Ajgal10:Hello Oma Igala. Wich of the affected communities are you from? I am Oganenigu. |
Fourteen villagers returning from the Mosque were killed in a remote village in Dekina local government yesterday morning. The victims who are mostly children and women were returning from early morning prayers when the murderous herdsmen struck. The group of Herdsmen are reportedly led by a woman and have attacked other neighboring villages in recent times. The Fulani Herdsmen also attacked Itakpe and Ate-uge this morning leaving an unconfirmed number of people dead. More updates latter. |
Honestly i dn't understand this news. Nowhere is it stated explicitly that a whole head was removed and replaced. This kind of news should be explained in simple terms abeg. No be dis one where be like say the OP de hide information. |
Thérè are worse than. |
OK |
UPDATE: The Fulanis have attacked and killed more people in Igala land. This time around it is Idah local government area. An interior village was also burnt down in Omala local govt. I guess the Igalas can now fight an all out war on them. |

eejo:updates coming in are that the people of Agojeju village in Dekina local government were coming from the Mosque early in the morning when they were attacked by the murderous herdsmen. Meanwhile the people of my village Oganenigu(a few kilometres to Agojeju) were were warned on the phone that about 25 armed Fulani men were headed in the direction of their villages. Of course the Fulani men made their way through the bush and launched a surprise attack on the unprepared villagers. Meanwhile, my people will never lose hope. Our youths have mobilised to disperse them. Several of them who escaped after attacking some other villages were caught up with and dealth with seriously in Egume town all in the same /ekina local govt. The war is onging, even though security operatives have been deployed, we the youths will make sure we play our God-given duty. In the meantime, the Fulanis have moved their families to Taraba state, preparing to comeback with a formidable force. My only regret is that this is not happening in the local govt where the Igalas are fighting the Igbos in Odekpe. Those guys fighting the Igbos are actually our warriors, they have always fought wars on behalf of the Igalas and we seriously depend on them most times to counter strong "Juju" especially the type these Fulani herdsmen use. Hopefully they will be engaged to come and fight this battle on behalf of their Igala brothers. |
egift:Any xtian fielded will always win. Political party or pedigree doesn't work in Taraba. Just as a Xtian will always lose governorship in Kano state even if fielded against an ordinary councillor. |
ocelot2006:The dominant tribe is Mumuye and not Jukuns. The Jukuns are only dominant in politics. |
Angel196:I would love to know when and how the crises started. Are i sayin this crises in particular started two years ago? I believe i know a bit about taraba but i would love to know your opinion. |
Angel196:Why are you going hysterical? In the end you didnt even say anytin to justify your annoyance, wat is wrong? |
I warned about this yesterday. Most people commenting on threads here have never been to Taraba and do not understand how politics goes on there. I witnessed and conducted the last election in Taraba as an ad hoc staff and was baffled at the pattern of voting there. APC won in every muslim village or polling unit while the opposite was the case for pdp. One has to thread softly here because politics is sensitive in that area. Its like having a christian as governor in Kano state although the religious balance isnt as steep. |

chukwudi44:Just as we warned theç yesterday, religious violence has erupted in Wukari Local Govt of Taraba state. Wukari is the home of the pdp governor. |
Just as i, Chukwudi44 and others warned yesterday, kiliings have started in Taraba state, Wukari local govt to be specific. The people of Taraba do not want a Muslim governor and they will fight to the last to pass this message across. |
If Naija divides, the middlebelt states will ally to produce another country. States like Kogi, Benue, Nasarawa, Taraba, Plateau, Abuja, Niger, southern Kaduna and Southern Adamawa etc should be here. The yorubas in Kogi and Kwara will finally go back home to their brothers. Any other interested border state fit join sha. But the amount of poverty na die e go be. Haha |

why you de derail this thread na? And why should we appreciate you? What have you done that should be appreciated? I rather appreciate God, and thats not because you said so. Happy Birthday anyway. |

donofdons:That is my greatest fear for that state, religious crises. |
homirefacuny:My brother, if you are a Taraba xtian you may not really consider a Muslim as person o. Religion de very important in that state. When Taraba recruited staff for their teaching service board about a year ago, about 1000 appointments were made, less than 250 and fifty were xtians. It was simply because the acting governor was a muslim.when GEJ was stoned on his campaign visit to Jalingo, it was in a Muslim dominated part of the town that his convoy was stoned. So many other evidences exost for their deep religious sentiments. |
Jojuab:She was not elected either. Find something else to say. Tnx |
Cain and Abel. Male and Male. |
It is only through a tribunal judgement that A muslim (Mama Taraba or any other muslim) can be governor in that state. The majority christians there will never ever vote a muslim as governor. For the xtians, party affiliation ceases to determine votes when the candidate is a muslim, in other words, an APC supporter will likely vote a xtian PDP man than his party candidate. Congrats to her anyway. Taraba xtians yi hakuri and i hope they wnt be a religious crises over this. |
Dongata:He is a fool right? I was learning German until i lost my study book. Could you be of help? |
Rivers APC accuses Wike of being a sole dictator because he hasn't appointed cabinet his members. PMB is doing the same at the federal level but we havnt heard them complain o. Instead they keep making up excuses for him. Mtcheeew. This government of negative and positive changes sef. |
Is there a corelation between PMB's coming to power and these falling containers? Or did our news outlets recently discover some Black gold in the art of reporting falling of containers? |
mylifemyrules:if u listen to him every sundayu will hear most of his prophecies. U cant just sit in ur house watchin christ embassy tv station and expect to hear prophecies from another pastor. I have heard TB Joshua prophecy some things and they came to pass. I have also heard him prophecy and they have never happened. If you want to hear these prophecies before they happen, listen to his sunday sermons. One prophecy that i believe has not come to pass was when he said a certain young man from northern Nigeria or so will come and rule Nigeria and everything will be good again. I cnt remember exactly what he said but GEJ came a year latter and didnt fit his description. Pmb is an old man and doesnt fit too. |
