you can keep typing nonsense aint got your time. Kazikazi: Yes,you live a better life on that per capita report. But on ground... Your own people are sold as slaves in Libya,a higher per capita didn't help either!
Your life expectancy is lower than TZ,the higher per capita couldn't help either.
Dude,TZ don't compete with u. We are too different....
Our population is way bigger Our land mass and geography is too different Our culture, way of life etc are too different Our huge resources, potentials are way greater than u Then our thinking is way too different
Really, TZ can't and won't compete with Ghana. Its senseless.Just imagine... Constructing over thousands of electrified SGR is a normal thing in TZ,but to Ghana, may be few hundreds of kms will work fine to you!
Constructing a cable cars at Kilimanjaro mountain is a must to us,but to you, cable cars are not needed may be
Doing over 1,000 heart surgeries per year is normal in TZ or SA,but to Ghana, that isn't normal
Having underwater hotel in TZ is normal, but to Ghana,I don't know
Sending aid to cyclone victim in Mozambique its normal thing by Tanzanians, but I wonder about ghananians
Constructing cable bridges, brt lanes, and stuff it is normal in TZ,I don't know about Ghana
Dude,we are not competing with you! |

The reality is, A Ghanaian lives better than a Tanzanian To be able to catch up, you guys will have to develop your country and move people out of poverty. Increase wages such that people can have breathing space. Kazikazi: You get GDP per capita by simply deviding your total GDP by your total population. In a case of Ghana, the monies from oil,gas and gold are devided by your population and the results will show your GDP per capita. But the question is..
Are all monies gained from gold export enter the pockets of ordinary folks?
Are the monies gained from oil and gas exports enter into the pockets of ordinary folks?
The answer is a big NO. That is a fake picture of Ghana. On paper looks good, but in reality things aren't great. Most of monies from gold are going into big pockets of multinationals, so as your oil and gas monies. You are not alone.. Equatorial Guinea is a good study case. The folks there has higher GDP per capita than folks in SA.But surprisingly, without a doubt,SAns has a way far better life than your folks in equatorial Guinea.
The answer is clear... Oil,and mining are the sectors which are dominated by foreign companies and usually they employ very few people. Most of the profits from these sectors goes overseas.Besides that, most of these companies don't pay appropriate taxes. At the end, ordinary folks are onlookers, they are not participating economically.Their last destiny is in Libya sold as slaves leaving a higher GDP and all bullshit of per capita in their shitholes.
Equatorial Guinea higher per capita than SA,but SAns are having a way better life.
Ghana higher per capita than TZ,but TZns are having a better life( with higher life expectancy than ghananians) |

Before you can go head to head with SA, you will first have to catch up to us. For now, you can only dream Kazikazi: TZ don't compete with ghana! And I dont think we will ever compete with you.Just relax,we are not after you. The only country we can go head to head is SA in this region, but Ghana, ooooh gosh,no way! |

babytoun: From this statement your dishonesty is no longer veiled ...
What a useless ,illogical excuse ...and if that is the case the police should have been bold enough to supervise the demolition .
you guys are very dishonest ...and I mean it My statement does not have dishonesty in it. Pick a day, go and observe that area You won't find any heavy-duty car driving in that area until night. The duty of the Police does not include supervision of demolitions unless 1. Order by a court to be present. 2. Requested by the one going to do the demolitions in order to ensure Law and Order, in accordance with how police detail are given. |

Ghanaians do not hate themselves We tease each other with our differences and marvel at how much we share in common. If Ghana will explode, it will not be because of ethnic stuffs. and my comment above has nothing to do with Lasse Passe in Ivory Coast Greenbirth: ivory coast did more than that before to ghana and nigeria. You can not move from one place to another without the" passe ".without being harassed by the police. until they did election and table turned within one week the Street of Abijan was littered with dead bodies. It was still the same ghana and nigeria who went to save them. the way the Ghanaians hate themselves between the Ashanties to Volta to north is too much. Ghana can explode at anytime. |

Even if you are being chased by American soldiers and you manage enter inside any embassy. The American soldiers will pull back and seek for clarification or diplomatic solution and not to carry guns and bulldozer to bulldoze the embassy of another country. Politics › Re: Ghanaian Monarch On Demolition: Nigeria Wanted To Take Our Land Forcibly by Just30: 3:25pm On Jun 23, 2020 |
You ask why the property was demolished in the night The answer to that is, According to the road safety regulation Long vehicles, earth moving equipment, long trucks and certain equipment cannot be to and from that particular area of Accra unless after 10 pm. There are also regulation on what time that equipment can be transported on Highways in Ghana. Greenbirth: listen I know a lot of Ghanaians especially the illiterates ones from Kumasi are here in nairaland monitoring every comments. Ghana are monitoring spirit long time ago we know. Did you see the building. Does that building look like event building.
I live in ghana and I know exactly how you people behave. You project yourself to international communities to be good to collect aids but inward. You are spoiled apple.
The embassy is well fenced long time ago. Even if it is illegally acquired, don't you have court? Why did you show up in the middle of the night if you are not criminals. |

benji93: True, but the harrassment may continue regardless. Disgruntled unemployed youths organizing themselves in cohorts will still harass people demanding for money. As a foreigner beset by paranoia and considering these people are in groups, you may just part with some money, to prevent the damage of your properties. I mean if you report the matter to the police and the police come over to investigate the matter 24 hours, , how will they find the people who damaged your property? they will, if the matter is pursued For now, they have a field day |

