cluewebhost: 2.8 million a day would pay 100 people comfortably monthly. I didnt see up to 10 at the dredging site.pls stop replying them, but that money is too small shaa and the dredger in those areas are on lease, that money is only realistic if you own the dredger. The daily profit is still about 1m for an owner who is from the community. but about 600k for a company. the bigger the dredger, the more the money. do you know how much it cost to start such a buisness? (though not the issue) the bone of contention is: are people making such amount legitimately to be able to afford such outrageous rent? the answer is a big "yes". the day I saw the account balance of market revenue collectors, I nearly shit for floor and the fact that govt allows them to keep 20% is mind blowing. they dont even pay tax, dey remit based on assumed target, no precise calculation of number of stores and hangars. na yeye things dey give money for this country these days. |
TOKUGAWA: The funniest thing about the whole thing is that by the time the revolution starts, the whole estates shall be occupied by the unemployed youths and local militia leaders.By that time the real owners must have fled to Europe via Garua(Northern Eastern Cameroon),remember it happened in Cuba.you spend so much time dreaming please get to work. the house owners will flee to Europe and solicit the help of a superior military that will flush out the rebels. Northern Mali comes to mind, keep dreaming. |
don't mind him, most espensive land in my village is 150k. If i get dat money,i swear i will build standard 10bdrm flat. Useless city.
obsolete mentality, how much will you collect from a bank with your village house as collateral compared to a maitama or wuse house should your buisness go south? |
gerald09: I see abuja housing market about to crash. So many expensive houses in a city dangling from a thread. Most of these houses n estates are owned by civil servants n if every civil servant own a house n estates who will live in whose? Most of the houses and estates are empty cos it cost so much. Most people speculate dat abuja will be like lagos but its not possible majority of Lagos residence are into d private sector n Lagos is an industrious city, so the housing market will always be strong, Abuja is made up of 80% civil servant 10% are private but rely on d government to do business n the other 10% are purely private. Within d 80%, 10% own most of the expensive house in the city centre 20% own most of the houses in d suburb the other 70% rent houses from d suburb. For the other 20% in d private sector they rather buy houses @ d suburb. So then who leaves in these expensive houses in a city dangling from a thread?.renting is different from ownership, the people who rent are few the reason why most estates are empty, conversely, people who live outside Abuja still own properties there so the buying market is booming. Properties in Abj will collapse when the govt makes a conscious effort to check corruption, most of the properties will be confiscated and auctioned. |
AskProf: The list is about cars in current production... The Rolls Royce Silver Ghost production ended in 1926, only 7874 units were made.read the thread caption again |

bakynes: Lamborghini Veneno is the most expensive car in the world today selling for 4 million US dollars.you are joking right? 1931 bugatti Royale was auctioned for $9.7m |
craps! where is 1931 bugatti Royale? |
lertee: Do you understand English?are you menstruating? |
olamisegbe: Well, I see hope no matter whatyour grandfather and father were all hopeful so y not? |
lertee: Nigeria cannot be totally ruled out,our economy might not be as booming as south Africa's but we are far ahead in some other aspects. God bless Nigeria.in prayers you mean? economy grows by 7.5%, corruption grows by 30%, infrastructural decay grows by 20%. nepotism further sinks the political structure by another 10%. it is only a fool that will refer to this anomie of existence as a growth. I refuse to be bamboozled. |

6-1, 3-0, you need to feel sorry for the Mexicans thus says the commentator. |
Wahala90: please don't mind those non living things, they want to emasculate men of the world. tell them it is childish but it works. |
DailyNews: Yes, all male animals are created to be polygamous, and man happens to be a higher animal.seriously, do you really want ladies to cut you some social slack because you are born again? If i was a lady that has any intention of dating you, i will sincerely question that feeling. in the realistic world where common sense rules, you sound......... (no apologies). your justification for the African tradition going contrary to christian norms was a mere co incidence and yes in aboriginal African cultures there were level of immoralities that incurs the wrath of the gods with instant punishment which paints our present day Christianity in the light of leniency, from your posts above. you failed to realize that most oracles in the African customs will not let any impure man to serve them, (now purity in the eyes of an oracle however debatable) but the point is that, people had a way of life that is chaste and reflection of their traditions and it worked at the time. you can as well argue that people with sickle cell anemia who ended up in the evil forest or twins who were sacrificed were victims of barbarism when juxtaposed with what Christianity had to offer, yes i agree with you, but are we faring better with our present day Christianity? where super men of god leave their wards in penury while they live in opulence (argument for another day). The morality of the old is not comparable to what is obtainable today courtesy of our present day Christianity....fact. mass murderers like Adolf hitler, the Harold Urey and his colleagues at Columbia University Ernest Lawrence (who developed the nuke), kalashinikov, and lastly Dr robert Gallo who designed the Aids virus are all products of Christianity. these men alone have killed more human beings than any evil deeds of the past. I will like you to point to more facts why you think that Christianity threw in more morals than our fore fathers ever had. If you think i need "thou shalt not commit adultery" to be faithful to my wife, then your religious inclination has blinded you so deeply that you don't even know how the real world works. Our fore fathers never cheated even when Christianity was a mirage, Buddhist communities don't know Jesus either so you have no point with your conjectures up there. |
