War will be end of the story, if in the name of self defence against attack everyone carry guns, cutlass etc. imagine the way some Nigerian police officer on uniform and with guns treat and kill innocent civilians cos they have that power, so if everybody has the power to protect themselves i bet it that we are all equal to protect against attack even from the government not only from terrorist. That is war. Though we have a failed system where our security system has been jeopardise but i am not in support. This is Nigeria not Somalia or Libya
Anytime you or any of your family members are attacked, don't do anything go and report to the police.

PoliticsRe: Herdsmen: Army Tackles TY Danjuma, Warns Nigerians To Be Law Abiding by jozee8: 5:15pm On Mar 25, 2018
imhotep:
By Nwafor Sunday

Nigerian military has on Sunday classified the statement credited to a former Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma, as an unfortunate statement coming out from a highly distinguished statesman especially now the military has embarked on demilitarization of the North Central Region of the Country.

Danjuma The headquarter through its public relations director, Texas Chukwu, Brigadier General also warned Nigerians not to listen to the former chief of Army staff, noting that anyone caught in possession of arms would be dealt with. “The Nigerian Army is constitutionally charged with the responsibility of defending the territorial integrity of Nigeria and to aid the civil authority whenever called upon to do so”, part of its statement read. Recall that Danjuma had asked Nigerians especially Taraba indigenes to protect themselves or risk being killed by herdsmen. A statement he made at the convocation ceremony of the Taraba State University, yesterday that pinched the Nigerian Army. Danjuma said, “You must rise to protect yourselves from these people; if you depend on the armed forces to protect you, you will all die.

Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai “I ask all of you to be on the alert and defend your country, defend your state. “This ethnic cleansing must stop in Taraba, and it must stop in Nigeria. These killers have been protected by the military; they cover them and you must be watchful to guide and protect yourselves because you have no other place to go”, he said.

In view of this therefore, the Nigerian headquarter on Sunday issued a statement warning Nigerians not to listen to the advice of the statesman for they are saddled with the responsibility of protecting the territory. Read its full statement below: “The attention of the Nigerian Army has been drawn to the unfortunate statement made by a former Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma, during the convocation ceremony of the Taraba State University on Saturday 24 March 2018 in which he categorically asserted that the Armed Forces of Nigeria was colluding with militias and other criminal elements and was unable to provide security for the citizens of Taraba State.

He further called the people of Taraba State to take up arms and defend themselves. “The Nigerian Army views this statement made by the former Chief of Army Staff as most unfortunate at this critical time that the military has embarked upon demilitarisation of the North Central Region of the Country. “While Nigerian Army would not want to join issues with the Elder Statesman, however, certain facts need to be clearly stated in the interest of the Taraba People and the Nigerian public: “The Nigerian Army is constitutionally charged with the responsibility of defending the territorial integrity of Nigeria and to aid the civil authority whenever called upon to do so. In this light, the authorisation for the conduct of Ex AYEM AKPATUMA was authorised and troops deployed to curb menace of the herdsmen-farmers conflict and other criminal activities in the North Central Region amongst others. “

It is on record that the successes so far achieved in Ex AYEM AKPATUMA have been recognised and accepted by Nigerians. “The public is notified that Nigerian Army personnel have had to pay the supreme price for ensuring the sustenance of security in Taraba State. For instance, a gallant non-commission officer of the Nigerian Army was beheaded on 16 March 2018 in Takum Taraba State by criminal elements. “It is noteworthy to state that at the inception of Ex AYEM AKPATUMA, the Taraba State Government, did not cooperate with the Nigerian Army due to the Army’s stance to remain absolutely neutral in the herdsmen-farmers crisis. The Nigerian Army will continue to remain as such. “For avoidance of doubt, the Nigerian Army advises the people of Taraba State and indeed all other Nigerians to continue in their day-to-day activities and be law abiding as anyone caught with arms and ammunition will be dealt with accordance with the laws of the land. Every law-abiding citizen is assured of equal protection and security of their lives and property irrespective of his/her person.”

PoliticsHow GEJ Took Lai Mohammed To The Cleaners! by jozee8(op): 3:40pm On Mar 03, 2018
Former president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has warned the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed to respect his age and stop lying to Nigerians.

Jonathan made the observation in a statement by his former aide, Reno Omokri, while reacting to a statement accredited to the minister of information when he made the following observation. “Now, don’t compare orange with apple. When Chibok girls were kidnapped, it took the PDP government 18 full days to admit that the girls were kidnapped. This time we swung into action within 24 hours.”

According to a statement made available to Daily post , Jonathan wonders when Mohammed will respect his old age and stop lying?

The statement reads:

“My attention has been drawn to fallacious comments made by the notoriously dishonest Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, to the effect that the Jonathan administration did not act on time when the Chibok Girls were kidnapped whereas the Buhari government acted promptly when the Dapchi Girls were kidnapped.

