They fight PRIMARILY in water. Doesn't mean there's no land component to their training. It's usually just logistics and guard duties, but the CDS can expand that if need be. They also have special units for strategic duties.

Well, given the state of existing federal roads all over the country, this was NOT a priority. Far from it. However, trains are always a priority for me. So I'm really hoping they include those train tracks. The coastal train is long overdue. Maybe something good will come out of the massive cash they're raking in from subsidy removal and the horrible hunger they plunged our people into.

Bad maintained kerosene stoves if you asked me, because now you remind me, we did use a kerosene stove at times. Had to burn full blue flame though, as yellow flame, which incidentally is a waste of fuel, is not as hot so wouldn't help get the pressure.

So yellow flame (yeah, bad or low-quality stove) failed to produce enough heat to pressurise the cooker. Wow, interesting.

Stampedes can occur anywhere and at any time. They recently happened in South Korea, Israel, the U.S. and multiple European countries. When they occur, let us learn the needed lessons instead of politicising them based on what part of the country the incident rested its ugly head.

Been using one since mid 70s myself, as grew with ma using one from before I was born. She's what you'd call alaroro. I think that's because we were not wealthy, and she had daughters to feed and pad and not be tempted by pigs. No light in rooms no one's in, and lantern instead of matches. Food on the dinning table without fail though, but god help you if your cutlery is missing.

Sounds like a helluva great mother to me. I didn't know they don't work optimally with kerosene stoves. I wonder why. Isn't it just heat it requires?

I use a pressure cooker. Once its boiled for 5 minutes, switch off the gas and let the pressure do the rest.

You sabi. I don't know why not many Nigerians invest in a pressure cooker. Saves gas and time.
