dried and red because of d plenty pepper. From my 6th month i started craving for native chalk, i cld spend 100 for transport only to buy 10 naira native chalk. I inhaled a lot of powder just like sniffing cocane. Then i also eat sand and eat my tailoring chalk. Lol looking back on those days maked me smile |
Pamperme: Toh, haven't seen one before o. No probs then, what's the name,so that @baby can use it coz the ones i see around usually starts from 6+.i know of cow and gate rice cereal, fruity porriadge, banana and strewberry and others. Atlests tht was wat i used for my son, it comes in varieties and different stages(ages). If u walk ino any store tht displays a lot of baby food u will see cereals for 4 month old babies. Even bledine too . |
Pamperme: @baby,there re cereals for baby from 4 months old... |
![]() ifyalways: You were supporting me? Is this a contest ?Hugs |
ifyalways: Do you have a problem with your sight?Maybe u are having problems with ur brain, i was only trying to suport wat u were saying for others to knw |
ifyalways: Seriously how stupid and daft can one getit happened to my dad's younger brother, he got a woman pregnant but unfortunatly she died wit d pregnancy, my uncle has to marry her dead body b4 they cld bury her, this happened btwn mbano (my uncle) and mabise(the lady). So it happens oooooo |
nuorlah: It is not as bad as you make it seem. When people go for antenatal care from the start of their pregnancy, it would be detected and managed effectively.i started my antenatal from 3 months and mine wasnt detected atall until the 8 month, wit the help of my mum and other specialist i was able to manage it till my 9th month b4 d operation |
agiboma: Certainly is different in developed countries where women have a much more favorable outcome. Medical treatment is more advanced and health care practitioners are more prone to look into pre e, whereas i found in Nigeria most midwife's are not really aware of it or the serious implications associated with it.u re right.. During my time the hospital i registered wit never took intrest in the high bp i was having. I kept complaining about my swollen legs but they kept telling me to always raise the legs up. My mum is a nurse and was always check me and she was getting very worried and took me to the hospital were she worked and tht is were i was told i had protein +++. The following day my mum followed me to antenatal and tht was the day they saw i had pre eclampsia. The Lord alone was my strength because who knws wat might have happened if my mum wasnt a nurse. |
Vikin: I shouldn't have opened this thread, not now!are u pregnant If u are then u dont have to be afraid. Pre eclampsia doesnt happen to everyone, it happened to me though but with God on ur side and adequate care all will be fine. I and my son are alive and fine, so i am a living testimony |
I suffered from Preclampsia when I was pregnant with my son. I had been having severe headaches for weeks but ignored it, then I had my regular midwife check and after she examined me, she sent me straight to the hospital. My baby was delivered by CS the same day, I remember the Doctors and Midwives telling me that if I had not come in that day, the story could have been different Pregnant ladies, please if you have any pains or experience anything different from the normal, just go straight to the hospital. We can never ever be too careful. I remember we stayed in hospital for close to 10 days after the birth, baby was fine but my BP refused to go down. Still thanking God for sparing my life[/quote 10 days in the hospital after birth?? I stay only 4 days and left on d 5th day even though my bp refused to come down too, i wasnt sick and i didnt even have headache during my time.. All i noticed was tht my legs were swelling up and it got my mum concerned, i carried d pregnancy to term but i wasnt allowed to deliver on my own, i gave birth tru CS too. God alone makes all tins possible, many pple have gone because of this pre eclampsia tin, i think d best way to reduce maternal death is to educate the world on this killer sickness |

blank: My 2nd son is 4 months now and i am thinking of starting him on solids. I wanted to do the whole 6 months exclusive but he is physically draining me. He eats well during the day (not too much sha) but wakes up every 30 mins to 1 hr at night. He wakes up, sucks for 10mins and then goes back to sleep. I started him on formula just before he goes to bed. It helped a little by making him initially sleep for about 3 hrs and then the whole merry-go-round resumes.u re not alone dear, my son too did d same tin and i started him on cow and gate rice cereal but it still didnt help, i think he wld change wen d time comes, i dont believe it is about feeding |
nacotic: Urmmm do u mean u drove all d way 4rm Ikorodu 2 ketu on dat express with a madman sitting on ur bonnetNo from ojota new garage to ketu (ojota is also knwn as ikorodu road) |
Gboliwe: I find this incident funny. You keep a stone in your car? Who does that? Are you also mad? Hahahahahahahahahahai am nt mad ooooo, i keep a big stone in my car because i was almost robbed once and i was saved by the handle of my baby's walker.. So i felt keeping a stone beside me wld be appropriate |
lol..... I was in traffic along ikorodu road wen a mad man came out from nowere and sat on my bonnet... I came down wit a stone i usually keep in the car and the the man just said *who u wan stone? Abi oloshi ni e nii** i had to run back to my car and put up all my glass because fear catch me and my little baby was in d car, every other driver tried scolding him but the mad man refused to come down oooo. Tht was how i carry the man to ketu b4 some touts helped me drag him down... No be small tin do me tht day oooo |
texazzpete: Do you also have sex with him? Do you bear his children? Will he swear an oath to love and protect you until death parts you two?excuse me!!!!! Wat has using my siblings kids for ritual got to do wit these. Abeg abeg abeg i dont like tht atall..... It is nt right for my brother to beat me because of his wife after i go tru thick and thin to make sure he is a better someone. If it is right in ur eye then let it be ur portion |
Okija_juju: Are you your brothers wife?!lol, forget all those tins ooooo, i only spoke my mind and my younger brother wld nt even try such because him and dat his wife go run leave planet earth for me. I trust my husband sha....eid my brother trys it ehn!!! |
kitty kat: Just beingg naughty but real at the same time. Why do we always forget the part in d Good book that says, " and the 2 shall become 1 flesh"the bible has notin to do wit this, as an elder sis to my bro i ensure he gets everytin he wants, our parents are nt rich but im married and i try to do a lot for him all tru his university education to his service yr to his day as a job seeker..... After all these sacrifise he beats me up becos of his wife ? If i no kill am tht day i will curse his entire generation. Wife ko wife nii... I will never allow my husband beats any of his sis for my sake |
kulyie: hmnnn this is serious,so you mean one day i will have to do away with my monostraps and tube gowns and be wearing 'i just born kind clothes' woow.lollol, believe me a lot of all tht will change, i even had to cut my hair so tht i can make my son's bank account very very fat.... Abeg calculate 5000 naira every month for my hair and see hw fat it wld make my sons account... Not to talk of d cost of brazilian hair and all tht. **winks** get ready.....lol |
motherhood has made me friendless..... Since i gave birth i dont mix wit pple who have nt given birth b4, i mix up wit pple who can give me informations useful in take care of my son.... Motherhood has also made me dress in a wear i never tot of b4, i now sew my cloths wit zip in front to enhance easy breastfeeding in public, i just cant see a blouse or gown in a boutique and buy it because i luv it, i muat consider if it wld enhance easy breastfeeding. Reading novels is no more for me, i usually read a lot of novels b4, i even have a shelf full of novels but wit my 5 months old son i dont even get enough sleep not to talk of reading novels. Every 5am, my son wld wake up and make sure he wakes me up. Motherhood is a very sweet and intreasting stage of one's life...infact motherhood is the best part of my life. I dont fight or quarrel anymore because i dont want to die and leave me son behind for anybody to treat anyhow |
