IGP should be called upon to implement the "no work no pay" rule on any officer that fails to show up at work.

We asked them to endsars and police brutality not to stop work.

Some people need to be made scapegoats.
No mind police, they intentionally withdraw themselves from policing, so we should know how important they're, but that doesn't take away the criminality, the police brutality, the turning case against complaints, that is common in Nigeria

That app can kill you this period...

But honestly, some riders have lost their conscience, you offered ridiculous amount, driver picked hoping it would be a smooth ride without traffic then you encounter heavy traffic that took you 2hrs+ on 30mins journey then you paid the ridiculous amount you offered without tipping the driver for the traffic.

Chai, felt so pained today, wasted resources and energy...

Where is the evidence of the invitation?
You dont need to be c in c to invite in the military.

Sanwo olu invited them, to help, why he keep denying is what i don't understand.

Those soldiers has to use force, if not lekki protesters ain't going no where.

Did you include the ones whose bodies soldiers went away with and hid or buried?

Don't worry, US, UK and EU are all interested in this case and when they are ready for you idiots, no stone will be left unturned and all the perpetrators will be brought to book.

Also, what about all the missing people who were last seen at the lekki toll gate before the shooting, they suddenly vanished?

These fools must think they're in 1920. If these people can deny something the whole world saw with overwhelming proof, then I wonder what they must've done during the civil war and in the north east that they're hiding.
The first picture, 3 of them have accident a day b4 the shooting.

The second picture was a movie scene.

Conscience is an open wound, until truth can heal it.

I am beginning to believe that the use of soldiers instead of riot policemen to disperse protesters who were disobeying lawful curfew at Lekki Tollgate may be wrong but the impression that masaccre and genocide happened was a big lie. There is no way trained soldiers would have shot directly at scampering protesters without the Lekki Tollgate being littered with corpses. Yes, the soldiers used maximum force but they obviously shot to scare and disperse and not to masaccre as emotional social media hype conveyed.

Truth will set you free and it doesn't matter if you are rightly an angry youth. I haven't seen any evidence that somebody died at the Tollgate the night of 20.10.20 to warrant the hype of massacre or genocide.

29.10.20 was neither a massacre nor a genocide but an unnecessary use of military rather than riot police to disperse resolute protesters.
Thank you.

2nd, like weightless stated, I got a "cheap" car 03 corolla on HP at a price of <N1.6m for 16months payment time with a millage of 168000miles.

3rd, God provided money miraculously and was able to make a DP of N100k. Within 2months I've already paid more than 400k. Current millage 176000miles.

@jpworld the rep, your previous Honda civic I used came with 168000miles and I dropped it at 172000miles. Now do the maths yourself, 7months vs roughly 8weeks. I never cross ojodu Berger bridge yet oh.

Good luck.
Odometer roll back is common in Nigerian used cars, that Honda that is 168k miles is tokunbo and that is the original miles.

Your concern should be the custom papers to know how long it has been used in Nigeria.

Better don't take that car to Benin, the engine will die quickly.

People are different, if they dont feel they are entitled to so many things they will be fine and felicity might actually surprise you if given the chance because if u look at it 15k can be made in 3days if things are good for you that week and 60k can be made in 2weeks if u are serious.
Now becoz the money is small there will not be work load on both the car and the driver, so he will have time to take care of both himself and the car.
Actually 30k can be made in 2days Saturday/Sunday.

Your friend has invested wisely, if those cars he bought for 500k each work perfectly with less down time.

You keep saying there will not be work load on the car, but you refuse to say a word, when i mention Felicity0001 as example.

I will repeat it again, car rental was 10k weekly, for 2weeks. During that 2weeks car was taken to Ondo/Benin 5times.

You see human nature is to acquire more. That is why some greedy people manipulate the system, there was a time lockito was popular among uber drivers, but uber started deactivating account over it, as car owner you need to block every lockito driver comes up with to succeed in this business.

Beside the tokunbo ppl buy most hv run across different countries not even states. Always give valid points, free felicity0001 for us nobody is perfect.
Yes is abuse of rental fee, as a driver will you gladly drive me to Benin for 5000naira? But you will gladly accept 5000 naira to drive me to Epe.

You expect owner to give out cars for 30k, then you use the car to PH and Maiduguri.

If you ask him why he collect that small money, he will tell you that people will always take care of things dey know dey can easily afford and will not give them stress.
Infact the guy is into the money than people buying Corolla 2.3million, and collecting 30k weekly.

If he use 2million to buy 4 cars at 500k each.

He will make 60k weekly while someone with Corolla of 2.3million is struggling with 30k.

Where did you get this from, people will take care of things they can easily afford, on the contrary it is what you cannot afford you take care of better.

That thing that look cheap to you will be rough handled.

