intruder15: You are looking at the wrong things. Which is why you may be single for a long time. Financial strength isn't part of what a man serious for marriage should look out for. It encompass all shades of gbas gbos.
Look out for core values. Does the person have sense? Is the person remorseful? Can she help you grow wealth by not billing you on unnecessary things?
My 2 cents.
If money is part of what you look out for, then restrict your search to work colleagues or work referrals. However, anything you see, embrace it will less shock.

Christianity Etc › Re: Former Jehovah Witness David Hundeyin Reacts To New JW Blood Doctrine by JuanDeDios: 11:39am On Mar 23 |
CaseSensitive: Of course it's a matter of perspective, and you're right - christianity came to them too because Ethiopia before Christianity believed in many gods which is tied nature and ancestors but I'd still regard them as a christian nation in a contemporary sense. Even in the Bible, in the Acts of Apostles, an Ethiopian official is baptized by Philip the Evangelist, so that suggests christianity probably reached their region before it even became official. So yes christianity came to them too, it just depends on how far back you want go.
Christianity in Nigeria on the other hand is nothing like the Orthodox christianity in terms of doctrine. The version of christianity in Nigeria is European version and when they came to spread it, they didn't have good intentions. The religion is a clown show nowadays in Nigeria (I mean it has always been a clown show). People don't think. They've outsourced critical thinking skills to Jesus and the bible.

Christianity Etc › Re: Former Jehovah Witness David Hundeyin Reacts To New JW Blood Doctrine by JuanDeDios: 10:46am On Mar 23 |
CaseSensitive: Because Christianity has been present there since at least the 4th century and it remains one of the oldest uninterrupted Christian traditions in the world. Ethiopian orthodox christianity is entirely different to christianity practised in Nigeria. Also the Ethiopian Bible is complete unlike other versions such as KJV which has 66 books, Ethiopian Bible has 81. They include the likes of Book of Enoch, Book of Jubilees, Meqabyan etc.
Evangelical Christianity in other parts of Africa, including Nigeria was a tool of colonialism, and it's a psyop operation nowadays. That's not a religion I'll take seriously. Brilliant take. But I think this is a matter of perspective. I mean, Christianity isn't Ethiopian. It also CAME TO them. Just that it came to them before us and under different circumstances. |

Mattswaggz: If you weren't following the news back then, then don't expect me to go dig it up for you..... Ukraine made their intentions of joining NATO clear back then and NATO was willing to accept them regardless of Russia concerns.
Ukraine is a very populous country with a good military, land mass,a good amount of resources and shares a large border with Russia.....other one's are small Fry's compared to Ukraine.....Apart from Poland, I don't see any major threat NATO member in that eastern Europe to Russia and had Ukraine joined they would've been a much bigger threat to Russia than Poland. You're grasping at straws - Poland, Finland and Sweden are not insignificant countries. Each of them of is far more "dangerous" to Russia than Poland (I put dangerous in quotes because, outside of you people's imagination, nobody wants to attack Russia. No Nato, Not USA. Not Ukraine.) You're lying. There is no formal application to join Nato made by Zelensky and there is no document or record of a meeting in which Nato agreed to admit Ukraine. Again, your imagination is playing tricks on you. |

As the inimitable Mr Quelme would ask, what stopped Russia from recruiting any randome person? Oh, I forgot all the women with missing kids in Africa have traced them to Russia (not Ukraine o) where they were tricked to fight. Politics › Re: Why President Tinubu Should Temporarily Subsidise PMS by JuanDeDios(op): 8:11pm On Mar 21 |
Misterone: Oga, stop talking nonsense! Minimum wage has nothing to do with the price of PMS. PMS is an international commodity. You can only reduce its price through subsidies or tax reduction Affordability (minimum wage) is relevant since YOU want to compare prices across countries. The issue is what's best for the economy. You're just another NL olodo who had no clue we have taxes on petroleum products. Bye. |

Adblg0610: Countries like Germany and Spain avoided blanket subsidies and used targeted support instead. Better approach for Nigeria is to subsidize public transport, not fuel. FG should also Invest in alternatives (CNG, rail, mass transit) and as well as support the poor directly (cash transfers, tax relief) The bottom line is to protect the people, not petrol prices. Bolded should have been done at the time of removing subsidies. But it wasn't, so here we are. What that means is that we (the people and the economy) are left entirely to the vagaries of international pricing. Which country does that? Cash transfer is a bad idea around here. |

Politics › Re: Why President Tinubu Should Temporarily Subsidise PMS by JuanDeDios(op): 2:26pm On Mar 21 |
Misterone: Oga, check the prices in these countries you mentioned, you'll discover that what these countries are doing is not subsidies but reduction in taxes. Their prices far surpass the price of PMS in the international market. Our price is just basic with no taxes involved if you believe there are no taxes involved in our pump price, I have a bridge to sell you. How many taxes did the Dangote Refinery man say they pay the other day, even on what they sell locally? Your argument about pricing is flawed. What is the minimum wage in those countries? What is the PCI/standard of living in those countries? The fact is that N1200 for PMS is too high. It's too high because apart from the human suffering it brings, it has devastating effects on the economy and will wipe out the gains already made. The government has a responsibility to think of long term economics effects and the plight of the people. |
