The Labour Party has announced a former presidential aide Akin Osuntokun as the new Director-General (DG) of its Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).

Osuntokun succeeds Doyin Okupe who resigned of late as the director-general of the campaign council for the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

Channels Television had exclusively reported on December 19, 2022 that Oshuntokun was a front runner to take Okupe’s position.

Until recently, Osuntokun was the Zonal Coordinator (South) of the campaign council. A former Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Osuntokun served as Political Adviser to former President Olusegun Obasanjo, and as Director of the Presidential campaign of the People’s Democratic Party in 2011.

Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu of a Federal High Court in Abuja on December 19, 2022 had found Okupe guilty of receiving over N200 million cash from former National Security Adviser (NSA), Sambo Dasuki, ruling that his action violated the Money Laundering Act.

The court held that Okupe was guilty in counts 34, 35, 36, and 59 and sentenced him to two years imprisonment with an option of a fine.

Okupe, an ally of Obi right from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) before the duo joined the LP this year, subsequently paid a N13m fine and escaped being jailed.

Okupe, a former aide to then President Goodluck Jonathan, later resigned as the director-general of Obi’s campaigns.

Osuntokun, who is from Ekiti State, was a former managing director of the News Agency of Nigeria.

Political analysts said he has an on-field political experience.
He is a Nigerian political scientist, strategist, researcher, administrator, journalist and writer, with experience in media advocacy, policy research and implementation and political analysis. A former Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria, Osuntokun served as Political Adviser to former President Olusegun Obasanjo, and as Director of the presidential campaign of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in 2011

Today, I woke up to news that Anambra-born oil mugul, philanthropist and politician Prince Arthur Eze dissociated himself from Mr Peter Obi's presidential ambition in the 2023 Nigerian election

I read the predicted reactions by OBIdients to the news and immediately felt the need to sympathize with Peter Obi.

While Peter Obi is branded as someone who is infectiously courtly, these Obidients are crudely brash; while Datti baba-ahmed is on an impossible task of trying to convince the northerners, these OBIdients come up with witty memes, recriminatory posts, hyperbolic conclusions and name-calling for anyone daring to not support their god.

The lastest victim of the Obidient mob justice today is Prince Arthur Eze. Other notable Nigerians who have fallen victims include : Prof Charles Soludo, governor of Anambra state whose only crime was revealing the lies and incompetence of Mr Peter obi.

Another victim, The Obi of Onitsha, His Majesty, Igwe Alfred Achebe was attacked verbally by the ever bellicose supporters of Mr Peter Obi for warmly receiving the presidential candidate of PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Guys I have been touring the Northern States for several weeks now, and in all the major cities or cosmopolitan areas, you can see Tinubu presidential billboards almost everywhere, even in the small towns and villages. Atiku and Kwankwaso posters are visible too but have far less coverage than Tinubu.

Kwankwaso presidential posters are mainly visible in Kano and scanty elsewhere. Atiku's own is also quite vague in some areas but his face is definitely out there - you can find it without much stress.

Then as for Tinubu, he is literally the face of the 2023 elections. If you go anywhere in the North, you can't miss it. Even if you were a total stranger in Nigeria, you would immediately know an election is coming up because Tinubu's presidential posters are just like MTN - it's Everywhere You Go!

But you see Peter Obi, his posters are practically invisible and virtually non-existent in almost all cosmopolitan areas of the North, not to mention towns and local settlements, whether it's in Kogi, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Jigawa, Yobe, Borno, Adamawa, Gombe, Zamfara, Bauchi etc.

It's like the guy doesn't even exist at all. So you mean to tell me that despite all the money Zombidiots across Nigeria and beyond have been contributing, especially those Igbo criminals that are into drug trafficking abroad and the ones sponsoring IPOB terrorism, Peter Obi still won't print or pay for campaign adverts and posters to be circulated in the zone with the highest voting bloc?

This Peter Obi is just an absolute fraud. Just look at how he is defrauding these hopeless nzogbu nzogbu keyboard social media bandits supporting him with their last widow's mite and most of them continue to suffer in penury and die in abject poverty.

It's starting to show that Peter Obi campaign is just another MMM strategy to defraud the public. If he can't even use his poor followers money to at the very least print campaign posters, then where is the money going to? Is Peter Obi already sending Zombidiots campaign contribution money to his Pandora accounts overseas? Time will tell.
