Even if sometimes you can find some errors on it , but sipri is a serious source for military sales and contracts .

Try to put better sources for the exact numbers of the isotrex phantom II , because have checked quickly most source talk about a pic of 8 phantoms II , same for the Aw 139 how many are in service in nigerian AF and navy ?

Pic : AW 139 helicopters
NAF N° 540 , N° 541
Navy N°312

I am happy to report coordinated military operation against bandits in Zamfara and Kaduna forests. Tremendous success being recorded. Bandits begging government officials in Zamfara and Katsina for mercy and negotiation. But the time for that is gone. Government told them they can't be trusted.

Driving yesterday and saw this Mrap packing in the NA residence in kaduna but couldnt get a pix because of the presence of security officials, how ever I drove pass today and got this pix. At a time when Mrap are needed in the front lines what are they doing in cities, what attack would require the use of a MRAP in the cities when we have APC 's to manage such situations.

If you engage your people positively they will never think you are using helicopter to drop arms against them. Nigerians are not Naive, all over the world Nigerians are seen as great people. If they think you are dropping arms against them, then there must be a reason why these sets of intelligent people think so. F#ck you for calling Nigerians naive.
Kindly mind the language you use when addressing others, just post things related to the thread and enjoy your life, i don't know you and you don't know me and you are not more Nigerian than me.

Piece of Advice,

don't take things personal here.

NASS TEAM IN USA TO ASSESS PROGRESS OF WORK ON NAF A-29 SUPER TUCANO AIRCRAFT

As part of their oversight functions, the National Assembly (NASS) Joint Committee on Defence and Air Force are currently in the United States of America (USA) on inspection tour of Embraer Defence Security Incorporated (EDSI), manufacturers of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) A-29 Super Tucano aircraft. Specifically, members of the joint committee are in the USA to assess the status and progress of work on the NAF A-29 Super Tucano aircraft. On arrival at EDSI yesterday, 27 May 2021, the NASS team led by Senator Michael Nnachi, was briefed on the progress of work on the NAF A-29 Super Tucano programme and the scheduled date of delivery.

While briefing the NASS team, Colonel Authur Ford of the United States Air Force Fighters and Advance Aircraft Directorate stated that 10 out of the 12 aircraft were ready for delivery while 2 were undergoing modification and integration to NAF specific operational configuration. He went on to state that 6 of the aircraft are scheduled to arrive in Nigeria in July 2021 while the remaining 6 will be delivered before the end of October 2021. The NASS team was assured that the aircraft, expected to play critical roles in the fight against insurgency and criminality, would be delivered as planned.

Responding, Senator Michael Nnachi commended EDSI for the quality of work on the NAF A-29 Super Tucano. He however queried the long duration of time from the date of full payment to expected date of delivery, which he estimated to be between 3 to 4 years. In response, the Col Ford informed the team that the long duration was due to the challenges of configuring the aircraft to fit NAF’s required specifications.

The visiting team which also included Honourables Babajimi Benson, Shehu Koko, Abubakar Maki and Honourable Abass Adigun were received on arrival at Jacksonville, Florida by the Nigerian Defence Attaché to the USA, Air Commodore Jibrin Usman, the Lead Foreign Liaison Officer on the A-29, Air Vice Marshal Sule Lawal and senior management staff EDSI.

LOVE FOR COUNTRY:
Timely and excellent speech by the CDS Gen. Leo Irabor at the Interment. In his own words "Why are we here...how did we get here...what's the purpose of allegiance..? Love for country. This exposes everything wrong with the absence of president Buhari himself for whatever reason. It's a shame he didn't.

The Late COAS Lt. Gen. Attahiru and other gallant officers buried in fine military tradition.

Am based in kaduna, what I believed happened can be based on weather, clouds approached that evening and it rained that evening even though the airport is more than 20km from my location, as news broke of the crash, first thing that came to my mind was weather could be the cause of the crash.

I still believe they forced the landing on a bad weather...
