I remember a couple of years back, i had a friend who have stayed in LIBYA for close to 6 years and was deported suddenly by the LIBYIAN authorities.

He said he would go back to libya if he has the chance, he said most Nigerians there do all sort of illegal things warrant the Authorities to deports some few African countries like Nigeria, Ghana,cameroon to name a few.

He said he was doing mechanic, painting and bricklaying job there, that most Nigerians that get there do Robbery, Prostitution, 419 etc.He told me that Libya is far better than Nigeria in terms of so many things food, clothing, shelter and that he still send money home to his family and for his own biz like wise.

He also said some Afican countrie claim Nigeria when caught in any crime there, so i would not be surprised in picture above if some that claim Nigerians there are not.

He said when they were deported the Authority gave each Nigerians 10,000 dollars each to Nigerian diplomatic mission there but were surprised that he was given amount far short of the money when they got to Nigeria.

Sometimes we need to cross check our facts, also there are so many Nigerians that are bastardizing our lmage in these Countries and most times i dont pity them.How could a reasonable person go through that ordeal in the sahara to libya in the first place.

Though the libyan Authorities can do better by making sure they are well taking care of.

I think the libyan Authority are fed up with the recurring situation year in year out cos it seems its Libya all year round to me.

The question we should ask ourselves is why is Nigerians going to LIBYA?

When you deposit money with a bank, you enter a contract with that bank to help you keep the money safely and not to provide loans for your business. Loan provision is at the discretion of the bank! Being a depositor does not automatically qualify you for a loan!

As regards the PHCN situation, I believe one of the first steps is Privatisation which will lead to improvement in PHCN infrastructure all round the country & in the long run stable power supply.

With privatisation, we don't have to rely on only PHCN to provide electricity, because it would give room for other electricity companies to compete among themselves in providing the best service to Nigerians


Its is my opinion that when we get the NEPA (abi na PHCN) problem solved - Generation, transmission & Distribution, we would have had solutions to more than 60% of the Nigerian problem. Think about it - electricity affects virtually everything thing we do as well as every sector. QUOTE Ikhideman


To me Privatization is not the solution to most of our problem, take for instance NEPA/PHCN, This Corporation is of National security and any sensible country would not like to place it in the hands of mere private hands who might become cabals as we have seen in those other sectors i.e Telecommunication.

For commision to be paid to Staffs of PHCN, Well to me this should apply to Marketing staffs alone, this is when we start having alternative source of energy being used i.e solar energy, but for the core staffs i dont think this is justifiable as in its what u have u will give.

Finally, i still place blame on the National Assembly for not taking their duties seriously, really they should be the ones on Commission based on the performance especially when allocation is given to a particular sector, they should make sure its fully implemented and not squandered as it has been the order of the day.

Corruption is the bases of all these our problems.

And as for the verse you quoted regarding Jesus Christ fasting for forty days and forty nights, you failed to mention where Jesus said you should fast any other type of fast apart from the forty days and forty nights fast, and in that verse you quoted (John 14:12), he is recorded as saying that if you believe in him, you would DO THE THINGS HE DID, and even greater, therefore if you want to fast, do it the way Jesus was recorded in your Bible to have done i.e for forty days and forty nights (or greater). . . . . . .and also do the other things your Bible said Jesus did, like heal the sick, re-attach amputated body parts with your bare hands and finally, raise the dead.