chukwudi44: SORRY NO DEALif Jesus the founder of Christianity selected peter as the head of the church, i expect the pope to chose his successor from his cardinals, where he cant, he must select from elsewhere, that is what Jesus did, except for some reasons, the Papacy believe they are smarter than Jesus, that should be taken as an insult. |
I took time to study most of the offshoots in Christianity and i found the roman catholic most interesting in terms of how their doctrines are close to what Jesus taught while still on earth, i cant categorically say that my research was elaborate or sacrosanct however, i find some part of their doctrines very insulting not because it is not biblical but the explanations given there in eludes common sense. A few of those are purgatory Mary as a spiritual mother The Papal Conclave. incense Should any Pope repeal these insults, i wont mind being a catholic priest to be in a position to convert others. |
mildteddy: I used to feel this way too, but I don't anymore. I see all this tribalistic and ethnocentric comments here as a form of distraction by people, who the other 70% percent of the citizens (the poor ones) of this country are looking for are looking for who to blame for their predicaments. It's not coincidental that easterners are the derided ones and thus the object of blames, afterall they were the 'defeated ones'. It will only be for a while, and then it'll pass.I feel a lot ok with the tribalistic rants, I blame people like you and some other posters with same opinion as you. its like seeing where kids are bickering over a mundane issue on the street what do you do? do you go to stop them or do you mind your buisness? that is what is expected of a sane mind not some unnecessary comments of how you are better or how much one should hate the forum or whatever the mods think about it. if you take time or energy to quote a tribalistic comment and expend more energy in commenting on it, then you are the m0r0n. any comment you dont fancy, you ignore completely that's what sane people do. |
9Willywilly: Buhari shot by himself infants and unarmed women, tied their hand and shot them, too much blood on his handbuhari or murtala mohammed in the Asaba massacre. which school did you attend? |
kokoye: Funny ...some women expect no reaction whatsoever from their husbands when they misbehave. But flip the coin and it's perfectly allowed.you dey mind bloody jobless house wives who know next to nothing what it takes to provide for five hungry mouths, they still think they are in their father's hut. |
latsholly: i quite agree wiv dis write up especially shoutin n naggin dat he is d head of d house. i wish my man reads dis.what do you normally do? |
hafi: Got this as a broadcast, would love to know those for the women folks......do you prefer to be beaten black and blue to the points above? truth is; some women don't deserve to be treated nicely, study your partner and utilize every method that bring results. Do you think that a matured woman will do what will make a man to exhibit the traits above? if the OP is a woman, so you want to be misbehaving at home while your hubby claps for you? call it immaturity or anything so long as it brings results, it remains a viable tool, if it is not ok by the OP, kindly relocate to your father's hut. |
oshyno: I cant believe i had to go through the whole write up. Irrespective of how engaging and sometimes utter trash soo many of them sounded , I wud want to draw one thing here : It seems most of these Americana ( in the voice of Chimamanda Adichie ) looks at Nigeria as a shithole where one cant make it.You don't need to be an Americana to know that Naija is a shit hole |
A degree or post-secondary diploma in a relevant field is an important prerequisite for most quality control and inspection roles. Consider fields such as engineering, petroleum technology, health, safety and environmental sciences. In many cases, individuals begin their work in some other occupation, like engineering, and move into these jobs after gaining an in-depth understanding of the business. Others may decide that this is their primary interest area and look for entry-level jobs in specialized quality control and inspection companies. Certifications pertaining to boilers and pressure vessels, non-destructive testing or welding inspection are often required for those specializations. Some jobs may require certification in confined space entry. A valid driver's license along with a safe driving record is also needed. |
warrior01: keep quiet as you're the ignorant one here. Which India are you talking about? The one in Asian or in Mass? ![]() |
Lilimax: I said it the other day a Nigerian was killed in India, who will fight for the liliputins called nigerians, you? |
ighoosagie: make coach Ali Doustimehr apologize for his comment.our reputation precede us, but the Iranian coach is a stark illiterate |
Does he use his crutches on the brakes. There is no argument here. Even experts recommend that you do not drive in heels. Do we still do it? Of course because it is part of what we wear every single day. It is not recommended.
funny. |
Olastep1: ...lol10yrs down the road Uganda will start deporting Nigerians, by the way, who is helping Nigeria fight corruption? |
Pattey: Instead of addressing facts raised earlier, you choose to face ur gender; whining about being male and not female. It only proves you're a worthless "disgrace of male" that should have been born as an invalid rather than being a disgrace to manhood! Infact, ANY little girl is 10 times better than you in intellect even as you are a full-grown slowpoke!what is the difference between gworo and carrot? |
