maclatunji: Most people ego tripping and hating on other people and their businesses.
People should understand that one man's progress won't prevent your own. If people you relate with continue to win, there is a high chance your big win is coming soon as long as you don't start hating others over their legitimate hustle. The same traffic danfo driver, Uber driver is praying Against is the same traffic hawkers Are praying for. You pray to have light 24/7,people who supply diesel pray there shouldn't be light, so there will be business. You pray AGAINST Death, but coffin sellers in ur district pray for business. In this Uber business every owner should pray not to encounter A MANIPULATIVE MECHANIC/GAZZUZZ. Every new driver hustling to buy a new car should pray not to encounter A manipulative dealer/carshopper, he will sell you dead Kia Rio and tell you he still has plenty on the road. DRU23 said he sold All his cars And start afresh. He is still in business because he has other sources. Last year in this forum, someone Asked About shockabsober corolla, ogunvic reply the person that is sold for 19k in ladipo, I directed the person to somebody in ladipo he bought those shock for 5k each, that guy is making heavy sells now to plenty Uber owners. So young man no such thing as hating, just As u r marketing THAT APP, YOUR PRAYER IS TO BE BETTER THAN UBER. |

GAZZUZZ: 6 vehicles will be available for rental next week.
Engine sizes will not exceed 1.6liter
Tyres/a/c/suspension/interior will be in excellent condition
rental will be 27,500 N25,000
Refurbished Corona hatchback 99 model. Kia picanto. It can't be corolla. We know it. Uber is not design for rental, Uber is design for HP. I'm on the fence, follow this manipulative mechanics words at your own peril. |

iyaegin: You are so deluded if you trueltruely think rentals would just stroll come and meet you at 30-35k. Otherwise you will just get a newbie who knows nothing and probably dumps your car after a week or two.rentals now are between 25-30k. I prefer working with newbies, than this retired rich guys that feels so entitled. Jesusboy was saying he earn 20k weekly and feels comfortable with it, all of you here claim is not worth it. But you expect owner who might have worked his ass off, get a loan from bank, probably sell his land or house, to invest in Uber to collect 20k/25k.. If you guys bring danfo style here, trust me, owners will quit and divert their investment. It will remain you and your village people to invest. |

GAZZUZZ: In the beginning before the days of Ogunvic41 and romeo it was 60k, then came ogunvic with 50k then it fell to 40k then 35k steady for a while and now it sits at 27.5k what stops it from crashing further? Everybody knows rental is between 30k-35k... At least 95% of good cars goes with this price. If there is a car for 27500/25000 is either A problematic car or car that consume more fuel. Anybody that change engine oil and oil filter in ur shop and pay you 3k that you normally collect is stupid. Other mechanics do it for 500/1000naira. Anything underneath 1000/1500. Smart people that truly wants to make money in Uber business will not use ur service. Because all the rental money, u will indirectly take it back. I can mention how many investors u have successfully frustrate out of this business. izzou is just A DRIVER he won't understand I'm protecting car owners from this hyena. |

izzou: Okay.
1) If that your friend had taken the car to Elizade motors, will they charge him 130k? And if they charge him more, does that make them thieves? You found a cheaper mechanic and you used him. Simple. What's with the name calling?
2) And what is wrong if he puts a corolla for 1.9 million? Is there a law that says it's only uber that corolla must be used? Haven't you seen corolla for 2 million, or 2.1m? Does that make them thieves?
3) And since when he has been shouting 20k, how many drivers have revolted for the decrease?
Your problem is you don't know when to differentiate between an opinion and a fact. Was it not you that wanted down payment for a Nigerian used corolla for HP when people are picking up tokunbo without any down payment? Does that make you a thief?
Calm down. Nobody is dragging your business or your success with you. And learn to leave everyone to their own business. Stop calling people names when they haven't cheated or stolen from you.
Listen I called GAZZUZZ manipulator and rip off. Anything grossly over priced is a rip off. Elizade clients are big corporations, elizade don't target poor car owners, GAZZUZZ mode of operation is target new car owners manipulate them with English then rip them off. Just as GAZZUZZ is shoutin on top of his voice drivers should get A car for 20k weekly.. So im also shouting on top of my voice nobody should pay beyond what other mechanics are charging, we all here are in for business. You know how many people that sees my message and I have an idea of how much it cost to maintain a car. The brainbox saga: brain box is sold for 12k in ladipo , GAZZUZZ wanted 50k, the guy came online to inform everyone, ur mechanic claim he bought a stolen goods, meanwhile every where in ladipo brainbox is sold for 12k. Alot of new investors are able to withstand this business, because they have the right mechanic and right price. With GAZZUZZ you will shut down easily. |

izzou: You're a very bitter person in life
You shouldn't have kids. You may eventually strangle them to death out of anger
Just look at how you murdered another man's business that you've never patronised
God have mercy Another ass licker spotted. My points are just truth, my friend was at GAZZUZZ shop I think 2016 or 2017 then timing chain problem with a corolla, vehicle was towed to his shop after inspection, he quoted over 130k, for fixing, then my friend called me, I told the person to tow it out of that place, then dey brought the vehicle to alapere, vehicle was fixed with 20k everything. Including workmanship. When GAZZUZZ worked with ogunvic they ripped off Alot of people, some where given quote of 200k to 300k to fix. They manipulate people into buying peogeut 407, when the bubble burst, GAZZUZZ deny everybody. Just as someone says he is selling accidented 04 corolla for 1.9 then still advise drivers not to do beyond 20k RENTAL.. |