hmm The government will even be doing everyone a favour including the GA community which will save the chiefs from the numerous land litigation cases they are involved in at the High Court benji93: That's gonna hit the Ga community, bad man. . that's how these people survive. That would literally mean taking everything away from them. I don't think the government would want to do something like that without compensating them. If they can that would minimize the land sale problems. |
Politics › Re: Ghanaian Monarch On Demolition: Nigeria Wanted To Take Our Land Forcibly by Just30: 2:13pm On Jun 23, 2020 |
benji93: Meanwhile, this is a typical thing with respect to lands in Accra. If you buy or lease land in Accra, if you do not develop the land, even within the period of ownership, these so-called landowners would resell the undeveloped part of the land to somebody else. Ghana land issues.... hmm Unless Government repossesses all land, it is not going to end anytime soon. To be able to do that, this current constitution will have to be thrown away. |

It was not a dispute in the first place If there was a dispute, it would have ended in court. The Nigeria High Commission had no litigation claims to the lands and the had no ownership papers. That is why they didn't contest it in Court. The traditional Council did not have to go to court because the person building on the land was not contesting their ownership. Those are the legal stance. An illegality is not a diplomatic matter. If it was between Ghana government and the Commission, then it will be diplomatic. What you are struggling to realise is that, the diplomatic compound of Nigeria was not touched so Nigeria was not invaded. the land beside Nigerian High Commission is not diplomatic land. DexterousOne: That is a flat out LIE
There is a procedure to follow when dispute like this is on the table
But many of una no sabi anything
So I am not surprised by the comment
If this was a case of a Nigerian individual or a Nigerian business conglomerate
It's a DIFFERENT CASE. No one will bat an eyelid.
But this is diplomatic matter
Anyways the Ghanaian govt has apologised to the Nigerian government and have promised to investigate and do something about it...
Because they know better
Unlike the riff raffs in the street gloating about this unfortunate incident |
Politics › Re: Ghanaian Monarch On Demolition: Nigeria Wanted To Take Our Land Forcibly by Just30: 1:33pm On Jun 23, 2020 |
the facility demolished is not a diplomatic compound and was not on the diplomatic compound. It is a facility beside a diplomatic compound which the diplomatic compound has no rights to. And the Chief is not just a supposed Chief, He is a president of the house of chiefs of Accra. A learned person and has legal council on land administration. Why would i be ashamed to state facts. Is it regretable that a land issue has to get to demolition, of course, it is. Was the procedure follow such that it didn't get there? Yes it was DexterousOne: So a supposed "chief" orchestrated the demolition of a diplomatic compound in your country
And you are not ashamed to say this in public

Politics › Re: Ghanaian Monarch On Demolition: Nigeria Wanted To Take Our Land Forcibly by Just30: 1:26pm On Jun 23, 2020 |
Is my english not clear enough that you ask what I'm talking about. yes i know how diplomatic spaces are assigned and the Nigerian diplomatic space was not vandalized They wanted to encroach on someone else's property to added to their diplomatic boundary and the person stopped them. The diplomatic compound of Nigeria was not demolished. The Osu traditional council knows the Nigerian diplomatic compound boundaries because they were the ones who give out the lands to be given to them. They stopped the Nigerian Hig Commission from expanding that compound further ILLEGALLY. It is not a Ghanaian Government and Nigerian Government matter because the Ghanaian government does not own the land. That is the reason why the Ghanaian government does not even know about it until the building was demolished. The Nigerian Government failed to seek approval from the Ghanaian Government to expand their diplomatic compound. They just saw a piece of land and decided to start building on it, in what sane country would an Embassy do that? DexterousOne: What are you talking about?
Do you even know how diplomatic spaces are acquired?
You obviously dont that's why you are talking like this.
Under NO GUISE do you demolish a diplomatic compound
It's a Ghanaian Government and a Nigerian Government matter Why di Ghanaians sometimes behave like cave men like these
And when it involves Nigeria Then they even get a hard on.
Una get issues mehn |

babytoun: you did not answer his question... can any traditional chief try this with America ? I answered his question by saying yes The even do it to the Ghanaian Government how much more the US government. I even went further to tell you that the US government will not even build on lands that they dont own. |
Politics › Re: Ghanaian Monarch On Demolition: Nigeria Wanted To Take Our Land Forcibly by Just30: 1:15pm On Jun 23, 2020 |
Pious101: lol Are u waiting for it to spelt out before u know the said land is under dispute... The community is claiming ownership and d one building on it is claiming ownership that is why he is building on it. Why would someone build on a land that does not belong to him? It is already spelt out The Nigerian High Commission has no claim to the land. So the land ownership is not in question. Checks from the Lands Commission in Accra shows that the land is neither registered to them or anybody else, so it still remains a Stool land. You can only have an ownership claim to a land after you possess ownership document which is given by lands commission. As to why the Nigerian High Commission was building on lands that they didn't own is something the commission is yet to speak to. |
Politics › Re: Ghanaian Monarch On Demolition: Nigeria Wanted To Take Our Land Forcibly by Just30: 1:10pm On Jun 23, 2020 |
Yes they are because the land is not State land. Not too far from the property. if you want to ask why it took them an hour before they responded. The simple answer is, at that time, most of their officers have been deployed on their specific assignment. The is a patrol responsible for the Osu areas and they are the first responders. babytoun: The chief is more powerful than the govt of Ghana in this case ?
I am not a citizen but which Ghana are you talking about...
Now answer this ...how close is the police head quarters to this property ? |
