Pls, I'd like to know the chances of getting a study permit without having to pay the school fee. My sponsor is my in-law. He owns his own company, also partners with a cement industry here and a truck company abroad. I'm certain his effort and that of my family members(also sponsor) can cook up a good financial background but can I get TRV with that?

Also, I'd like to say a big well done to all the

contributors here.
You can get without paying school fees. I got mine without tuition payment just package your app well

OK, thanks. Are you already an RN? If yes, how many years is the RN-BNSC program and what's the course tuition like?
Am not yet an RN.but it's a four years course for undergraduate and three years I think for graduate course. The tuition depends on the school u apply to.

Dear House,
Please I need advise.
Got the medical mail and I want for the medicals today(ikeja), however, I was informed that my BP is a bit higher than it should be.
I was advised to come back next Wednesday to see a cardiologist for cardiology report.
Not so happy right now.
Please has anyone experience such before and what could be the implications cos I told the doctor that am very fine and it could be job stress.
Never had surgery before.....
Just don't know what to do next
Someone on this trend has had a similar issue I think part 8 from wat I can remember the test cost additional money but it won't affect ur app since u are sure that u are fine. It's only going to delay u now since dey ask u to come back on Wednesday. Just keep praying I don't think it's worth the panic

hi all.. i gained admission into Conestoga college in Ontario canada.. to do a one year health course followed by 3yr practical nursing degree for UG. the school said that i will pay for half my tuition..

i want to know how the gurus in the house see this school (hope it not a red flag school)

is it normal for one to pay tuition deposit first before as the school demands before applying for visa?

pls i need advice.
thank you
It's not a red flag der r ppl from dis trend who are already der and dey got der TRV. If the school asked u to pay half of the tuition first. Then u av to pay its normal. Ppl even pay complete tuition but it depends on ur sch sum don't need it until u arrive.

Hey everyone. I had to register to share my testimony as it may just be what someone particularly needs at a point. Forgive the length cos this thread has been dry for a while compared to when I first found it.

All in a bid to satisfy my curiosity, I stumbled upon this thread about 2 weeks into my online application. Coupled with satisfying my curiosity, the thread subtlely exposed my many flaws. I thought I had my application all together until it got to the rush hour & mass denial turned the order of the day. But then the rush period passed, CIC september recess and then even afterwards! People be giving their testimonies and behind my phone I'd be like well, There is God! Some people
expressed their worries after about a month into their app & after reading I'm just like 'me wey done dey wait since June nko".

However after weeks of seemingly endless waiting, I already gave myself delay letter when God didn't. I been done tick Insufficient funds (lol). + I was really scared when the US & CA sharing information thingy came up cos I failed to give up one of my brother's temporary residence in d US + there was this UG guy who was 17 & was denied. Someone posed probably cos he was underage + i didn't even declare my UK visa, so Travel history suppose be follow come too. There and then i just told myself to get off it as the main reasons for denial are what i failed to fix in my app. But God showed up for me, guys the miracles that happen with prayers ehn? cannot be overemphasized kwa. God won eventually!
University of Manitoba (Winter 2016)

DOA: 26th June 2015
BIO: 3rd July '15
Med. call: 14th August.
Med. done: 17th August.
Med. passed: 21st August.
Passport request: 20th October.

My app was so imperfect but like a lady on here

said something like 'it may tarry' but it will surely come. All I submitted was;
CIC forms
Acceptance letter
Dad's bank statement (5.8M only; you see why I ticked insufficient funds?)
Waec result
Birth certificate
SOP
Document checklist sha
If this didn't come now, I probably would have failed my Nursing board exam which is in 2 weeks(lol. the worries were all over me) but God's timing is perfect.
Note: I only turned 18 a month+ after submitting my app.
Glory to God!!!
Congratulations seems ppl heading to Manitoba for January are increasing. And we r going for Same course.

My thoughts exactly! Pls b aware that d same applies for nursing too, u ain't coming straight into d college of nursing, u'll be placed in U1 first (similar to sciences / pre-nursing class), if u perform excellently, then ur application to the College of Nursing will be considered... Guess it's d norm for medical courses @ undergrad level, so weigh both courses & ur passion well before deciding. Wishing u d best!
Thanks for the advice. I appreciate

are colleges in canada seen as red flag schools by their embassy here in Nigeria, even though thery are listed on the CIC page
No. I don't think so as far as it has rights to admit international students. If u package ur application well with a good letter of explanation u wil get it.
