Congratulations oo! It is truly God!

Please what did you use as POF at almost last minute ?
EngrKen8:
So I’m still dancing but let me drop my timeline.
ECA - June 2016
IELTS- July 2016 8,8,7.5, 6
Crs score of 396 so I gave up on the whole thing. Then I found you guys, started reading and started believing again
2nd IELTS - 29th July 2017
New express entry profile - 2nd August
ITA - 17th August
AOR - 13th November
Med passed - 24th November
PPR - 12th December

Guys it’s been God all the way because my application wasn’t perfect in any way. I had to wait almost 3 months for POF after ITA. Ended up using a gift deed (100% of the funds).
Let me stop here for now and go and submit passport.

Hello!!

Please I lost my passport

Need it almost urgently. Can you kindly guide me in what to do? Thanks .
rayreddington:
Hi Dolaoluwa,
You CANNOT apply as a fresh applicant. What you need to do is apply for change of details.
If you apply as either 'Fresh' or 'Re-Issue' with different details, the payment will go through but your application will be rejected.
I work at Alausa PPT Office.

Hello everyone!

Please I need information on the fastest means to get a new passport if I lost mine.
I would also appreciate if someone can provide contact details of an immigration officer that can assist in a speedy process.

Also, does anyone know what the estimated duration for getting it?

Thanks all.

abi? see syria na.. in 2014 they werent among top 20 countries sef, all of a sudden in 2015 their numbers rose from about 2000 to 34,000 securing them 3rd place. i think refugees, asylum seekers and other pathways make up a huge percentage of permanent residents.

No, I meant that I got stamped but I can’t find the older passport with the stamp and travel evidence. I was there for about a week. Do you think I should leave it out since I don’t have proof?
Jesuba:

Sorry but What do you mean by a month less? Not sure I get your question clearly.

Did you travel to Ghana without being stamped out of Nigeria and stamped into Ghana for less than a month? Then you have nothing to worry about. You don't need PCC from Ghana, you just need to state the dates. If you don't have proof of the movement, then no need to state it.
My thoughts though!

Kindly check your email.

einsteino:

for Gift deed, funds doesnt need to wait for 6months. your gift deed, affidavit and evidence of transfer from donor helps to explain the source of the lump sum. Your pof can be shown in SOA, Fixed deposit, TBills etc.

for sample of gift deed letter, and more details.. check page 0 of this thread or part 2.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by Julie2018: 8:23am On Dec 10, 2017
Nice!

Did the funds stay there for 6 months or for a lesser period of time? And did you put it in a fixed deposit?
Sorry for the many questions
einsteino:

Gift deed. 100% of the funds was gifted to me, i had not one naira to add. so you see, I really have been in your shoes or worse. within the time it took me to sort out POF, my ITA date mates got PPR. but life na per head, we all would be fine in the end.. just keep your strength.

Hello all,

Please a quick question

If someone has travel history to Ghana from about 10 years ago ( almost a month less) but doesn’t have the details or Proof of Travel History.

Can they exempt that information to avoid not being able to provide additional information?

Thanks a lot.

Working on that already.

dtaminator:

As for your case, you do not need a CSE. CSEs are for submitted applications. You seem to be at ITA stage. Your priority should be to get the new passport asap. You should be able to continue your application with your new passport and documentation showing you lost and replaced your passport. Make sure you get the new passport on time as your 90day deadline will not be extended.

Please what CSR Cutoff would that be?
dtaminator:

Not exactly, only decline if your score has fallen below CRS cuttoff. If it has not, you are fine. Cc @blessedchild12
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by Julie2018: 6:50am On Dec 08, 2017
I doubt if the solution is declining. Read a thread online and it says I can raise a Case Specifc Enquiry to update information. My passport does not influence my points, that I am aware of. That’s why I need a contact number to reach CIC to bthe sure of what to do without speculating.

Anyone with a contact number for CIC!!!
