What do you mean going back to Egypt? you mean you are not experiencing the hunger in the land and insecurity everywhere. Maybe you and your household are benefiting from this current government at the detriment of other Nigerians.
Economically, this government scored F9. To be honest with you, a lot of people trusted that Buhari will perform well, especially economically and that is why he was voted, but behold, it turns out to be opposite of what Nigerians expected.
If Buhari is performing well especially in terms of Economy, believe me, Nigerians will have a great regards for him, including my self!.
You think the Charlatans that moved from PDP to APC and back will put food on your table? You guys are hopelessly gullible.
Saraki helped APC get to power no doubt, but does he deserve anything special despite his loyalty being with PDP?
Please Saraki is still APC chanting PDP, he never leaves with two legs, trust me.

ItsMeAboki:
The alleged looting was a fallacy; those who took over immediately after him happened to be his arch enemies ( Abdulsalam Abubakar, who was about to be sacked by Abacha and OBJ who was jailed by him) they simply set out to frame him, and of course as a dead person he couldn't come back and defend himself.

However, those in the supreme military council e.g. Jeremaih Useini, General Bameyi (incidentally jailed by Abacha) etc. had come out and clarified that it was a collective decision taken by them, (in the SMC) to stash away the money (as part of our foreign reserves) in secret accounts from the risk of being frozen by hostile international sanctions against the then military regime - as it happened to Libya under Gaddafi.

Just for your enlightenment, Abacha was not answerable to the SMC, it was the other way round, if in doubt, go and watch all the Oputa panel videos, If you were not a child then, you should be familiar with one of Nigeria's famous political lexicon of the Abacha era, "Oga, permit me to speak, you can't be wrong, even if you are wrong, you are right and we are wrong"
coming from the second highest ranking officer of the SMC, in view of that, there was no way abacha would consult the SMC before stashing away money.
Abacha could kill any member of the SMC for as little as sneezing, if in doubt ask Gen. Adisa and the weeping General. Oladipo diya.

The money was stashed in his name not Nigeria's, you don't keep a country's wealth in your personal account.
While evading intl sanctions if that was the reason as you eroneously believed, your personal account is the first target while a UNSC resolution only can target a country's account as the case of Libya.

Im sure you know that the regime members of North Korea all have their personal accounts frozen in the west, but the country's account is yet to be frozen despite being under heavy sanctions.

What you just regurgitated was the cheap lies he told few members of his administration with integrity like Buhari.
Unfortunately, Buhari like you till date, still believe that hogwash.

During the Abacha regime, Nigeria was in words and actions the true African leader. Throughout his time as head of state, Abacha never travelled outside Africa, perhaps to give effect to Nigeria’s Africa-centred foreign policy. The World Council of Mayors was hosted here in Abuja for the first and only time. Pope John Paul II was here on state visit. Nigeria was president of the UN Security Council during Abacha when the obnoxious apartheid policy of the minority white regime in South Africa was dismantled. For the first time in the history of Africa also, Abacha reversed a coup d’état and re-installed the overthrown democratically elected President Tejan Kabbah in Sierra Leone, when Nigeria’s General Maxwell Khobe successfully flushed out the Paul Koroma junta there. Nobody joked with Nigeria. Nigeria was well respected by all.

You seem to be the only one that doesn't know Nigeria was under sanctions during the Abacha Junta.

akelicious:
Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) says it will lead the South East and South South geo-political zones to boycott the 2019 elections, stressing that it is the only way to set the poor Nigerian masses free.

It stated that participating in the country’s electoral process had become counter-productive, with the permanent voter’s card (PVC) becoming a tool of enslavement. In a statement issued on Wednesday by its Secretary, Media and Publicity, Emma Powerful, the pro-Biafra group warned that campaigning for votes in the two zones next year would amount to sheer waste of time.

Reviewing what it described as the “disgraceful charade that passed as Ekiti State governorship election ai the weekend”, IPOB said voting in Nigeria under the present political arrangement “is meaningless.”

The statement read in part: “Under the current electoral conditions in Nigeria, PVC has transmuted from a supposedly potent object of freedom to one of bondage. IPOB worldwide, therefore, restates categorically and for purposes of clarity that it would boycott all elections in Nigeria come 2019.

“Presidential elections next year will afford IPOB an opportunity to demonstrate its cast iron determination to set Biafra free by totally shutting down South East and South South regions.

“Anybody campaigning, seeking or hoping to get IPOB to participate in any election is wasting his time.“Should other parts of Nigeria wish to continue living in denial and keep participating in what is essentially an organised fraud, then they are welcome to do so. South East and South South will not vote and will not be part of it.

“By going out to vote, instead of demanding their freedom, the masses are only helping tyrants legalise rigging and electoral fraud. What people are doing by voting is willingly and legally renewing their pain and suffering every four years.”

Restating its stance on self-determination, IPOB expressed regret that some South East, South South and Middle Belt leaders were still calling for restructuring, instead of asking for referendum before 2019.“How would South East and South South want to participate in an election where INEC chairman and the director of operations are Fulani, and where the number of under-age voters in Kano is more than all eligible voters of South East and South South zones?” it queried.

meanwhile Obj recommended Yaradua, he died in office leaving us with a constitutional lacuna aka doctrine of necessity. His defense was that he didn't check his medical records despite staying off duty for years as Katsina governor.

He recommended Jonathan, he said Jonathan is a failure.

He tacitly recommended Buhari, he said Buhari has failed.

Anybody he recommends again is the direction of failure, I will vote in the opposite direction of his recommendation.

Politics › Re: Enugu Airport Most Embarrassing In The World – Senator Egwu by jpphilips(m): 8:25pm On Jul 12, 2018
F0RTRAN:
The Senator representing Ebonyi North senatorial district, Sam Egwu has described the condition of Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, as the most embarrassing among its peers in the world.

In a debate on the airport which was sponsored by Senator Chukwuka Utazi on Thursday, Egwu lamented that the airport which serves the people of the South East, South-South and North-Central has been left in a dangerously dilapidated condition.

He explained that the Ethiopian Airlines, an international air outfit which uses the airport, have often complained of dilapidated runways which they have appealed to the authority for repairs.

Enyinnaya Abaribe representing Abia Central senatorial district, called for investigation of the contractor that handled former repairs works on the airport, stating that it was unlikely that repairs were carried out during the last administration.

Senate Deputy Leader, Bala Ibn Na’allah posited that the Enugu Airport was technically unsafe for landing. He explained that any airport which has a bad runway could damage the engine of an aircraft.

“When you say an airport is technically unsafe, it takes into account demonstrated capacity of the runways,” he said.

Barnabas Gemade representing Benue Southwest, on his part, said it was late to include the airport in the budget, noting that Senator Chukwuka Utazi ought to have brought up the issue prior to the planning of the budget. He however called for supplementary budget in that regard.

Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu revealed that Ethiopian aircraft lost tyres on two occasions while landing at the airport, and they stopped their operations there.

He added that other international airlines were not forthcoming despite its international status due to the condition of the airport.

The Senate then adopted the resolution, calling on the federal government to resurface and reconstruct the runway of the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu.
