Very informative!!..Mine happened fews years back as a medical house officer.I was going back to my room around 3am when I saw my consultants generator on fire. I quickly dashed to my car a grabbed my fire extinguisher; feeling like a hero already and dreaming of the goodwill that will be showered on me by my consultant .As I pressed and aimed the nozzle on the generator, nothing happened to my Utter disbelieve and shock. Finally it took the use of the normal fire extinguishers usually seen hanging on the walls to save the day. |

wasak: I really appreciate this in no small quantity. It's not as if I don't have girls on my radar, to be honest I know I have what it takes to attract any reasonable lady, but what's the essence of bn with someone you aren't attracted to? I'm still with her because I doubt if i can love any other girl like her. Perhaps this is a final conviction to call this thing off. But I've really given so much, I mean so so much Bro...you can't sacrifice your good heart for a life of constant regrets. A girl that loves you won't give you this so much stress cos love is all about sacrifice. Its a two way thing..And it is not forced. |

BraniacX: hahahahaha! I Laugh in sanskrit. U're funny dude, did i say Nigerian doctors are not doing well abroad? Read well ma guy, my condemnation was for Nigerian trained doctors working in Nigeria and i guess u're one of them. Go and ask our Nigerian beacons in the medical proffesion abroad where they acquired the medical certificates they used to gain employment from, whether it was a Nigerian or U.S/European medical college certificate.
And who says am a JOHESUITE? Damn! Typical NMAITE(might be wrong on that though) Attacking the messenger while completely ignoring the message. Shame on you! Re: the devil would actually be terribly dissapointed with the truths i told. Then I guess you don't understand that you only have to pass the United states medical licensing Exams to work in USA..all foreign trained Medical Graduates also partake in it. Then when you say 99 percent of Drs working in Nigeria are not capable..then you of all people are most Ignorant.I can't help you... |

BraniacX: i wouldn't say i was, neither would i say i wasn't, i'll leave it to you to judge, so please tell me, was i denied admission if i was required to grease the palms of certain proffesors in the faculty of medicine at the point of admission but couldn't? And yes, i know you'll claim you didn't either, seriously you didn't? And no one you know of either? Keep lying to yourself dude. Also, did you read through my post? Would you refute any point i raised or just zero it down on my assumed bitterness? Did you notice that i was only criticizing "NIGERIAN TRAINED" doctors?
If you need to know and only if, i was only bitter for the first two years or so into school due to my conclusion that there was apparent injustice but as kids must grow up, so did i, now i look back and realize that it was a blessing in disguise and i dodged a bullet so no hard feelings here dude plus i know what i know because i have many doctor friends and when they go abroad e.g the U.S, 99% of them fail the medical board exams and have to restart medical school again. So prove me wrong if you can. mmmhhh...Devil will be ashamed of your lies..Keep Drs out of our Mess abeg..for your info..I know too well that Nigerian Drs are shining beacons in USA and Europe..so face the govt jaare..Hopeless JOHESUITE |

Q rhymz: Can people stop twisting the facts and reality on ground.... residents are not even licensed doctors so what is this talk about the hospitals coming to a halt because medical graduate trainees have been sacked. Are you guys for real. With or without Resident docs, the teaching hospitals can run fine, all the management need to do is make little changes and tweaks here and there. The absence of residents can not stop a hospital from running, for God's sake these guys are a little above the medical students.
Do you all know the other levels above residents who are already licensed and can perform without supervision? There are specialists, fellows and consultants, all doctors..... So how does the suspension of the residency program equate to sacking 16000 doctors.... Na only residents dey work for FG hospitals ni? Abeg let's be realistic, these guys had it coming when they left the profession and started a power tussle and politics first with colleagues and in extension with the FG their employers. They allowed the consultants to use them as pawns forgetting that they are just graduate trainees who can be used to out fears in the mind of their bosses. your ignorance is out of this world...I pity you |

deeobserver209: I used to support these doctors but when I got to learn how political their strike dived into and their superiority complex, I withdrew my support for them. The main bone of contention is the demand for the establishment of the office of the 'Surgeon General of the Federation' which they argue should be established to take care of Health care matters in the country, just like the situation in the United States. But things got crappy when they insist that only Doctors be appointed as a Surgeon General. Arguing that doctors are more qualified for the position considering the amount of time they spend on their course of study. This didn't go down well with the nurses who feel that such plan would only subjugate nurses to the background. The nurses were of the oppion that the office of the Surgeon General should be left wide open for whoever will be qualified to occupy, be it Nurse or a Doctor. They cite an example with the United States were the current Surgeon General is a Nurse. Get ur facts right..before you vomit rubbish here |

Imagine the height of wickedness and heartlessness, denying the common Nigerian of quality and cheap medical service, while they are all busy making money in their private clinics. I think the first step should be to ban all doctors under the FG payroll from owning a private hospital. Let's see how far they will go with their incessant strike actions. Story story..I wonder how many Drs actually own private practices... Gullible Nigerians |
