Igbo in their mind they're Jews. While the same real Jews in Israel who practice Judaism have no regards for them. It such a pity. It just like a shrine worshipper trying hard to show that he is a Catholic. No matter how hard he try the Vatican will never recognize him as a Catholic.
IPOB worship Chukwuokike Abiama an oracle, while Nnamdi Kanu and his minions wears Kippa and other Jewish costumes forgetting Judaism report to a different God.

Thanks for the insult Mr Man. I am not into prostitution or the likes you mentioned there. Why the use of dog chains? Is that part of arts too? I also love hardworking ladies who have integrity ehn. I don't admire lazy women as well. Aren't there decent ways of doing the arts whatsoever that a man using dog chains on the females?
Once again, thanks for the insult smiley
Just Listen to yourself? how will you have better ways to drive an art that thrives on Masochism?

Why do you think Daar Robinson is paid $100,000 to jump from a 900 foot canadian national tower to boost the action image of stiff actors like Keanu Reeves and Tom cruize? Dont you know stunt artistry is a form of performance art?

The girls are humiliated to boost his popularity for a show man who can neither sing nor dance for you, in a few months he will be more popular than most artists you know.

Strip dancers are they not performance artists? what is more humiliating than dancing naked before lascivious men for $20 tips?

Ignorance is not a virtue, don't insult people you have no clue what they are doing.

What is the meaning of this? shocked
First, I don't think someone will force you into doing sth you don't like except you like it in a way! The girls have become dog-like humans for the money. Lazy girls like these ones can lick faeces for money. To carry their body and work is wahala. Na dangote son dey wan marry. This is how daftness will keep flying from generation to generation. What do you expect these girls to teach their daughters? To allow guys to put elephant chains on them?
I am used to Nigerians making ignorant statements and assuming stone age posture, what caught my attention is the way you insulted hard working women who may have ended up like you who risk your life to rip off men with your private part.

In that picture is a form of performance art under the broad category of body art, it thrives on the psychology of masochism for entertainment purposes, you may be familiar with extreme body piercings for the same purpose, usually done to boost poularity of less skillful performers.

While people like you are comfortable with prostitution, performance art is a no no for your likes who lacked proper education and way too stup!d to realize that.

When i tell people that abakaliki and wawa(enugu) people are not real igbos, some call me a racist. Abakaliki and Wawa people have been the biggest saboteurs in the history of igbos. From the sabotage of the biafran war, to granting fulanis license to build mosques all over ebonyi state, to the free passage granted to fulani terrorists disguising as herdsmen to use enugu state as a launch base to attack igboland, these people have shown that they have mixed blood rushing through their veins. But one thing must be made very clear. APC is seen as an islamic and satanic cult here in Igboland no matter what clowns like Umahi say.

Politics › Re: Umahi Assures Buhari Of Ebonyi's Vote In Next Election by jpphilips(m): 11:50am On Jan 10, 2017
idris93:
The governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi, says Ebonyi people will vote overwhelmingly for President Muhamadu Buhari if he contests any election in the future.
The governor, elected on the platform of the People Democratic Party (PDP), poured encomiums on President Buhari, saying that he was the only recognisable APC member in Ebonyi State.
The president, said the governor, regards Ebonyi State with deep affection unlike APC members from the state who do not care about the welfare of the people.
Pledging the unflinching loyalty of the people of the state to the Buhari administration, Mr. Umahi said the only vote APC would get in the state would be for the president.
“I have always said that APC is one man and that’s the president. The president is a man with good character and that’s why we are supporting him and he is supporting Ebonyi State.
“Ebonyi State is very dear in the heart of the President but not in the hearts of the masquerades who have not given anybody chalk.
“If APC will get a vote in Ebonyi State, it will get vote by the President alone and nobody else”.
The governor spoke when a delegation from Ohaozara, Onicha and Ivo Federal constituency as well as leaders from Onicha-East constituency paid him a New Year homage in Ohaozara LGA.
He said that his efforts to transform the state had made it impossible for the APC to be useful.
Referring to the APC and its symbol, broom, the governor added jokingly that “our people doing handiwork have refused to produce brooms again”.
Mr. Umahi, according the statement, said: “When you have broom in Ebonyi State where will you sweep? Is there any place to be swept? Is Ebonyi not clean? Is Ebonyi not neat?
“There is nothing to sweep. They have to take it (broom) to places that are dirty and continue their sweeping. But in Ebonyi State and because of the kind of people in APC, our people doing handiwork have refused to produce brooms again. So, there are no brooms in Ebonyi State because we have made everywhere to be very clean.
“When you’re walking on our roads you will be seeing yourself because the light will be on. So you will be seeing your shadow on the road. So there is nothing to sweep,” he said.
Mr. Umahi advised the people not to be deceived by those who had opportunity to help others but rather used it to care for themselves alone.
“We have seen the need for unity in Ebonyi State. We’ve seen the need for equity and fair play in the land of Ebonyi and God is helping us so much in this direction because that’s why we have absolute peace in Ebonyi State and that’s why there is no other party.
“People have been deceiving our people for years. Every time they deceive our people and they have had opportunity to buy houses in Abuja. Whom have they sent to school? Whom have they paid their school fees? The time of deceit is gone.”

