Please do you know of any good private school that has low tuition fee within abuja city.

We can't afford all those with 200k and above.
try those schools located inside military barrack. They are cheaper and highly competitive...

Despite kaduna being northwest, a supposed core Muslim northern region, they still have more Christians than Niger state.
It doesn't matter where your geographically from to me, what should matter is standing out your tribe visinity in that region.
The Hausas are not even up to 50% in some core northern states..

Register your ward in any government school in Abuja.

Govt schools are doing very fine in Abuja - both the primary and secondary.

In fact they perform far better than most of the expensive private schools.

Only qualified graduate teachers are employed in all government schools in Abuja - that is one great legacy that el-rufai left behind in Abuja.

If you are in Garki, visit the govt primary and secondary school in Area 1 and the one in Area 10.

You can also try some real missionary schools like that catholic primary and secondary school at Area 10 and that Anglican primary and secondary in Zone 5.
nah!! The primaries are way behind their counterparts in private schools.
Yea but in secondary I can say yes.
Better still I'll suggest Fgc kwali

No system of govt is perfect not even democracy, but then again, I know for sure no bad leader lasts not even emperors.
So just chill, if democracy had favoured majority of your citizens, I'm sure you won't be the poorest country in the world, so it's only natural you try something new.
I won't fall for cheap personal propaganda on things, and I'll advice ecowas not to military involve in a collaborative decision of a sovereign state.

guy, pls don't talk about improved wage as solution, considering very high inflation rate and unemployment. Accept the fact that APC destroyed Nigeria. B4, I could afford to put on gen from 6pm till 12am. Now, I can manage to put it on from 7-9pm. That alone passes all the message. How was standard of living b4 APC? Be frank sir
you could have continue enjoying life that way but then again, at a point you won't be able to afford even the 7 to 9 when the subsidy has completely consumed our budget.
That way even with subsidy, you might still be buying fuel at over 400naira per litre cos by then the FG would have printed more monies that would have completely killed the value of the naira.
Despite subsidy removal, you can see we are still battling poor exchange rate.
And only God knows the true value before things stabilises.

Does this administration have plans for anything
this administration have increased the igr of state (more than double of the previous) governors of every state including edo state so governors like Obaseki can do something from his own end.
This same government has given 5billion to every state governors including Obaseki to see how they improve things at state level.
This same government is working towards an much improved minimum wage of 60k that's highly sustainable and this same govt has been working over time to stabilise our weak naira using every policy they can hatch till now.
If you would have done better, tell us how.
PoliticsRe: Obaseki: I’m Scared Of FG’s Lack Of Plan For Nigerians After Subsidy Removal by jumper524(op): 8:01am On Aug 25, 2023
Saying the truth is much easier than solving the reality.
Obaseki really doesn't rate Nigerians to have this level of Audacity to speak this.

since president Tinubu inauguration, Obaseki has never attended NEC meetings to raise his observation and proffer a much better solution but then again, president Tinubu who has been taking measures and counter measures against our failing naira as well as working towards salary improvement is the culprit here.

I beg to ask, Obaseki is the state governor of oil producing edo state that receives a much better allocation than kaduna, can he please tell us what his plans were that failed so badly in the state that made the state has the worst state secondary schools in Nigeria while kaduna is now having one of the best?

Or Obaseki was not amongst the list of governors who hoarded covid 19 palliatives?

Probably election is by the corner and Tinubu is the person to insult to divert attention.
PoliticsObaseki: I’m Scared Of FG’s Lack Of Plan For Nigerians After Subsidy Removal by jumper524(op): 8:01am On Aug 25, 2023
Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, Wednesday, lashed out at the administration of President Bola Tinubu, saying he was shocked and scared of the government’s inability to plan and effectively respond to the fuel subsidy removal that further impoverished Nigerians, inflicting hardship and suffering on the people.

Obaseki made the assertion while addressing journalists in Benin City.

