Wait till Monday, if nothing happens.. Go to Lagos vfs.. Just like you want to collect your passport.. Hopefully, it should be there.. You just collect and go home jeje.. If it's not there, then you ask what to do there.

I submitted same day and have been receiving emails.. Probably you didn't give them the correct email to send tracking to... But still you can track it with the code on the sticker..

Hubby got a new passport.. No different from the initial one.

Should he submit both old and new or just the new one?

You’ve to book appointment on vfs website.

Documents:
-2 duly signed consent forms.
-2 copies of passport data page
-Passport Request Letter
-Yellow / white biometric slip

Put all this inside a brown envelope.

Means it's been approved.. This is seen only after decision is being made.. Then your ppr will be requested till its closed

I was asked just three questions.

Purpose of trip ?

Why Canada?

How many days do I plan on using?

Do I have a return ticket? Said yes, it was requested for and my passport was stamped, all in less than a minute.

Though I prepared for secondary inspection, cause it’s my first time leaving Nigeria and my first ever visa application.

Kindly note though, some were not asked for return ticket, some where asked for hotel reservations/pta.

I travelled with a PTA of about 2700$, the funny stuff was that the Nigerian immigration did not check and I wasn’t asked at the Canadian border.

Different questions for different people at the border though

Cash or card?

Were you asked about return ticket?

Where you asked about your stay duration?

Which port of entry?

Then I saw on the tracker that they got my travel document that was sent to them ( which I didnt send I'm guessing my agent did)

They requested more doc.. After this email, was there another mail on tracker? If not.. Probably you still have time to get your portal right and know which documents is required.. That's if you have not been refused already for not providing the doc.

One of the message came in 02 may saying that they need a document from me to continue with my application I'm guessing the document needed was my new international passport as the old one expired already, of which I didn't see the mail till I got a new mail that a message has been provide on my application I should check on the portal that's on 03 June 2023 then the next day I got the mail that your status has changed and I signed in I didnt see my application I used the tracker it showed application in progress, eligibility done
So I'm confused

He can click on the option for a new biometrics.. That Way he will get a new UCI

Before the employment offer from the employer?
Didn’t u have any interview with the employer?
Is the agent a licensed immigration consultant for IRCC?

At times LMIA can take lots of time especially when you’re outside Canada 🇨🇦

I’ll suggest, you research broadly on the employer via google search their company etc
Or, you confront the agent to give you details about the application after all you’re paying for his/her services

I Applied for conference visa with my colleague through my company in 2020 as a group. We did biometric together, her application has been approved and passport stamped since over a month now, but I have not heard anything from then on my application...

I checked the tracker is says Eligibility completed, Biometric completed, background check in progress since over 2 months.

Please, what could be the problem
