oyero1: qatar airways with 2 stops @ Doha and Barcelona respectively.

Thanks.

Adroitbabz:

Qatar Airways....with 2 stops of like 2hours each. You should enjoy it if you love adventure smiley

Hmmmm.. I've used Qatar several times, their on board service is world class. I love adventure but those stops leave you wandering around the airport like a lunatic. No adventure at all. One stop is fine, but 2 is a NO for me.

adegbebi: thanks for the replies. But to be honest, if I was gonna stay back in the US,I would ave stayed back probably during one of my previous visits...I do wanna ave an associate degree that relates what my line of job.then I can move further for masters in the same line.but I appreciate your contributions.I will stay back and apply for mba in one of the suitable schools..
Thanks

On that note, follow this advice.

slimmy05: Stay back apply for masters spring 2015. Write gre, dont give vo any chance.

He never told you he wanted masters. Do you need a native doctor to tell you this person doesn't want to go to school but wants something to keep him in the states? He may deny this. Wetin concern me? I have already advised based on what I have perceived.

Graviton2: Mr. Adegbebi,

To be frank, there are things wrong with your case.

1. You have already made your mark at the embassy as a potential immigrant. You applied for migration, right? Your daughter was born in the States too. These scream: Potential Immigrant — Just saying.

2. You are applying to a community college. Most high school graduates applying for a visa with a CC I-20 don't often get it, they find it extremely difficult...your age, status and Bsc qualification only makes applying for a F1 visa with CC even more difficult and utterly illogical — You should be going for a Masters degree.

3. The course you are applying for holds no relation to your Bsc course and I seriously doubt you actually have any intention of going for your studies.

Anyway these are just a few of the things wrong with your profile. Goodluck to you though.

Well outlined. They will only be more lenient with his case if he is applying while in the states. I just don't see any way out if he applies from here. Dem fit even revoke the B2 visa.
Travel / Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part5 by juntod: 4:35pm On Jul 08, 2014
Joenice: @adegbebi, you have a chance simply because you've been to the US and of having many years work experience. It's been over 5 years. But I am not advising anyone here to go to the embassy with community college admission. kiss

No chance at all. He already has Bsc, wife and kids. A community college is definitely a red flag. A masters degree would be the best shot.

adegbebi: Hello house. I have been here for a while reading through the posts and have been majorly impressed with every one to be honest.
I am applying for the Us student visa to study Business Management AAS (associate of art) at Houston community college.I have a bsc in political science since 2004, I have been working in the financial sector for about 6 to 7 years now and presently I am the head of group sales in my company.i currently have a us visa that will expire sometime in august 2015, and I just got back from the us on 30th of june for a short holiday.i am expecting my i20 which should hopefully get to me before next Friday. so my questions are..
1. do I have a chance?
2. whats the process of paying for the sevis fee and how much is it?
3. is the sevis fee only payable in cotonou? cant we pay in nija here or I get some1 to pay for me in the usa?
4.the school resumes on august 28th.i hope I am still on track , and I hope the short time wount be a contrain.
5.i am married and I have two children... infact we just had my 2nd child in the usa in January 2014 so my daughter is a us citizen but my wife and my son and I are running on a visiting visa which are still very valid....so can this affect me negatively?
6.the school does not require toefl or ielts for the programme but I have a result of ielts dat I did like 3 months ago but for migration..but I scored 6.0 in it...WHAT CAN YOU SAY TO DIS?
7.The programme will run for about two years, but there is arrangement for my family upkeep...What can you say to this?
8.I am sponsoring myself..Does it matter?

please house..respond
Thanks

Pls do not go near the embassy with this your profile. My advice is that you return to USA with your B2 visa and convert it to F1 over there. The international students office in your school will assist you. Gather more info from the link below.

shakol91: Junto,slimmy05,Graviton,Amerifa,joenice,stewee and the rest please explain this now. Mind the words in quote. You can as well explain from your area of study not necessarily with Accounting Education, but just want to know maybe Certificate In Education goes with M.sc outside Nigeria or undergraduate Degree in Education only goes with Masters in Education outside Nigeria

If you studied Accounting Edu, you can get admitted into Masters in Accounting. Be prepared to tell the VO a good reason why you wish to deviate from Edu.

Fadekemi001: Hello house

Am new here but have always been online going through everyone's Chat and contribution and I saw that it has been so helpful to many me inclusive. I need your help house my visa interview is this week thursday and am confused about two issue and one is: I am an undergraduate here in nigeria in my 2nd year but first semester as a chemistry student and I only have my first semester 100 level result with me and that was what I used to apply for admission to the international school and thank God I was admitted with 1/3 scholarship award of the full fees for my staying. The issue with me now is am thinking of a question like why don't you go on with Your studies here in nigeria? From the VO. And my second issue is I don't want the vo to be aware of the level I am now in my present university and I wrote waec 2010 but am just 19 years old (I.e dec 2014)and I gain admission into a uni here in nija 2012. House seriously am so confused and inexperienced, please help me out with your advise and suggestions, that will be highly appreciated by me thanks.

Simply tell the VO about the difference in the quality of edu in Nig and USA. You only started the program here cos you were still too young at the time you finished high school. Your parents wanted you to be a bit more matured before you travel out for the final years of your program.

chidexhenry: Helo ous I nid to kn hw WES does their tins oo...evaluation of transcripts, their charges, and hw they will help me transfer my transcript to my sch. Also hw do I send to my transcript to them? do I apply first? pls ous help me throw light on dis. it's urgent! still want kn if MURRAY state uni.is a red flag.tanks.

I will be very blunt with you. If you like hate me. The fact that this forum is set out to help doesn't mean you come here and ask questions without doing your own research. Your concern borders on virtually every process of WES which clearly indicates that you have not even bothered to do any research on your own. You even went as far as asking about their charges? Go and visit www.wes.org you will find everything you need there. If you find any confusing area, feel free to come back and ask. So many people won't survive foreign education system if we continue to spoon feed here.

Feexo: Graviton, the date of flight is August 9th.

Please somebody tell me where they are currently writing Toefl in Lagos.

Honeyad, I choose Isolo on my online form, but the VO did not circle anything on my paper, and I got an email not long ago asking me to come pick my passport at Isolo. Generally, the place you fill determines where you pick your passport unless you wanna change the location. Why not follow Graviton's advise?

French connection, LandMark building, Ikota, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos. Another one at Ilupeju, don't know the exact address

Walspring: House, someone asked me this question and i need you people in the house to assist me and put the person through because i told her my own opinion and she want more opinion....

"Please what's the best way to create home ties with this situation''..

My uncle is my sponsor, and he owns the company that would be sponsoring my Master's programme, I would like to work with his firm upon the completion of my Degree Programme though I currently work in another company , and they are ready to grant me study leave, stating I would be the head of a unit in the company upon the completion of my Program as well ....

I don't know if I should tell the V.O that I would be working with my Uncle(sponsor) or the firm I currently work with after leaving the United States... Please which creates better home ties?

Definitely, the company he works for at the moment is a better home tie if they have a notarized letter stating that he will be retained and even promoted upon return after studies.. He can also verbally state that even if the company do not honour their promise on the long run, an offer in his uncles company is open to him any day any time.