The governor described the federal government’s palliative concept as fraudulent, saying his administration would implement measures to “support” Edo people.

Obaseki’s comments came as the Katsina State government, yesterday, refuted a report that it had received N5 billion from the federal government as palliatives to mitigate the effect of fuel subsidy removal on the citizens.

Speaking to journalists in Benin City, Obaseki said he raised the alarm following the mismanagement of the country’s economy. He said the country’s situation was taking a turn for the worse due to bad policies by the government at the centre.

The governor said, “I have always warned. I warned Nigerians during the last May Day this year. I told them that we have come to the end of the road and that the old economic order in Nigeria is gone and we have to come up with a new economic order and stop deceiving ourselves as a nation.

“Now the subsidy is gone; the exchange rate is being aligned. The era of free money has almost come to an end. The consequence is that the weakest and most vulnerable in our society, unfortunately, will carry a huge part of the burden of these policies.”

He stated, “I am shocked that people who campaigned around the country, saying that they will remove subsidies, had no clear plans on what to do after subsidy removal. They don’t know what to do and how to support those who will be victims of subsidy removal.

“I am shocked and scared of what we are passing through today, where the government doesn’t seem to have a plan or solution on how to respond to the consequences of the policy measure put in place by their administration.”

Obaseki added, “With the way they have mismanaged our national economy, we have to deal with inflation, between 20 and 25 per cent. It means that the people will feel more pain, especially the weak and vulnerable in the society, particularly our pensioners, as whatever they get as their entitlement will do only little for them.”

Reaffirming his government’s commitment to the welfare and well-being of Edo people, the governor said, “For us in Edo State, we would not abandon you. We don’t like the word palliative because it is deceitful as we would rather use the word ‘support’. We would support those who are already victims of this policy measure.”

The policy from Meffy on paper was simple. you swap the bulk funds in circulation with new notes. you can simply use online and other payment methods for transaction not essentially physical cash
it was never a simple policy in reality.
Emefiele cut down the notice too short, he even stopped people from depositing their old funds with very limited time frame.

The whole scarcity was masterminded by those in APC who opposed the policy. They created an atmosphere of uncertainty which resulted in a run on the banks, that alone resulted in a situation whereby the banks couldn't supply the cash needs because the number of people who stormed the banks for withdrawal couldn't match the cash allotted daily.
wow!! So APC were the ones who masterminded our suffering during election so they can loose the election right?
And yet they wailed the most about it.

GENES11S:
The value didn't improve. It was stayed around 460 naira to dollar (official rate).

The only positive was that price of goods and services dropped significantly because of shortage of money. This itself means that some producers where overpricing their products thus leading to inflation.

Same strategy might not work this time because fuel price has tripled. So cost of production is now higher than before.
Bro till now some products are still over priced due to excess supply of cash.
And yea the naira to dollar gained lots of value during the naira scarcity.

Businessday NG

Exchange rate steadies amid new naira scarcity

If such policy continues, there won't be daily increase in the price of fuel due to exchange rate and it might force the fuel price to go down due to improvement of exchange rate at the parralel market.

APC is a party full of lies. They never see Emiefele's aim is to cut inflation rate down, but lied to their supporters that the policy is been targeted at Tinubu.
we all applauded Emefiele naira redesign at first, it was nay sayers who don't want anything good for the country that criticised it at first.
Our only complaint began when the supply of new notes were too limited that one can't even get the daily 5k limit from both ATM and POS. Your crew on the other hand started applauding the act when Nigerians were suffering from Emefiele incompetence.

when a hammer is all what you have, everything will look like a nail.

The inflation, Nigeria is suffering from transcends an excess of money supply, it mainly involves the drop in production, manufacturing and agriculture.
Farmers cannot farm in peace, the economy is suffocating SME, FX is showing manufacturers shege.
how comes the value of naira to dollar improve drastically when Emefiele implemented the naira redesign?
There was shortage of cash then I'm sure.
