Fat Kim will not attack anyone let alone a nuclear strike, the US security chiefs are only trying to spook him to make the first mistake. Though a spoilt brat, I think he will not dare incur the wrath of Mcmaster and mad dog mattis combined.
The defense apparatchik of the United States under Donald trump is controlled by battle hardened, experience laden, blood sucking warmongers, people whose profile shock the devil himself, if fat kim feels he has what it takes to dare the devil, then good luck to him.
Make no mistakes, a combo of McMaster (26 exceptional military service decorations, commander of operation restoring rights in the battle of Tal Afar) and mad dog mattis ( nickname " Chaos", 16 military service decorations and the Hero of the battle of Fallujah) is deadly.

President Xi of China is already with the US in shutting down the NK economy using targeted social and economic sanctions, before now, there used to be concerns of refugees pouring through the Korea Chinese border hence the Chinese cold feet, presently with a sweet trade deal promised China during President Xi last visit to the Mar A Lago resort florida, Xi has sent troops to the Korea border to forestall that eventuality.

With fat Kim preoccupied with social unrest triggered by international and neighboring sanctions, it is unlikely that Kim will make out time for nuclear tests let alone a strike.
Should he decide to be stup!d, what are Kim's options? it is unclear if Kim's nuclear capability is ICBM capable, experts agree that a long range nuclear capable NK will not be feasible till around 2020, so the issue of hitting the US west coast is very unlikely, even if he does that, the US Thaad air defence system will gladly intercept it at high altitude minimizing possible nuclear fall out effects, with mere 20 nukes in NK stockpile, the THAAD batteries will be able to take them out effectively with minimal damage. The resultant US response will be so devastating that fat kim will regret not coming to this life, bearing in mind that the UN has a standing mandate that requires every member state to defend her territorial integrity with which ever means necessary from external aggression, with a crazy Donald at the helm of affairs in the US, I will not do that if I were fat kim.

If Kim doesn't hit the US, his two likely options that will provoke the US are Japan and South Korea, for this possibility, the US however warmongering they appear on the issue will never strike Korea first but will continue provoking Kim hoping he will make a mistake.
The US has already commissioned a THAAD for SK and the Patriot for Japan so a direct hit on these countries will be least effective. An attempted strike on either countries will give the US an excuse annihilate fat Kim, already the battle tested USS Carl VInson strike group is already conducting drills off the Korean peninsula with Japanese Destroyers, what mad Dog Mattis is yet to report is that the Carl Vinson is escorted also by an Ohio class nuclear capable submarine, that is the surprise that will meet Pyongyang if he choses a nuclear option.

The US has 28,500 soldiers & Armaments stationed in South Korea and another 50,000 in Japan, with the 7th fleet and the Carl Vinson strike group (3rd fleet) off the Korean peninsula, fat kim has everything to lose if he choses to be stup!d.
Currently, the US is taking out his weapons test programmes using a form of strange EMP, that capability may be lost if NK decide to conduct further tests underground. Should they conduct another underground Missile test next month, it is unlikely the US will respond with a strike, underground test can only enable scientists make modifications on thermometric parameters, it is unlikely NK will get enough range data with an underground test. The US shouldn't be worried about that.

What are the likely reactions of North Korea's allies should either party strike? The only international & UNSC ally of NK is China, with China already concerned about the military build up in the Peninsula, the risk of a Nuclear fall out inside her territory, mass migration of refugees in and out of China from NK, president Xi as concerned as trump, with his visit to florida and Mike pence's to Beijing, it is unlikely China will fight for NK.

China has long wanted to be the only Nuclear super power in South Asia, a Nuclear capable North korea threatens that ambition, also President Xi still savours good trade deals with the US, these ambitions may likely push China to make fat Kim a fall guy.
Like Syria, Russia and Iran will likely sell weapons while the conflict last, no direct confrontation is expected.

ITbomb:
It is obvious

Southern Cameroun is presently under Internet blackdown by the repressive Central French speaking government.

Mind you, the S. Cameroun was a part of present day Biafra region before the took off to join the French speaking side after they had an early independent.

