But you can try. I was in a similar situation last year, they refused to change it. But maybe mine was because I had gotten a confirmation mail and I had been assigned a candidate number. You can contact them through the phone as early as 8am on Monday.
Newbeecey: I have made payment, thats why I am more pensive about this.
I got PUM today!!! And I wish to share my story as a testimony to God's glory and in the hopes that someone might be encouraged, inspired, and motivated. (This post may be a bit long. Sorry)
AOR was July 25, 2017
At first, my application was refused. And as I read the refusal letter with shivers down my spine, I figured the VO based his/her decision singularly on insufficient funds. I was beyond crestfallen. I could not even wish that on my enemy. It came on an afternoon and I thanked God I did not drive to work that day cos I would't know how I would have fared behind the wheels. More painful was the fact that the rejection/refusal came after 134 days of agonizing wait! I had been so expectant since I felt I had satisfied every requirement. Meanwhile, a spike in FOREX rates around early August 2017 had relegated my POF below the LICO by 330CAD. Can you imagine that?!
I bottled it up. Never opened my mouth to tell a soul. I did not want to share the heartbreak with my family and close friends who knew I was on this train. So I reached out to my e-friends on this platform, chief of whom are Blackbuddy, 40manlappy, and GlitteringStar for solace and advice. I felt the reason for refusal was flimsy -- they thought so too. I was going to appeal!
Now, up until then, it's not been a common thing to see a refusal decision reversed. But my case was going to be different as I went to God in my unspeakable pain and disappointment. I cast all the burden on him with hope and faith. As advised, I sent the first email and raised a CSE showing that I indeed satisfied the POF requirement, with updated POF attached. After 3 days, my appeal was rejected. It was so devastating but I kept my cool. While me e-friends were following-up and asking for updates, I only told them IRCC were yet to respond. I kept praying. One week passed. Two weeks. Nothing. So, I sent another email, trying to make them see my point. I was begging for mercy, as advised. Failed again.
I had given up, turning my sights on PNP as my CRS had dropped to 427 and no chance of having the draws smile on me. This was January this year. Then on one Sunday evening, Tosin, who also experienced same, reached out to me again, saying I couldn't just be quiet and be waiting or just give up. Then I heard a little voice saying I should try again. I sent another email on Monday but instead got a refund of my RPRF. Damn! I caught a cold that night. Managed to get home. Struggled through the week. Then God provoked me himself - a colleague of mine, who applied after me, got PPR. We congratulated him but I was very sad deep inside. Mine was coming, I shrugged. That night, I drafted another email - this time stating my utter displeasure and showing the unfairness in the refusal decision - and I sent it directly to the minister! I remember I said a silent prayer before clicking the send button: Lord, don't let this one return the way others did.
The next day, I saw a notification, my application had been reopened. I was asked to pay the 490CAD RPRF. I returned the money they had earlier rejected back to them. 3 days later, I got PPR! Now happening so fast I could barely remember the pains I had felt a month ago. I was overjoyed and broke the news to my family and friends - they did not know the underlying story, did not need to. The devil is a liar!!!
AOR to PPR = 184 days
I want to appreciate the selfless efforts of everyone on this platform. And to those of us expecting one thing or the other on this Canadian journey, God will make it all end in praise. Thank you all! God bless!!!
And Wura27 should be ready to add me to that WhatsApp group.
If you haven’t, you can register for the 7th April, make payment ASAP and let the later date 21st cancel on it’s own. But note that you cannot register for the same date twice
Newbeecey: Please help o!!!! In addition, after i registered for IELTS the earliest dat available at the time was 21st April (tried 7th April but I was notified that it was fully booked). However I just realized that 3 days after when trying to register for the hubs that 7th April is now available (guessing they cancelled some people's registration). My question is, is it possible to have my exam rescheduled to an earlier date, anyone had such experience; please confirm ASAP so I can try to switch dates. Thanks
I'm very thankful to God because I've received the golden mail and I don't know how to celebrate!