In my own opinion, Lagos state is not suppose to be a state after the capital was transferred to Abuja. They should have made it an Annex of the countries capital or call it Nigeria's industrial capital cos I don't see what really the state govt is doing to to generate such huge money used for budget. 90% of internally generated revenue are of federal standard and comes from all parts of the country. every state imports through Lagos and they indirectly enjoy the wealth of the whole nation. So many cooperate headquarters are all in Lagos... The state govt sing praises from doing nothing to generate revenue. The revenues are federal government made.
NB: I said in my own opinion
Lagos should be industrial capital of Nigeria and should be removed from state level.
As much as I respect your opinion, if the truth must be said, you are ignorant, let me deal with the issues you raised.

Lagos is successful because of good leadership and the feat of Lagos can be replicated anywhere else.

From Tinubu to Ambode have been excellent administrators regardless of some Federal infrastructures in the state, infact the more people you accommodate, the more pressure you have on social infrastructure, look at Lagos does it look dilapidated to you while handling MMA and NPA pressures?

FG doesn't build NPA in your state to decongest Apapa for you, that is where astute state leadership comes in, if MMA was in Rivers state, it would have 100 tout out posts in it making things unbearable for passengers.

You can not vote a block head like Fayose and expect development, you can not vote a tout like Wike and expect development , you can not vote an Oracle like Ochendo and expect development, it is practically impossible.

You mentioned corporate headquarters of companies if you dont site it in Lagos or Abuja, where else?
Some of those companies have operations in Rivers state can you really operate peacefully in Rivers the way you would in Lagos?

Two towns Omoku and Ogoni are deserted in Rivers state, never mind that Omoku is home to 4 lucrative oil fields, companies maintain skeletal operations there while everything is run from Lagos, do you blame them?
Every morning, headless humans litter the streets of Omoku.

Experts can't come close to a jetty let alone creeks, you cant use a Truck without police escort else you become porridge for touts.

Touts everywhere, by population density, Lagos was supposed to have the highest number of bandits than elsewhere yet the reverse is the case.

The government is not a celestial feeding bottle, its duty is primarily to create the enabling environment for us to succeed, when a Governor becomes an accessory to chaos, what do you expect of his state?

The Rivers state house of Assembly has 9 members under the federal government Amnesty programme, can you imagine a society such charlatans have built?

Like or hate, Lagos is everything a sane clime should be.

2. it is now easy for him to pack all your money and run without any trace

3. efcc , fbi etc... no evidence again

4. IF you provide help and the reciever decide to run away.. nothing like freezing his account ..your money is gone

I try as much as possible to restrain myself from playing the religious or ethnic card, but events of the past few days calls for concern.

If christian leaders are made to submit to the laws of Nigeria as a sovereign nation, how come a good number of Muslims in Nigeria are against the gender equality bill and its provisions?
The reason I'm familiar with is that it is against Islam therefore cannot be observed by Muslim faithful. The sultan vehemently spoke against it, and that Muslims will never submit to such law because it is against their believe. This to say the least is an assault on the sovereignty of Nigeria and her capacity to enact laws in order to safeguard the rights of all Nigerians.