Southern Cameroun is under serious marginalization because they speak English and are considered not being part of the struggle for independence.

The best choice is for them to align with IPOB and move the struggle together on international platform.
But IPOB should be careful cos taking in S. Cameroun means making a new powerful enemy - France.
Since the IPOB stup!dity has gone international, it is time to enlighten our home grown id!ots of likely possibilities.

first, southern Cameroon recently swell their ranks with the influx of Ex Nigerians in the Bakassi peninsula.

That peninsular is the official territory of Cameroon in an international court brokered peace, which is in part a French Economic zone by the Pact coloniele agreement.

let me quickly remind IPOB that France is a permanent member of the UN security council (where your fate will be decided by the way), A NATO member, A duo nuclear power, the 6th best military in the world and above all, a c0ck ally of the United States, balakanizing a French economic zone has no history of success, it will not start with IPOB.

France is the only colonial power that retained his economic hegemony despite independence, yet the whole world did not cough.
If you are unsure what France is capable of regarding rebels who balkanise her economic interest, go and ask the red beards of the Tuareg rebels when they sort independence from Mali.

With this development, IPOB has just touched the tail of a Tiger, IPOb has declared war with Nigeria, France and Cameroon.
I have just one advise for IPOB, may your souls rest in peace.

Politics › Re: A Must Read; Views Of Our Founding Fathers On Our Unity And Togetherness by jpphilips(m): 8:52am On Apr 22, 2017
lightblazingnow:
Alhaji Tafawa Balewa – 1948 • “Since 1914, the British Government have been trying to make Nigeria into one Country but the Nigerian people are historically different in their background, in their religious beliefs and customs, and do not show themselves any signs of willingness to unite …… Nigerian unity is only a British invention (imagination)”. Alhaji Tafawa Balewa became Nigeria’s first and ever Prime Minister and one of the leading icons of our independence

Chief Obafemi Awolowo “Nigeria is not a nation. It is a mere geographical expression. There are no “Nigerians” in the same sense as there are “English”, “Welsh”, or “French”. The word “Nigerian” is merely a distinctive appellation to distinguish between those who live within the boundaries of Nigeria and those who do not”. Chief Obafemi Awolowo became the first Premier of Western Region of Nigeria and a dominant political influence in the region and Nigeria. Nigeria; a nation founded on fear, doubt and mistrust.

A nation state is the progressive and evolutionary journey of the faith, vision, dream and values of their founding fathers. What Nigeria is today cannot be divorced from the faith and conviction of her founding leaders. The leading icons of our independence saw tribe, ethnicity and sectionalism but invariably did not see the possibility of a strong, virile and united nation.

What they saw of our differences was difficulties and complexities but missed the glorious picture of the limitless opportunities and promises of our diversities. They forged a nation they did not believe in and laid the foundation of a Nigerian state without a sovereign national will. In so doing, laid a national foundation based on sentiments, emotions and chance rather than principles and authoritative vision for national cohesion and transformation.

What our fathers had is what they gave the nation, perhaps given the time and circumstance. Our search for a true Nigerian state must begin from here. Our past is essential to determine why we are where we are. But what will decide our future is not what our fathers did or did not do. It is what our own generation determine to see, believe and fight for, especially at this defining moment of our history.

We cannot continue to see Nigeria from the selfish and narrow lenses of personal, ethnic, religious and sectional advantage and expect a glorious new era of national transformation and collective advancement. A new Nigeria defined by a common national spirit, character and vision is our responsibility. It is now or never.

America is an example of a heterogeneous society made up of the Irish Americans, Caucasians, Afro-Americans, Mexican Americans, Christians, Moslems, free thinkers. Yet united, advanced and made strong by a common and over-ridding national ideological values. They found both personal and collective meaning and strength in the timeless ideological truth of their collective equality and inalienable right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.

