I was born in Lagos stayed there till after my junior waec ND I never witnessed any of such there. I heard about it once but until I moved to Abuja and started my SS1 I don't have an encounter..
GSS kuje Abuja to be precise where I started my ss1 I witnessed it consistently. There was a particular period when it was happening day in day out. While I could believe that the girls might just be pretending, I can't explain those strength displayed by her and the male voice she was speaking with..

I have never had a physical or personal encounter with the spiritual/supernatural.

I believe I lack enough information to prove that what happened was not spirirtual.
However, the day I personally encounter such "possessed" creatures, I beleive I would have a totally natural and unspiritual explanation for the incident.

Ive read and enjoyed post by most of our brothers who are Atheist on this platform particularly seun and billyonaire and ill like to complement them for their supreme ideas as its almost impossible to factually defeat them when it comes to religion. i enjoyed their sportmanship and i must admit at a point in time i was also considering their ideas on becoming an atheist. While i was still able to stand my ground on being a beleiver, ill like to hear seuns and his colleuges thoughts on JINNS (spiritual creatures that posses human mostly females). well i scholed in the northern part of the country and during my secondary school days, i could tell you multiple experienced faced by theses set of creatures. there was a particular time when it was possesing our girls on a steady. i mean we barely go a day without an incident. the most suprising incidence i ever witnessed was when it possesed a girl and it took more than 5 heafty guys to stop her even after they were able to contain her, she was talking with a mans voice. i experienced it my self if you doubt this you can take your time and visit one of the northern state secondary school. it wont take you long to witness one yourself am sure. Now my question is,
1, If everything is about nature and no spirituality how did this happen?
2, Why do these creatures react in pains when the Quran is being recited on them? Seun and other atheist, idd love to hear your opinion on this..

I was in school, unibuja to be precise when some kogi students who were anti yahaya bello were claiming yaha bellow would still win and that nothing can be done. I was like does he have that strong followership despite his poor performance? they said nobody likes him, even his igbra people hates him.
I then ask why do they think he would win then, they claimed nobody can stop him. that was when i understood what mW friend has always been saying about kogi.

Nigerian Senate Proffers State Police, Proper Funding As Solutions To Banditry
The lawmakers berated the Nigerian government over its inability to tackle the alarming rate of insecurity in the country, stressing that introduction of state Police remained the only solution to the menace.

The Nigerian Senate has said state policing and proper funding of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) are the solutions to the banditry in some North-Western states of Nigeria.
Bukola Saraki, Nigeria’s Senate President, said this during the plenary on Wednesday, following a motion by Senators Emmanuel Bwacha from Taraba State and his colleague from Zamfara State, Kabir Marafa.
The lawmakers berated the Nigerian government over its inability to tackle the alarming rate of insecurity in the country, stressing that introduction of state Police remained the only solution to the menace.
Responding to the motion of the two lawmakers, the Senate President said apart from the establishment of community or state police, the funding of the Nigeria Police Force was essential to tackle the menace.
He said: “From the contributions we have had, I think it is key that we begin to look at the problem and look for long-term solutions. I think that what we did yesterday (Tuesday) in trying to strengthen the funding of the Police through the Police Reform Bill is right.
“The sooner that we can pass that bill will also help us in addressing the insecurity challenges.
“But more importantly is that we must go back to what a lot of us had been advocating here that there is the need for us to have state or community police. It is the way forward. Otherwise, we will continue to run into these problems.
“On the area of oversight, there is a lot also that we need to do to ensure that we hold the security agencies accountable. And we need to move very fast in this area.”
In its resolution, the Senate commended Nigerians, irrespective of cultural, religious and ethnic differences, for coming out in large numbers to show solidarity with the plight of victims of banditry in Zamfara.
The Senate also deliberated on making provision for N10billion in the 2019 appropriation bill as intervention fund to cater for Internally Displaced Persons and other persons affected by the activities of bandits in Zamfara State.
The Senate also urged the government to set up an ad hoc committee to be known as Presidential Initiative on Zamfara with a 10-year lifespan to manage the said funds and subsequent allocations and donations.
Marafa, who rose through orders 42 and 52 of the Senate standing rules to move his motion, said the problem of insecurity in Zamfara State was deteriorating daily, adding that this called for urgent legislative intervention.
Marafa said: “Since 2011, as a result of the unabating activities of the criminals in the state, roughly estimated 11,000 males have been killed, leaving behind an average of 22,000 widows and by extension, 44,000 orphans.
“These figures are just by conservative estimates because the figures are higher. Bandits and heavily armed kidnappers operate with little or no resistance in Gusau, the state capital, making less than 75 per cent of the people in Zamfara not to be sleeping in their houses.
“The situation has nothing to do with politics, because my own blood sister was brutally murdered in her matrimonial home in February this year and even two of my cousins were killed outside the state capital a few weeks back.”
Bwacha, on his own part, alerted the red chamber to the series of kidnappings in his state and suggested that there should be legislative backing for individuals who want to carry arms for self-defence.
The Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, commended Marafa for always bringing the deteriorating security situation in Zamfara to the front burner of discourse in the Senate.
He said: “For the government to tackle the security problem headlong, the abnormality of Nigeria being the only federation with centralised police, must be addressed.”
The Senate Chief Whip, Olusola Adeyeye, said the problem of the country was the constitution itself, which he noted, provided for an “over- centralised federation or better put, unitary system as against a federal system of government.”
According to him, as long as the problematic constitution is not amended by way of removing policing from the exclusive list to the concurrent list to pave the way for state police, criminality at local levels will continue unabated.