I honestly think christians are conceding too much, so do the traditionalists.
If these our so called men of God have not been greedy in their disposition, perhaps this double standards would not occur.

National laws should not be made to target certain groups.
Finally, the sovereignty of Nigeria is absolute and comprehensive. Therefore, all who are bound by the territory Nigeria, is expected to submit to and respect the laws of the country, whether they are against our believes, as long as they serve and promote the greater good.

Enough of religion induced laws. Religion is suppose to be a private affair, therefore should not be promoted by the state
Rotational leadership is it against the tenets of christianity?

The law though not new but its a two edged sword meant to regulate church activities/influence (politics is partly involved) and check excesses of church leaders vis-à-vis their extravagant lifestyles.

On the long run Christianity is the loser because there's a silent move to subjugate christians either some believe it or not. Influential christian leaders who has been hobnobbing with politicians got caught unawares due to their selfishness and greed cos they failed to do the 'needful' before this law eventually became effective.

How many times have these soul robbers spoken out against killing of christians in the north? Aside few bold ones who hasn't been 'eating' from aso rock largesse of either pecuniary gains or appointment / elections huh

Until these idiotic influential christians/leaders wake up from their slumber of living large, luxurious bling bling light hugging life styles they wont realise the dangers they pose to their followers who erroneously thought they have shepherds but who are nothing but self serving wolves.

And for those christians who will only say God will fight their cause well I like to remind them too that heaven helps those who helped themselves.
Christianity used to have a God that fought his battles, why do we need an Afolabi to remind us or some other influential christians?

The reason why the church grew larger than life was because Nigeria released a generation of unintelligent folks who patronised those warehouses, the same unintelligence that stopped Afolabi from challenging that law in court in 2011 when we had a christian President.

The bible made it clear that only levites are authorised to feed from Tithe and these levites must not inherit the church, so what is wrong with the law?

In the UK you have no right to invest church donations unlike here yet the likes of Afolabi saw nothing wrong with that.

In Germany, the govt collect church tax unlike here yet the Almighty Jehovah didn't fall from heaven, simple rotational church leadership is giving you heart attack, seems like our law makers understand the bible better than the so called god of men.

Not to worry, choppings is over!! go get a proper tax paying job.

Systematic Stripping Of The Church Under Buhari

By Favour Afolabi

As you go to church this morning, and as a CHRISTIAN, do meditate on my next line of thoughts.

It was the CHRISTIANS that largely produced this new government with ‘their body language’ and now ‘The Most Senior CHRISTIAN LEADERS’ in Nigeria [including Pastor Tunde Bakare, who carried the placards around the nation for the emergence of this new government] are being asked, via an OBNOXIOUS Law that was inserted through the backdoor into the Nigerian Constitution to STEP DOWN from leading the brethren in their churches in Nigeria!

When you ask Pastor Adeboye, Bishop Oyedepo, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, Pastor Kumuyi, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Pastors Adefarasin, the elder and the younger ones, Bishop Okonkwo, Pastor Ashimolowo, Pastor Adeyemi, etc – all who have led their ministries for ‘the stipulated 20 years’ from leading their churches, the obvious question is “What is left of the leadership of the church in Nigeria?”

When you enact a law that says “a church leader cannot hand over the leadership of his ministry to a family member’, you ask yourself – so what becomes of how so many of such examples occurred in the Bible? And what becomes of the story of the Hagins? And many others?

The elitists Christians in Nigeria have always applauded as the church is stripped in Nigeria – they were happy when ‘Christian businessmen were being stripped of the leadership of the banking industry’ – they didn’t mind as scores of churches were being burnt and hundreds of Christians killed in the aftermath of the 2011 elections pogrom; they have been silent as another round hundreds of Christians are being killed in Northern Nigeria; they ask critical questions of why a governor listened to security reports to remove students from class in the largely non-Christian environs but rejected such advice by keeping the largely christian community Chibok in their classes leading to the abduction of the Chibok Girls – the elites in the Nigerian church movement are very good at speaking ‘very big English’ – they are always super intellectuals on all subjects but obviously ‘lack critical wisdom of the place of the church in Nation States.’