Some highlights of my application includes; 1. My POF = T-Bills(3months) + Generic Bank Ref Letter + 6months SOA + Gift of deed (100% amount from direct family). My total POF is in the T-Bills, explained this in my LOE. 2. Proof of employment = Reference letter (included NYSC experience) + Pay stubs. 3. There was a mistake in my spouse's name on our daughter's birthday cerficate, so I attached an affidavit (confirmation of name) together with the document to clarify this. Also explained this in my LOE. 4. Educational documents= Degree certificates + WES. I didn't include IELTS certificate although I registered the certificate number somewhere else in my application. 5. My spouse hasn't officially changed her name so I submitted our application with her maiden name. Our marriage certificate was enough proof I guess. 6. Passport photos = We took our final printed photos (50x70mm) from "Study 24" ahead of time. I scanned and resized it to the required specification (35x45mm) (using MS software) and used it for Post ITA submission. That's all I can remember off the top of my head and I hope it helps. Thanks to everyone that has ever communicated on this thread (names too numerous to list), it was very helpful! For those still hoping for better IELTS scores, please try again and give it all you have this time. For those still expecting the silver mail, please be very hopeful. Try to improve your CRS, while in the pool if you need to. For those still anticipating towards receiving the golden mail, it will certainly come! I'm wishing everyone here the very best and remember it will end in praise!
dtush: I dont even know where to start to show my appreciation to my creator.

Thank you to everyone that helped me on this journey. The lord will favour you all.
Happy Valentine’s Day to you all! I woke up to a nicely packaged gift from the King of all Kings this morning. PPR mail dropped at about 5am today. Below is my timeline:
About the WES, you can reach them on+1 (416) 972-0070 or 00 91 212-9666311 and request for a WES Canada account with a different email address preferably. Then make payment for your ECA and call again to request that your documents be transferred to WES Canada from WES USA( usually takes 2-3 working days)
Please also note that to reach WES on the phone. It is easier to call them almost immediately after their opening hours(I think 2pm or 3pm Nigerian time)
BOLAUWA: Hello gurus in the house. good day. thanks for all d good work here. please I have some questions to ask. 1) I already have WES evaluation done by WES USA.Dunno if I can request that it be sent to Canada to evaluation.
2) i have ielts academic version, and d result is really good. is it possible to apply to Canada for express entry with this result?
3) I have a denial with d USA under 214b, does it affect my application?
It means your application will be completed on or in some cases before 2nd of March
area74: I was just lucky to get my verification done on friday. Verification request was sent by WES to LASU since November but nothing was happening. So, i went to the school on Thursday and discovered that there was skeletal activities going on by NASU. I learnt that the union gave two weeks concession that lasted on Friday 9/2/2018 in order to prepare for the forthcoming convocation. In fact, I was there when the union people wanted to send people out from the ICT building where Exams and Records is located.
I only hope that they will allow the skeletal work to continue. I am done with the verification. It was sent to WES yesterday and was acknowledged same day.
Please, who understands this message from WES as stated in my account because I was hoping that this process shouldn't take this long: 'Your evaluation is in progress. You are not required to do anything at this time. Your evaluation is due for completion on 3/2/2018'
God is great!! Congratulations to you and your family

Back in 2015 when I first found the Part 1 of this thread and looked into the requirements, especially amount, I just closed the page jeje. Then sometime again late 2016, my husband and I started to look into checking out of this una Naija. We considered Ghana and Cote D'Ivoire, something brought me back to the first thread and this time, the figure was no longer out of our reach, to the glory of God.

Never ever doubt the work of God, delay is never denial.
GlitteringStar: There is a section (statutory questions) where you will be asked questions/details about any visa denials. Answer the questions truthfully and provide necessary details. You can use the LOE to explain any other issue you want to explain about the visa denials.
With regard to the marital status issue, I don't think I have an idea.
Please as regards travel history. What are the likely documents they request for if you declare visa refusals?
I had been refused a UK (4years ago) and US visa a while ago, but I only have supporting documents for the refusal of the UK one not the US one.
Plus I was traditionally married at the time of the US refusal(not long ago) and I stated that I was married in the process. But i started my EE process as a single lady and have now received ITA, but I haven’t done my white or court wedding yet.
What are the likely challenges I might face please.