they were two of them who took the substance and the other guy is stable he claimed by bro took overdose. considering his reaction it seems very similar to that of my neigbour who always fights his parent.

There's this cousin brother of mine who has been into this weed stuff of a thing for over two years now.
he's a very calm and responsible boy that he managed to keep it secret for years now.

During this ASSU strike combined with holiday he seemed to go into the act full time that made me suspect him(my family detest smoking and drug abuse of all kind) so he still managed to keep it hidden.
fast forward to Sunday this week morning.
They called my dad who's highly respected in the family informing him about how my cousin was misbehaving insulting everyone in the family.
we went there together with my DAD and we were more than surprised about the information we Got.
this guy was talking to everybody anyhow, he even beat a small boy of about 12years and was claiming the boy has witch and he wants to show the boy that he's stronger than him. this my cousin bro is about 22years of age.
he was even talking to my dad without respect warning his uncles and elder brothers that he would deal with all of them.
that Sunday we took him to our home since his claims that day was that his brothers were the ones looking for his trouble.
he went in took his bath and eat.
after eating, we let him sleep for sometime with high hopes that he would cool off.
he did eventually cool off after waking up but was over reactive to things. he was full of confidence that we all just had to let him be and comply with him at that moment.

That night we slept in our house in my room together. at around 12am he woke me and told me(authoritatively) to relocate to the other room that he wants to pray.
I heeded to him not to provoke him after some few hours he called me again with high command ordering me to come which I did, he said I should stand still where I am and that I should tell him what time it was. I was trying to approximate the time and tell him he said that I should go back and check my phone which I did considering his situation.
he then said I should set alarm at 5:20 am so he can wake to subhi prayee(morning prayer), which I did.
after about every 30min till daybreak, he just walks in to my room to check time till that 5:20 when my alarm rang which he then woke the whole family for prayer.
he was walking to the mosque that morning with hands widely opened and full of confidence.
Monday morning we both were suppose to return back to school on Sunday evening but had to postpone till Monday cos of the situation.
he left my house as early as 8am claiming he has lecture by 10am that morning.
we both reside in different campus so I can't really tell much about his school life though.
this morning I was called that he refused going to school and that he was misbehaving again even adding me to his list of beefs. he claims no one can force or stop him and he was arrogant to the whole people in the community.
I called and asked if he smoked again and they claimed he didn't smoke since that Sunday morning and they've been watching him since then.
we later did some findings and found out that he bought this weed from a different supplier.
the boy who introduced him to this supplier is my neighbour who is a well known drug and weed abuser.
the guy has been in multiple situation fighting with his parents whenever he smokes.

pls and pls nairalanders, I would like you guys to proffer solution as we wouldn't like to take him to psychiatric except the needs be.