They love to quote examples of how things are done around the world BUT when it comes to standing up for the CHURCH in Nigeria, they soon become quiet and when they are loud begin to even justify such atrocities against the church in Nigeria.

It is very important to ask the question – “where were all the hashtags as this ere being passed in Nigeria?” No, our Christian brethren were still very busy, chasing on Twitter “the missing Billions” – the monies that would never be transferred to their bank accounts when recovered – for which they will get no contracts awarded to them. Of course, it is also these Christians that major “on the opulence of Pastors” – that seems to be their one goal in life – to making sure their Pastors become paupers – what a life ambition to have as a Christian?

Of course, Politicians, in Nigeria, have always “believed that the CHURCH was growing with too much influence” – they have always been afraid of the CROWDS we pull together, for free, which they, have ‘to pay stolen monies to get’; they have always been afraid of our Prosperity, which, they see, we get without toil, as they do; and they have always wondered how they can ‘pocket’ the church; and our brethren have stood by, applauding them as they do such things because they are the ones that provide the online materials for the ridiculing of the Church in Nigeria – well, to these ones, I say, it is time for you to brace up for the leadership of the Church in Nigeria – you have very big shoes to fill so you had better begin ‘to fast and pray’, away from your ‘DSTV Sessions.’

To the larger Christians in Nigeria, I say “Congratulations!”

I thank the Holy Spirit for always being my WITNESS on these matters – HE knows that I have never found myself on the side of such display of cheap populism in Nigeria.

Please can any one enlightening us on the Nigerian gas value chain. Because I don't understand how dollar will be affecting gas produced in Nigeria such that its price would be more than in the global market.
Gas investments are made in usd it makes no sense recouping the investment in naira that will take a life time.
The NOPL project cost Total and FG nearly $1b such investment can not be recouped in naira.

Before now, gas is produced as AG, associated gas meaning, once you make oil investments, gas comes alongside, that way you dont need a separate investment for gas as our needs grew, NIPP thermal power plants and other sundry needs, we started investing in NAG (Non associated gas) which is more expensive. it doesnt mean that if one goes through the NGC channel, you wont get at $2.50 per scf.

NGC is the subsidiary of NNPC tasked with gas production I guess the system over there is inefficient hence manufacturers bypass NGC to negotiate directly with our JV guys, when they get there, they negotiate based on exclusive right to kill off competition resulting in price increase.

Does the person even understand the relationship between oil price and exchange rate?

Highlights from the State of the Nation Address - Looking Into the Future with the Eye of Faith by Pastor Tunde Bakare of the Latter Rain Assembly Ikeja, delivered on the 8th of January, 2016.

From variations of ‘chanji’, to the conflation of ‘change’ and ‘recession’, few, have been immune to exclamations of discontent 2016. The way forward is not so complex for those interested in genuine change. The confusing and discriminatory multiple dollar to naira exchange rates must be discarded. A more reliable exchange rate, mutually beneficial to our people & economy & attractive to foreign investors, should be put in place.

Prohibitive and punitive interest rates must be lowered in order to liberate the creative ingenuity of our people. Propelled by love for our nation, and driven by a desire to see this government succeed, we come with additional propositions in 2017. Upon this premise, our quest for solutions must begin with an honest appraisal of where we are in readiness for where we desire to be.

"On corruption, we have seen some progress in the anti-corruption war" From being dubbed “Sin-galore” after Independence in 1959, to being ranked the seventh least corrupt state in 2014. Singapore’s upward trajectory provides a compelling contemporary case study. As Nigerians know too well, winning an election is one thing; governance is another kettle of fish.

How did Lee Kuan Yew’s visionary leadership transform Singapore from a by-word to a gold standard?

1. He used the existing (CPIB) to “(launch) a vehement campaign against bribery and graft".
2. He took responsibility for creating his own raw materials to override constraints, as all visionary leaders do.
3. He demonstrated grit, single-mindedness, boldness & consistency in overcoming significant challenges.

