Bros you still didn't get me do you?

Make a snap shot giving a breakdown of your fare.

Uber usually sends receipt showing amount, time, distance and waiting time included in your ticket. Bolt does likewise. Check and lets compare.

Thank you Sir.
Nwizu042 has noticed it.

Other smart people have noticed the increase in fare.

Some blind leader of the blind wont see it.

Uber has slightly add 300naira on each trip, meaning if you do 10 trips, probably 3000nira.

Can you explain this, 900/1000 naira trip, including traffic in that gbagada road.

Now that same trip is now 1300/1400 minus traffic, with no surge.

what has change?

I've waited like for ever to see your dashboard earnings, all you post is that of your drivers, their names and faces. How disrespectful and unholy you are and you call yourself a business man with integrity. May God help you
This will be my 3rd and final week doing uber, we are in Mber months, forget curfew, trip is now back to back plus surge.

During mber months, there is high rate of movement in Lagos, plus school openings and international airport opening, my rent will be increased starting next week

Oga its increase is due to time spent on the trip and not because of the increment on fare. The fare rates are still d same.

Even a cripple knows they need more time to arrive at their destination in Lagos presently compare to 1,2,3,4 years back.

.
This particular trip, i have been paying 900naira for my son, despite traffic because of the road construction, but now they have finished road construction, the road is free and the fee is constantly 1300 without traffic.

I noticed this on Bolt the morning, wetin they mean?
They have increased their rate by more than 20% without notifying the public, you have to be very observant to notice the 300naira increase.

This trip use to be 900 to 1100, but bolt is doing it 1050, to 1250, uber is slightly higher.

In times of price increase if you make public announcement, it make some passengers to be on the run.

But when slashing the price, you need to draw the public attention.

You see Buhari, when petrol price slash to 125, presidency announced it and claim to approve it.

But ever since fuel is increasing ppmc abi what is it called announced it.

You should learn to be at peace with yourself first den u will be at peace with the world, learn to respect other people opinion and feelings no matter how weird it may sound it is how the know how to express, there is no one born of man that can ever be perfect and all knowing.
Not every finger is equal and also not every one is equal.
Why I told them to ignore u is becoz una don fight tire 4 this group and it is demeaning the group.
That i have a different opinion about u, doesn't mean i dont respect what u r saying.

What u guys are saying doesn't sound weird to me, transport business is a battle field, you can tag it drivers swallow owners, then passengers swallow drivers.

You saying I'm not peace with myself because i have a different opinion, well i see it as one of those negative attacks.

Drivers on rental will take it with even 1,500.

They need to meet up with their high target.

Naso yesterday I got request on boltscam around Gbagada, I quickly drove to pu to my greatest surprise I saw five riders 3 guys and 2 chubby ladies.

R. Oga we be 5 oh
M. I can’t carry 5 Na 3 be max
R. One of dem don talk say let’s cancel Jaare we took Taxify yesterday all of us and he no complain.
M. I’ll help you cancel here (naso I reverse slide arrive and cancel after 5mins) this people are going to ajah the trip of 5k+ which I Haven't gross 3k by that time.

But another driver came right their carry 5 of them with ac and zoom pass where I parked.

No union in this game everybody just Dey do anyhow.

One Uber guy will still carry that load wey you refused shameless idiot.
Is not about weekly rental, uber/bolt will always supply u trip that we make u meet up ur weekly rental. Is about common sense.

Driver risk been arrested and vehicle impounded, and if such happens i will make sure the ipo is present in court to testify against the driver, be it my own car.

Reasonable riders will request 2 cars.

One of my driver once follow BRT lane, he was arrested, he claim passenger pressure him to follow brt lane, i insist passenger must also be arrested for been an accomplice, we went after the passenger and he got arrested also, i file a bond retrieve my car, and even help drive the police to court to serve as a witness.

Angryigbodon always have my biggest respect, i like his bluntness, he is a smart businessman.

I am on his side for rejecting the load, the rider try to manipulate the system, looking 4 cheaper way out, but he put him in his place, i only disagree with him laying curse on the rider.

As for ur blood brother Mr Moove/Felicity0001 u both are the same. If this people tell u stop, start running, they are looking 4 people they will send back to thw village?

How can we be sane with this ridiculous fee? I just bought petrol today. My chest heavy no be small 4K fuel is now like 3k of then.
When i saw this at first, i believed it, then i sit down and calculate, then i realize it was pure lies and highly exaggerated.

Drivers use between 100 to 150liters of fuel weekly. So i will go for 150liters.

150x148=22200 (old rate)
150x160=24k (New rate)

So the extra fee a driver will spend for the fuel highest 1800. So he should be able to bear it, car owner is not Buhari.

Spare parts has increased more than 50% in prices, car price have skyrocketed.

What am i trying to say, if any driver comes up with fuel has increased, we are unable to meet up the rental, withdrawal ur car immediately.

Another thing drivers don't know, uber/bolt has tactically increased their fare, without making it public.

I use to book uber from ogudu to Corona school gbagada, sometimes twice a week for my sons training.

The fare use to be between 900 to 1100, but now is between 1100 to 1400.

You won't notice the fare increase, except u r the passenger.

A rider I carried last 2 week wants me to take her to Kwara State next week.

Two options, with my car or we use her's

Pls guys how much do you think is reasonable for either of the option.

Appreciate your inputs.

Many thanks
This guy na king of interstate offline.

The same person that says he doesn't do offline within Lagos, have mind to take a rider to Kwara,
Was caught using owners car to Benin, and still bring owner his 10k weekly.

You see why i don't believe drivers stories.

They will always say their story in a way it will favour them.

