A government after almost 4years cannot campaign on its performance should tell Edo people it is a failure.
Comrade campaigned for reelection with one man one vote mantra side by side his infrastructural and economic strides.
Obaseki should campaign on its records. A govt that has borrowed over $100m in 3years with no visible projects. Is evil. Whether he likes it or not Edo people will score him on ground not on social media.

This is the reason Akpabio wanted the IMC just to control NDDC alone. It is sad

By the time Obaseki is done with Edo. The state will be in about 40bn naira debt just for election.
He knows how much he has mismanaged the simple reason his desperation.

My brother we remember it was during Purging Apc could not control the national assembly even with majority. Most of the court cases at the apt state levels were from the Oyegun organized Congresses. My brother Oyegun was the national chairman for 4years like you said. How did he benefit Edo.?

My brother politics is supposed to be about development and good of the people. If it comes through opponents fine there should be healthy competition not pull him down.

Well, tacitly Oshiomhole helped to uproot his fellow Edo man, Oyegun.

Oshio clearly has no qualms conniving against Edo people. Oyegun managed the delicate balancing act for over 4 to 5 years. Because Tinubu could not use Oyegun to do just his bidding, he engineered his removal. See how long Oshio lasted now.

Wrong to say Edo people would have benefited from Osho party chairmanship. He was there for two years to do that. Even the FG position he gave his former deputy Odubu, he lasted only days or weeks in it.

You cannot antagonise so many people as party chairman. In any case, Oshio would only put his stooges in positions. No benefit to generality of Edo. We benefit far more from a good governor, whatever his party.

Whether we like it or not in Nigeria today senators have slots,dg have slots,md has slots,federal commissioners have slots and you do not expect them to take majority appointment of this slots outside their domicile. Nigerians are qualified in every region.but it gives a head start it goes without gain saying.for this reason a minister is nominated from each state. How has national reckoning helped alleviate the sufferings of the common masses in Edo and how many Edo sons and daughters have been placed on positions of national reckoning? Name just twenty names. But pension paid will put more smiles in the faces of more Edo people. Don't you see that it is better to have the pension paid regularly than one useless ' national reckoning '.

As youths, we should place more emphasis on how our State governors run our States. We should as a matter of fact demand more from them. How our States are run affects us more than one useless national appointment.

My brother if you took time to read he said 8months not 8years. And I can tell you for free. Some local government workers and pensioners are owed 15months salaries in Edo today. Learn to discuss constructively without insults.

Speaking to the fact of Wike calling hope Supreme Court governor it is laughable. Wike is the definition of a Supreme Court governor. Wike was declared winner with over 1m votes in 2015 even though card reader indicated less than 400000 votes cast. The Supreme Court had to jettison card reader and ruled that the voter register alone is valid for election purposes to accommodate wike votes. And for this he thanked Mary Odili at his thanksgiving for showing him who to MEET.
Let the elections be on issues the edo people are concerned with.

I am here and now waiting for the achievements. On debt alone. In 2016 July d foreign debt of Exo was $179m. As at early 2020 it was $296m. Godwin had borrowed almost $100m in 3years. With the money he saved and refused to share I would have expected Edo to be London. What did he borrow the money for or used the saved funds for? Not a single school block built,not a single new hospital built,not a single new road started from start to finish, water storm project abandoned. Please educate me on his achievements apart from just shouting no sharing money without listing those who requested.

Regarding the allegations against Ize Iyamu, it was Oshiomhole himself who passionately discredited him long ago. So it is left for Oshiobaba himself to come out and tell us he was just lying.

The allegations are false. Uniben cleared him that is why he was called back. Let's even assume he was 35years ago and a pastor now. Apostle Paul who later became the most important apostle was what? Wale Soyinka who is referred today as a shining light founded that association.
These are distractions for Obaseki not to give his score card. His supporters I expect should be happy to list his achievements not whether a present day Pastor fought a student even before half of the voting population today was born.

Brother the law school does not deny people who have requisite academic results and are forwarded by the schools admission because of vices. There are friends of mine who graduated with law degree but didn't pursue law school admission. It is optional only mandatory if one wants to practice law in Nigeria. If he had any disciplinary issues Uniben would have seized his results. The case of Kavanaugh u referenced I am sure u later realized allegations are not necessarily truths. Uniben investigated and decided to recall him.
Let's ask Obaseki to show his score card. Let him run on his record.the truth is he has non to run on.

This pastor guy was denied admission into the Law School, and he cannot practice law in Nigeria ...don't you think this is weighty enough for discussion? Did you follow-up on the congress screening to confirm US chief justice? They went as far back as when he bullied someone in high school, and the number of times he got drunk at a party (in high school). He had to explain clearly what happened, and also inform the house of his repentance from alcoholism/drunkenness.
Issues that bother on "questionable character" are serious issues, and they need to be clarified.

Dasuki approved the money without Jonathan? The same pdp you are supporting gave him the money as their campaign director in Edo he did not break into the bank. Some people are better advisers and coaches rather than actual players. What is his record as governor from 2016 to 2020. He is not running for head economic team but as governor. He can allocate whatever figures he wants.if he likes he can pay ghosts. When he leaves in November the books will be properly audited