Lee Kuan Yew was “completely incorruptible, and chose people who were incorruptible," Nigeria does not have a peculiar problem that has not been solved before, we cannot continue to treat cancer with Panadol. "If we are fighting corruption, let us remove the kid gloves; if we are diversifying the economy, let us make tough choices" "If we are confronting insecurity, let us also address the systemic issues that make it possible in the first place."

A national vision must possess the following qualities:

1.It is given by God to those who are burdened with the destiny of their nation whether or not they are in government.
2. To access the vision, such nation builders must heed the call to ascend above the perversity of their environment
3. A national vision is crafted against the backdrop of an accurate definition & assessment of the problems & challenges plaguing the nation
4. It is bold and audacious to the extent that only the faith-inspired can conceive it
5. A true national vision is not only accurate, it is broad and panoramic, encompassing the varied dimensions of the landscape
6. A national vision is documented, hence the admonition, “write the vision”
7. The essence of a national vision is kept plain and simple for all citizens to understand and imbibe
8. A national vision has a clear communication strategy that ensures that everyone “reads” it.
9. A national vision must galvanize and inspire corresponding action among the citizenry.
10. A national vision is time delineated; it must be long term, such that it is aspired to or waited for

Against this backdrop, the following verdict may be passed on us as a nation: This government has a direction in terms of goals & objectives that are mid to short term; As a nation we still lack a true national vision. The signs of the absence of a true national vision are so glaring that one would conclude that the Habakkuk was talking about Nigeria. The biggest indicator of the absence of a national vision or rallying point is the preponderance of sectional agitations.

Currently, we have a government that is led by a man who desires the best for Nigeria and is doing what he deems best. For a relatively long time, the government failed to effectively communicate its direction as encapsulated in the “Change” agenda. Due to the communication gaps and poor mobilization, there has been insufficient corresponding action by non-state stakeholders. After a slow start the current government has created laudable medium term plans for socioeconomic growth and recovery.

However, it is yet to demonstrate the audacity and courage required to address the foundations of the Nigerian problem. A critical factor that will determine the success or failure of the government and its plans. That factor is the restructuring of our nation. The inquisitive may ask: “Why must we restructure?” We must restructure to correct the flaws in our federal system.

Our founding fathers agreed that Nigeria would be “a truly federal state with limited & specific powers allocated to the federal government. This agreement was the social contract upon which the Nigerian state was formed. This social contract was broken on May 24, 1966 through the Unification Decree by Gen. J.T.U. Aguiyi-Ironsi’s administration.

Today, we have 36 Ministries and 36 Commissioners for Education which, consume a huge chunk of the limited education budget. Imagine how much we could save with six efficient and effective ministries in education and other relevant socioeconomic sectors. These 36 states should, become districts headed by Mayors within the framework of 6 geopolitical zones.

I am inclined to a zonally structured governance system... Let the Nigerian people decide. For us at the Latter Rain Assembly, we have accepted responsibility for our nation and that is why we do what we do. As watchmen over our nation, we are propelled by our God-given vision of the New Nigeria, a nation on a journey to oneness and greatness. We seek Nigeria’s transition from 36 states to 6 geopolitical zones that will become harbingers of a united nation.

It is time to build a well-ordered nation with strong institutions dispensing justice. It is time to arise with patriotic zeal to build a great nation such that. May 2017 be the year we look into the future with the eyes of faith and take steps to accomplish all that we know is possible.

"Thank you for listening; God bless you, and God bless Nigeria."

I dont agree completely that sectional rife will be eliminated if we go back to a regional or geopolitical structure, it doesn't stop each region struggling to produce the mayor with the mentality of the average Nigerian politician. You will be suprised in a few years some people will threaten to pull out from their respective regions.

In a SW region for example, an average Oyo man may not be happy that a Lagosian has ruled more than himself regardless of the fact that the person must have won a regional election that clearly reflects the wish of the people. Unless Nigeria is balkanized to accommodate the greed of every politician then I may agree.

If you think that 36 Ministers is too much (I agree with you anyways ) do you need a restructured Nigeria to achieve that? A simple constitutional review can reduce the number of ministers. A regional government has overlapping portfolios (fed/regional) isnt that a bureaucracy on its part?