Angryigbodon is calling a rider that want to find cheapest way to carry his load to lekki evil. Swearing on the riders head. Well the rider did no wrong, just reject his idea and move.

I had a strange experience today. I brought fuel while on a trip this morning and to my suprise, my rider collected money for the six minutes spent therein.
She asked how much and i responded its just 60 naira; she exclaimed what( with that expression as in too small)
But lo&behold, she collected the 60 naira cash from me.
It is well o.
This are the rider peeps4u want uber to increase their fair.

Economy downturn will take down alot of small business owners like us, if we are not tough or careful.

Corolla i import from America for 220 naira per dollar during GeJ, then i was enjoying 50k rental while i bought the car cheap.

Today i bought the car much expensive with dollar rate at 465, then maintenance is also expensive, then rental is low.

Have you ever think about this, that owner you're presently driving his car with low rental fee might not be able to buy another one? Or even have money to fix the car when it requires high volume of maintenance.

Then you will move on and find another car.

You're right. Just like owners were withdrawing their cars from drivers that couldn't meet up with 40/35k those years. Sebi they have found drivers that are still remitting 40/35k now.
Govt isn't responsible for Uberbolt still maintaining the ridiculous, it is chiefly an act of exploitation from Uberbolt because they care less about the cara on their platform.

We keep lowering the standard because we cant demand for a better fare that's in tandem with present economic realities in our country. Gradually, the era of 30k weekly remitrance is gradually fading away. Very soon, we will start debating about 25-15k weekly remittance.

You talk about withdrawing your cars from the platform or drivers as If you're doing people favour with your cars being on the platform. If the business isn't lucrative, would you have invested in it?
Whatever happens to ehailing sector that makes you eventually withdraw your cars means one source of revenue blocked for you. Take it or leave it.
If you think low fare doesn't affect you, I dare you to ask for 40-35k remittance like the good old days. Can you? That's is the aftermath of low fares on everyone.
I do no one a favour, I'm in for strictly business.

People i started this business with, have sold off their cars and move, when they were taken low weekly rental, i warn them on the long run, is not sustainable. That same car will grow old within 1year/6months, they thought i was too harsh and greedy.

During lockdown i withdraw all my cars, i can't do low rental fee.

Today my fleet is growing, call me evil, i don't care, all i am trying to do is survive in this harsh business environment.

When the monday protest was announced last week on this thread, some so called partners who claim to have 100 cars said Uberbolt dont owe any driver anything that anyone who isn't satisfied should opt out oo ehailing?

How reasonable can someone who claims to be a partner in this business be when he/she feels unconcerned about Uberbolt pricing?

If fair remains like this and fuel prices and other things keep going up, drivers will not be able to remit rhe 25/30k again. Abi we expect drivers not to have anything to himself or even balance up the weekly remittance from his pocket?
I will not hesitate to withdraw my vehicle from driver that cannot meet up my 27k rent. We are all in this suffering together.

Uber/Bolt are business entities, they force no one to join their platforms.

Go and protest against the government u vote into power, not channeling ur energy against corporations that has nothing to do with government.

You're with uber/bolt bc they can give u passengers, the day they are unable to give you passengers u will say goodbye to them, when they call u to come and drive 4 them, na swear u go give them.

More than 4 drivers have called me this morning, looking 4 uber car, they are all offering 30k a week rent.

Claiming market has improved, they are ready to work for me.

You see why drivers reject posting their earnings, even when i offer 10k weekly for the highest earner? Rather than see it as a good will from the bottom of my heart, they're attacking me.

The Hon. Com of transport in Lagos had just confirmed that the vehicle tag has been scrabbed by the governor since the HECKNEY permit is there so no need for vehicle tag.

So no more vehicle tag.

But the body badge or what ever it's called is compulsory and the ehailing company should provide one for every of it's drivers.
There is a lawsuit against eko government, for vehicle tag or whatever, is more like multiplication of vehicle identification.

Eko understand they might likely loose in court, maybe reason for the withdrawal.

Drivers union should go to court, if they want to challenge those new multiple identification of drivers.

Alot of unlawful activities going on with Eko officials, if ur fundamental right has been violated go to court, you might get judgment within 3months.

But when it comes to some things like health and some other few things, can you have just little, maybe 0.1% empathy? 'Cos i see none in every of your comments.
Well i didn't say you don't have that for your drivers. Don't get it wrong.

I like your approach to business though, you're good.
Is not easy for everybody, managing your cars alone can be very hectic.

Sometimes i get super tired and frustrated doing it. I spent last week in court, if fixing comes up, i do it myself.

Any repairs i drive straight to ladipo get the parts come back and fix it. For the past 3 weeks i drove with uber to understand what the current market is.

B4 i start transport business, i traveled to America to work my ass off, i couldn't spend up to 2months, i run back to Nigeria, they will give you hip of plate to wash, you go wash tire.

Is better i put in enough efforts now that am young, is it when i am old i will start working hard? If i can't workhard to give my children the best, and plan my retirement when will i?

Kindly post your DETAILED dashboard that includes all activities to encourage or discourage driver/owner partners. Nothing is wrong if you post all details including the gross, net, time spent online, time spent driving, times you sleep on Lekki roads, how you stay out of your house Mon-Fri, how your car turns to your duplex. This to me, is the best way to encourage/discourage. With this, newbies/owners will have clear picture of what this hustle is all about. Is really crazy out there guys. Let us all watch out for our health. Kudos to driver/owner partners. Wish us great testimony this week. 1luv!
Car turning to Duplex is mostly for drivers that live in ikorodu or sango ota. If u live within the city you will go home.
