A US judge ruled against something like this recently and forced the young man to take blood to save his life.
Maybe our judges should consider such in extreme cases like this. A judge ruled to force an ADULT to undergo a medical procedure? I don't believe that. |
Politics › Re: NSA Ribadu Unveils 7,000 Forest Guards, Set For Immediate Deployment by JuanDeDios: 10:56am On Dec 28, 2025 |
Bigpat: The attack on Nuhu Ribadu’s credibility reflects ignorance of our security architecture. Dismissing him because he’s an ex-police officer shows a poor grasp of history and national security. The police are not subordinates to the military — they are the mother agency of all security institutions, a broad institution trained in law enforcement with deep experience in intelligence gathering, community trust-building, counterterrorism, and international peacekeeping, and — the qualities most essential in modern national security leadership. Ex-police officers like Ribadu bring invaluable expertise in bridging internal and external security, a quality many advanced nations value in strategic leadership. Countries such as the UK and Japan rely primarily on strong policing systems to maintain peace and order. Even nations with powerful militaries respect their police institutions they enjoy immense respect, as strategic security partners in internal and international security frameworks. Undermining the police is not patriotism — it’s a disservice to the brave men and women who protect this nation daily. Ribadu deserves respect, not ridicule, for his service and competence. These are how I perceives & advice people like you: “The hen that lectures the eagle on flying still waits for her rooster to find his way home.” “When the drum in your house beats out of tune, don’t teach the village how to dance.” “Before building the nation, sweep your sitting room.”

Let the fed recruit and pay them because leaving their welfare in the hands of those states they come from could be counterproductive because most state governors pay pittance to their employers.
I just hope the Fed is going to pay them well because...

JooEeL: Nothing. Just like night clubs and event centres, the church and mosques are social constructs for get-together, familiarisation and uplifting of emotions.
After u leave there, the same physical eba you eat is the same a non-church-goer eats. The same way you drink water is the same way he will drink. Your situation remains 100% physical like the case of others. After skibashing your ripapa ripopo, me and u go struggle enter the same danfo. Nothing sets you apart from the next person.
Admittedly, it does shape behaviour and morality, but that is not the be-all end-all as morality and good conduct can be gotten anywhere: home, schools, place of work and even a person's conviction. Bolded part. But isn't that important? Lately, we've been reading SM stories of men in their j'70s ending up alone - after their wife travelled to Canada for omugwo and didn't come back. If such men and others in similar situations were welded into their church, won't they be faring much better? Even for regular people who are not lonely or introverted, having a place you look forward to going every Sunday can't be bad. Unbolded part. I generally share these views - and they may be correct - even though I recognise that there is a lot we don't know. However, I've met people who had genuine SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCES and you probably have. I'm talking about people you trust and know they're not making things up. |

Kaliningrad: In my opinion they are the best kitted and best armed military in Africa. Do you agree?
I don't think there's anyone on the African continent more armed than the 🇧🇫 Burkina Faso Army. They're a proper modern army.
Their kits and rifles are specially made in Russia. 70% of thier military equipment comes from Russia, the other 30% from China.
When will the Nigerian army ever get to this level? Our soldiers are always dressed in rags, even the Presidential guards. It's sad. Well, the Russians are getting it right somewhere. They can't kit their troops in Ukraine (some of them are using iron rods as weapons and donkeys for vehicles and wearing slippers). But they're kitting Capt Traore's boys well. Good one. |

Properties › Re: Lagos Landlords Will Make Many Destitute In 2026 by JuanDeDios: 10:58am On Dec 27, 2025 |
kcprince: You guys make it seem as if it is the fault of landlord. A plot of land in Amuwo and other middle class areas on mainland is about 150million . Then add cement 10k per bag , iron rod 1million per ton. At the end of the day you have spent 400million for a six flat house. The average rental return worldwide is 5% , that means you need to make at least 20million annually. Dividing this by 6 flats gives about 3 ,300,000. Adding caretakers margin makes it 3,500,000. This new rates affects old houses as landlords start renovating to modern standards to partake in new rate .
Inflation is to blame Hmm. Eye-opening analysis. It's always about the economics. |

newoffer: The greed and wickedness in the heart of a regular landlord will lead to more people sleeping on the streets in 2026.... Rents are going as high as 500 percent because of greed. Whatever they are doing now is not sustainable at all. Prices going up from 300k per self contained to 800k. My advice is to move up Okoko and Agbara axis. Since there is train coming to that axis. Best choice Good advice. But once train reaches, what do you think dem landlords and landladies will do? |

The solution is for the FG to arrest all the terrorists sponsors.. cut the supplies(Food,Fuel, arms and ammunitions) to these terrorists, and see how fast it will be decimated. 20 more characters needed

Bizmind95: Lol, you must be really foolish, naive or both to think that Tinubu is happy with this latest development. This is the height of humiliation on a global scale of unequal proportions!!! Even a baby knows that Trump has been looking for the perfect setting for his personal military adventures for a time now. He first started with White Genocide claims in South Africa, but Ramaphosa firmly stood his ground against him, even right during a very tensed White House meeting. And Trump knows too well too that he can't strike South Africa, cus the country is strategically aligned with the powerful BRICS. So he turned his attention next to Venezuela, but met his match in Maduro. Trump can only be striking innocent fishermen all over the Caribbean, but can never strike inside Venezuelan territory. So he thought about Colombia, but Gustavo Petro is a complete mad man. Dude even challenged the US military to stop taking orders from Trump right during a protest in New York City itself. Something unheard of before in world's politics!!! So Trump quickly left the mad man alone, and suddenly remembered Nigeria, where he finally found the perfect setting for his personal military adventures cus the government is weak and groslly ineffective. No top-notch diplomats like the likes of the great Emeka Anyaoku and co during the Obj era. No strategic alliances, like how lbrahim Traore of Burkina Faso quickly ran to Russia for protection once he came into power, or how South Africa strategically joined BRICS. No nothing at all!!! Just a bunch of clueless greedy old men!!! Worse still, there's no other people on this planet Earth as divided as Nigerians!!! Tueh!!! But be that as it may, Trump has just literally taken over control of this country from the Iragbiji man. And this will have far reaching consequences in the North come 2027 cus the Northern elites will so much twist the narrative as "Them against Us fight" to send the man back to Iragbiji where he truly belongs 🙂!!! Oh, really. Trump scared of Brics and Maduro. Hmm. |