Felicity0001 never take care of the car giving to him for 10k, he was using it to run interstate, so don't use people will take

I have a good friend before before he left nigeria last yr finally, he buys cars for cheap amount and give people for hp to pay 15k a week or 60k a month for the next 2yrs plus and he makes his moni back in 1yr plus.
You will be responsible for the car maintenance nd fixes.
60k x12 = 720k. He has made money in less than a year, meaning the car he bought is between 400k to 600k.

Is good you mention cheap cars, as a businessman i will be more than Happy to see a car 4 uber for 500k, i will gladly take 15k a week, with the driver doing maintenance, and in 1 year i make gain, the second year extra gain.

The problem here is 80% drivers don't want those cheap cars, infact u will beg them to remain with u, and when it comes to that, drivers will start giving you condition.

Mr felicity, it still doesn’t make sense. You are trying to hide behind the protest while you are still making money. 20k for an offline trip (No commission) and u still plan not to pay car owner at the end of the week? That’s simply wrong. When we see wrong thing, make we Dey talk am.

Most times, drivers here make it look as if driving the the hardest thing to do in this country. Which work is easy? Which investment isn’t risky? In Lagos, if you don’t put effort towards whatever you do, u might fold. In driving, hard work is spending more time online.

The lastma that disturbs drivers are also the Lassa and council that disturbs shop owners.

Protest isn’t an excuse to default Payment!

Police can only take you to court for criminal matters. Police have no business with civil matter.

Let me give you an example, landlord cannot call police for tenant, for not paying rent, landlord can only go to court for such matter.

You can sue an individual in court for civil matter.

Felicity0001:
False!!!

Let driver report the case to the police stating everything that happened, police will arrest the owner and take the car to station, owner will bail himself then let the complainant ask the IPO to charge the case to court i.e if the DPO is unable to settle the matter amicably. Im very certain court will rule in favor of thw driver provided he hasn't bridge the contract. There're laws guilding HP in court.
Sometimes, i wonder if u really go school, abi u be uneducated like us, just they form master degree holder.

There is no criminal matter here, there is a contract, that was breach

Somebody bribing the police to do illegal job or getting involve in business matter, will put the driver in more trouble, if it backfires, police will claim you mislead them.

and mind u, if u go to police they will deceive the driver into writing false statement to enable them turn the matter to criminal matter, if owner fight back goes to higher police authority, that same police officer, will turn around and charge driver for false statement, to exonerate himself.

Glad u said a copy of agreement, there's no room for emotions in contract, and I'm yet to see any HP law in Nigeria outside the MOU between both parties signed and sealed in court. I always tell people be clear about agreement before pending your signature, at the end it's what you agree on they will use to judge you, just like driver will say owner didn't specify boundaries or route. Hopefully there is a space for unforseen circumstances and duration in their clause, if not... we honestly can't fault the owner, he only set a trap, waiting for his victim. Good and bad r relative, so I'll keep my verdict to myself on this.
but there is law that regulate such agreements, just like you take a loan from bank, cbn will peg at 20% for example but some banks will demand 25%.

House rent for example, if you prepare rental agreement demanding 2years payment, and the tenant sign it, and you visit the court for breach of contract with such agreement, it will be thrown out.

Part of the regulation is:

If the driver has paid above 1.5million from 2.5m agreed, that is 3 fifth of the total money, u can't just go and withdraw the car, you need to visit the court to do so.

I'm asking for a copy of the contract to see if there is any loophole, or if it's within the regulation.

There should be a clause in the contract that covers for accidents and force majeure. Revert to it and there-in lies your answers.

P.S HP agreements always favor car owners.
Force majeure still have clauses, what if the accident is due to the negligence or recklessness of the driver.

You see the point, some owners have only 1 car, they survive with ur weekly payment, they might not even be able to bring out anither 2million to buy another car. He didn't go into the business for charity, he bought a Corolla for additional income, or survival.

That owner is very greedy. He can't demand 1m outright

If Driver has actually paid up to 3 fifth of the payment, he cannot just retrieve the car, he need to visit the court.

HP has a law in Nigeria guiding HP transactions.

Just as lagos state house rent law, you must draft an agreement with what the law stipulates.

I can assist you in 2 ways.

Option 1:

Send a copy of the hp agreement.

I will reach out to my lawyer for briefing. If lawyer says we have a chance in court, then we go court, if you win, you refund me the legal fee.

Option 2:

Pay the 2 months money, you're owning, then you refund me 10k weekly.

Owners please always state in your contract, vehicle is strictly for uber/bolt, ondo/edo state not allow.

Driver will always claim rental should be low, so they won't over use the car, but here we go, a popular driver here @Felicity0001 negotiated a rent for 10k weekly, in the name of pandemic,i will use the car like my own, maintain it very well, because i once own a car, now run that same car to and flow to Edo state, more than 5times.