The root cause of our national challenge is not in our over exaggerated religious, tribal and ethnic affections but our selfishness and absolute lack of principles. There is a fundamental problem when we allow our parochial considerations assume and command our allegiances over our national consciousness. Whatever gives us undue advantage over others will never establish our collective faith, trust and hope. Our challenge is the penchant for undue reward and benefit of opportunism, mediocrity and nepotism. The resultant delusion is everyone seeking for a “one Nigeria” yet hardly is anyone willing to give up his or her allegiance and commitment to his or her religion, tribe, ethnicity and socio-cultural affiliations. We all desire a progressive nation yet no body is prepared to give up the destructive and unjust reward of nepotism and sectionalism for merit, honor and hard work. This is Nigeria’s dilemma.

No one fights for a nation he or she does not believe in. The foundation of every nation’s civilization, development and greatness is the content of what the people hold as sacrosanct. What is fundamental to a people is what defines and determines their collective character, motivation and resolve. This is what makes them a people and what gives character and authenticity to their developmental quest. It is what gives a soul to a nation and a sense of pride to the people. Nationalism is neither legislated nor a matter of mere national orientation. Nationalism is a product of personal love and passion for one’s nation inspired by genuine relationship, trust and faith based on personal conviction and experience. Life begets life.

In every generation the people have deep seated yearnings and aspirations which cry out for fulfillment. Today, what will determine Nigeria’s destiny is not mere promises of electricity, roads and houses (as important as they are) but identity and self meaning. The reason roads and houses are still an issue after 52 years of our independence is simply because we are yet to have a nation beyond a mere geographical expression.

What a new generation of Nigerians yearns for today is a nation they would call their own; a nation to live for and if possible die for. Today’s generation of Nigerians yearn for something to believe in and to aspire for. It is unarguable that a people’s sovereignty is not in the quantum of electricity, roads and houses but a right to self determination and realization. It takes identity and sense of birth right to establish a people’s fundamental essence and character.

The battle against mistrust, apathy, corruption, insecurity and indiscipline that currently bedevils Nigeria and Nigerians cannot be won by the Army or Police, EFCC or ICPC. But by our sense of fundamentality and inner security produced by our collective sense of heritage, belonging and faith. A people will not only fight and defend their birth right but live for and if possible die for the interest of a nation they believe in.

We are largely incapable of responsibility as a people, because devoid of inner force of life, we are without strength of character. For life to have meaning, standard and motivation a people must have a fundamental sense of self value and purpose. When life is motivated by what we believe in motivation becomes a matter of character. Nationalism is neither legislated nor wished, nationalism is a matter of experience, conviction and love for one’s nation.

Allow the true Light burning sun in you to make our country a more better place for you and your generations. You had better contribute to nations building instead of division.

Long live Nigerians
Long live Nigeria
Long live good leadership

Long live me and our efforts

..... brilliant post so far. But will the nepotist that litters this forum see sense in the tweet? However, functioning on a full regional system will solve the problem to a certain point. It means that each region will push the best brain to top in other to compete favorably with other regions. No region will love to be stuck behind, on like what is obtainable today. So don't cancel out-rightly the agitation for regionalism.
Even the so called regional system is part of the unintelligent solutions brandished about by individuals with little or no clue how the real world works.
Havent we practiced regional government before? Did it stop the massive corruption scandal of the western region in 1965?
Didn't you hear that the Kaduna Nzeogwu coup was motivated by wide spread corruption in the polity at the time? Was Nigeria not under regional governance then?

The solution to Nigeria's problem is Meritocracy.
A system of administration where you are defined not by your tribe but the contents of your head and character.
Under such administration, there will be no room for a militant that cant spell his name to have a say in the national polity.
If we do things by merit, we know the two tribes that will hijack every facet of our economy by default.

otherwise, this clown would not have gone as far as he has
You are missing the point here, many regions feel cheated because of their contribution to nation building while some regions benefit while giving nothing.

That is the basis of most unintelligent agitations thus experienced so far in most regions, the problem I have is that they don't have a realistic solution to the problem, some say division will solve it, some want a Republic, some want true federalism while others said its resource control.

All these unintelligent postulations are unrealistic however there is one solution to the problem, merit.

if we design our systems in a way that enthrones merit above nepotism, other regions will have no choice that to work hard.

Quota system is a form of Socialism, no country in the world has succeeded with such.