“Lai’s comments are reminiscent of the statement made by Presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina, justifying President Buhari’s inaction on killer Fulani herdsmen because the herdsmen also killed during Jonathan’s tenure.

“When will Lai Mohammed respect his old age and stop lying? Is he not ashamed at the storm he is currently facing on social media after he lied that 100 planes are searching for the Dapchi Girls, a statement that was promptly denounced as a lie by the Nigerian Air Force? Even members of his own government know Lai Mohammed is a liar.

“For the avoidance of doubt, it is not true that the Jonathan government took 18 days to admit that the Chibok Girls were kidnapped.

“The Chibok Girls were kidnapped on April 14, 2014. Exactly three days later, on April 17, 2014, then President Goodluck Jonathan called an emergency National Security Council meeting at Aso Rock Presidential Villa.

“If the Jonathan administration did not admit that the Chibok Girls were kidnapped, why would the President summon a Nation Security Council meeting?

“Now more than a week after the Dapchi Girls were kidnapped, has President Buhari held a National Security Council meeting to address the situation? No he has not. As a matter of fact, to prove to Nigerians how inept he is, the President canceled this week’s Federal Executive Council meeting.

“Which serious leader cancels the most important meeting in his nation at a time when Kaduna is facing ethnic and religious killings, Zamfara is facing mass killings by bandits, Benue, Plateau, Adamawa and Taraba are facing an onslaught from Fulani herdsmen and 110 girls were kidnapped in Dapchi?

“Going back to the Jonathan administration, the Nigerian Army and Air force began searching for the girls after the emergency National Security Council meeting on April 17, 2014, with sorties being flown in search of the girls.

“But very curiously, Nigerians would recall that the All Progressive Congress Governor of Borno State, Governor Kashim Shettima, admitted in an interview he gave Premium Times on April 2, 2016, that he deliberately did not inform the then President about the Chibok kidnap when it happened. President Jonathan had to find out from military forces on the ground.

“Why would the chief security officer of his state be that negligent?

“My advice to Alhaji Lai Mohammed is that he should direct his lying talents to the specific task of cooking up lies to counter the testimony of the APC Yobe State Governor, Ibrahim Geidam, who blamed the kidnapping of the Dapchi Girls on the Buhari administration.

“According to Mr. Geidam, the Nigerian Army under President Buhari pulled out the troops guarding Government Girls Science and Technology College, Dapchi.

“Who gave the order for the troops to leave their guard duty? The sector command has said that they handed over security of the school to the Nigerian Police Force, an assertion that has been denied by the police.

“These are the things that should concern Lai Mohammed, not a contest with an administration that scored higher anti-corruption ratings from Transparency International than the corrupt government he is serving. And if he has too much time on his hand, Lai Mohammed can travel to more European football clubs to disgrace himself and his family by wearing a suit jacket on top of an agbada.

“Let me end by saying that whoever named Lai Mohammed at birth must have been a prophet. The person was able to look far ahead into Lai’s future and gave him a name that rhymes with his life’s purpose.”

Mrchippychappy:
So something really funny happened right now. I googled the name of the Nigerian terrorist the USA blacklisted Abu Musab Al - Barnawi and the search returned news and information on Abu Musab Al - Barnawi BUT something stood out, the search also brought the name of 5 other individuals

1. Abubakar Shekau
2.Mohammed Yusuf
3. Maitatsine
4. Abu Al-Zarqawi

All these men listed above all have one thing in common, They were / are all Islamic Terrorists

BUT HERE'S THE INTERESTING PART. The Fifth individual is someone we all know, now, I cannot write about the fifth person here for obvious reasons (Ehmmm...Lai Mmmmmm, lets leave it at that), but there's a saying that goes like this "show me your friend and I would tell you who you are", and there is another saying "By their fruits you shall know them". Now my question is this, WHY has this fifth individual been associated with these men? Your guess is as good as mine. Don't believe me? search the name "Abu Musab Al - Barnawi"

I would let you be the judge

PoliticsRe: APC Extends Oyegun's Tenure By One Year by jozee8: 4:39pm On Feb 27, 2018
KOPT55:
Tinubu has been cut to size. The extension of Oyegun's tenure and Buhari's instruction to Oyegun to "ignore him" are the loudest signifier of this fact.

Tinubu showed his hand too early and he was rightly outplayed. I wasn't surprised, he really does not have men of large stature and influence in the APC anymore; his loyalty base was prudently pruned in the years following the APC's ascent to power. At the moment, there are just about two choices left for him: Become loyal to Buhari and do his biddings; 2, or leave the party.

If he leaves the Party at this point, he will not be missed: The APC can afford not to have the insignificant support his followers bring.

So in the end, Tinubu wasn't so smart afterall.
What if Tinubu made that move to see if the president is still mr integrity?
What if tinubu is the one that is one step ahead here?
In politics, nothing look as it seems!
After all what do i knowhuh