Chuwaa: Well said, the sense of entitlement in some people is amazing. Maybe because he answers people directly, imagine the Yankee fella asking how big his workshop is. Maybe it's time to start filling form before seeing Gazzuz as some orhers do. Many of you here we de para have received worst rejections or charges at the so called established firms and you didn't complain. I have requested Gazzuz service and he refused and I was never annoyed, in the second instance he referred me to another technician also on this forum, one nice guy named Seun.
The guy Jpworld has never hidden his disdain for Gazzuz and I just laugh. Charging 20k for car inspection is not by force and shouldn't be used against him, after all you pay 800 for popcorn at the cinema and buy same 100 at other places. Anyway what do I know self, Nigeria is the poverty capital of the world and socialists will abound. Most of you can't stop asslicking. GAZZUZZ I will repeat it again and again is full of manipulation, he bullies alot of new vehicle owners and take advantage of them. GAZZUZZ cannot fix engine, all he does is to ask you to buy Another engine and he will tight it for you. GAZZUZZ only replace parts for you, he doesn't know how to fix. I have more than 5 mechanics I worked with, and they are extremely cheap and does alot of better job. GAZZUZZ has failed in Uber business he bought dead cars like Corona 99model for 400k add dvd and want driver to deliver 35k then. He keep saying Uber is not design for rental, since Uber is not design for rental WHAT IS IT DESIGN FOR? Since him and that his partner carshopper has failed they have no money to invest back in the business, so dey try to manipulate drivers into believing Wat they're saying, if u r a driver and you follow this mechanic advise you will not survive, driving Uber is not a luxury job that must make u rich, u r with Uber because u want to survive and make some savings. |

GAZZUZZ: IF YOU USE AN ELANTRA WITH A 2.0 LITER ENGINE, DO NOT PAY MORE THAN 20K RENTAL. If you change engine oil and oil filter do not pay more than 500-1000naira.i have mechanic in ogudu ojota that does my fixing for the past 3 years in this business. Change of brake pad, all those underneath work do not pay more than 1000-1500. If you pay beyond what other mechanics are charging that's the reason u not making gain. 3years in this business is not 3days. If you want to buy a car, I have a mechanic that charge 5k, do not pay 20k to this greedy guy that is full of manipulation. He just want to rip you off and take advantage of you. |

Anyone who does not understand that will be wailing, crying and gnashing his teeth forever at the mercy of those who do. Na so life be. More reasonable people are joining this thread, it was drivers against any car owner. Most tenants in Lagos don't like to pay house rent, tell them to go and buy land and build, they won't, but they won't know the sacrifice it takes to build a house. |

franksam2009: seriously car owners won't understand until they drive and see for themselves, I was among the car owners bashing rental guys earlier until I drove and see 4 myself, People work their ass off day and night, the waist pain, leg pain, life threatening risk involved at the end struggle to pay up a person relaxing/sitting in his comfort zone and end up saving 15-20k for himself .. and the PON PON guy is busy jubilating thinking he has made it in life
But since they decided to drive on rental, there's also no point complaining, it's either you drive or return car owner's keys simple You don't own any car. You are driver playing car owner. |

Four years ago b4 buhari, you can easily bring in 2years old car from America and sell to an average person, but now 2years old car is for super rich. dru23: Same goes for drivers, drivers won't undestand how car owners borrow, sweat ,sacrifice just to buy a car.. And Nigerian banks are not loan friendly to small business owners.. And the high rate on loans basically kills a business.. Than you have some not all ,crazy driver thinking because you gave him a car to drive, he is now doing the owner a favor, better yet driver drives and damages the car. Dumps it for owner Seriously if drivers can just walk into a bank and ask for a loan .. Especially the conditions you have to go through.. Only if drivers can experience that .. My broda you are very correct. The pon pon driver claim to earn 20k weekly and he is currently happy with his earnings. But here drivers says is not enough. Now they expect owners who Also have family to feed to bring down the rent. Most owners have only one car and that is their only business. Surviving has never been easy in this country. |

izzou:

At no point did I discredit him, or talk him out of working 15 hours a day. Check my posts to confirm
I have read this thread from page 1 to now, and all I see in you is a failed partner. Yes, a FAILED PARTNER
You're so bitter you never got it right. Such a pity you had to sell/lease your corolla. In your mind, no driver should make more than a partner.
And what is honest about posting your earnings? If I agree to pay you 30k or 35k every week, do I have to print out my earnings to show you again?
You're so bitter bro. It pains you when people like Dru are still waxing strong, making significant progress and acquiring more experience and more vehicles, but here you are looking for 2 verifiable guarantors and thousands of naira for Nigerian used corolla
You failed bro.
Maybe you have been meeting wicked drivers since the beginning. But not all drivers are the same. And all of us have different destinies. So as Mr Jesusson is doing well in driving, I'm also facing the path where my star is leading me too
So take you hypocritical, bile-filled posts and shove it into your ears. Since only you and Jesusson are the honest beings on earth, why not drive yourself, even in your spare time, and leave us the "thieves" here alone?
