Yes UK NIN.

There is nothing like that UK NiN ,what you need to use to work is Brp and you are automatically applying for it when filling your Visa application while in nigeria and not when you already in uk

Your visa vignette will usually be given around your course start date, then you need to travel,sort out accommodation,apply for NIN and start searching for jobs .

Before all these happens you are ready to enrol for your course.

Let me be sincere with you, most nigerians that got their UK care employment got very early wen the program was newly launched and still freah unfortunately right now most UK employer are not willing to employ from abroad again as they discover it much cheaper to employ within UK as alot of foreign UK masters student regardless of fields are showing interest and taking care Job more than before and even with the influx of Ukrainians too is not helping the matter at all.
The faster route to get a care job is either you have the true industry experience with convincing evidence which the employer dont mind paying heavily to bring u in or find a uk master to do that will make bring u to uk and give you the eligibility to work in uk .Anything apart from this " go hard gan "!!

Working in NHS doesn't really give any information on his Visa category cos there are accountanta,lawyer etc also working there too
, The visa route depends in the visa category your husband is on wether he is on health and care visa or others (skilled workers) .

check the visa category of ur partner very well o… If they are on work or student visa, this is a temporary visa and so your visa is not spouse visa. Also spouse visa has never taken 3 to 4 wks to process from time immemorial, so agn go chk ur partner’s visa category and apply under the right place. Your passprt tht will expire in feb 2023 is fine

thanks for your response, yes you are right, partner's visa category is work visa (nursing , health & care )and the processing time for dependent visa of that category takes around 3 weeks according to uk.gov portal, I just want to know if the old passport can still suffice for August application without any repercussions.

If someone is applying for spouse visa by August which the processing period takes like 3-4 weeks and the passport will expire by February next year ,is it still advisable to go ahead with the same passport or

Marriage certificate is not even compulsory self cos uk recognize partners as well ,what matter is proof that you have been together for nothing less than 2 years

What happens if someone sponsored job that took him to uk is removed from Soc list by home office and he has just spent 6 month out of 3 years sponsored tier 2 contract .

I believe you will still have chance to finish your remaining years of your contract regardless of changing immigration rules ,(although I stand to be corrected sha o ),let wait for our elders contributions on this same issue

I was in a similar situation, I think the question asked is " Will they be traveling with you to the UK?" I ticked No. However, at the end where they asked for additional info, I mentioned that they would join me later. I don't think it would affect their application. When they are ready, all they need to do is provide your cos number and the required documents as stated previously on this thread.

The answer is "No" since they you won't be traveling together at that instant.
Dependants applications are automatic and can be opened anytime they wish to join the main applicant.

Probably the format they follow is most instances is to use the latter of the two : date the application is approved or the date applicant is willing to travel

The vignette (visa) on my passport is valid for 3 months, Obviously for entry. Valid from the date I indicated on my application that i want to travel.

Check your vignette ,3 month validty should start from the date when your application was approved by DMC .
