rugged7: I don't mean to derail this thread.
For the south africans on this thread, this is purely out of curiosity...
About the Xenophobia issue:
Why do u think there is so much hatred of south africans for other black africans- to the point of committing systematic murder??
Note: I'm not judging anyone, i just find it very hard to understand all the hatred. I pity south africans alot, apartheid is not yet over, it was only modified...The whites in SA still treat the blacks SA as dogs(sorry for using that) they push them to commit xenophobia attacks on other blacks and still kill them like dogs, just like those protesting miners the police slaughtered....soforget about those people, they are on their own. |

Patchesagain: A walk down memory lane, combatants and operators from the "bush wars" of Southern Africa
1. Rhodesian Army Soldiers (allmost 40% of the combatants in the Smith Government army were black) 2. Ibid 3. A personal favorite of mine - after the Portuguese pulled out of Angola, certain renegade units of the Portuguese Army stayed behind and continued fighting, some with UNITA, some with MPLA and some completely unaligned fighting for personal gain or protection of small isolated communities 4. MPLA forces, location and time unknown 1. Rhodesian Army Soldiers (allmost 40% of the combatants in the Smith Government army were black) Don't you think the blacks are used as life bait by the whites. |

agaugust: As Henry says, likely they are sold off, but wish someone listens to Nigerian navy's cry for long range aircraft, the AW139 has 6 hour flight endurance at 1,250km range, plus high speed flight options and 15 passenger load, also built by manufacturer as offshore oil and gas helicopter....could be useful to NN as offshore oil EEZ maritime security....the helo has range to fly several hours inside Nigeria's EEZ and return to base on one fuel tank no refueling needed. It has long range to fly from Nigerian EEZ to Angola non-stop and refuel in Luanda....a great asset for maritime security in Gulf of Guinea ! it will do the Nigerian Navy good if they ever change thier mind |
