OH THE GREAT OLD DUKE OF YORK
HE HAD TEN THOUSAND MEN
HE MARCHED THEM UP TO THE TOP OF THE HILL AND HE MARCHED THEM DOWN AGAIN
AND WHEN THEY WERE UP,THEY WERE UP
AND WHEN THEY WERE DOWN THEY WERE DOWN
AND WHEN THEY WERE ONLY HALF WAY UP,THEY WERE NEITHER UP NOR DOWN

Still love this though.

BusinessRe: ATM Fraud Victims Sue CBN, 24 Banks In Class Action by justfash50: 5:26pm On Dec 14, 2009
The temporary solution to this malaise is for everyone to stop using ATM cards pending when a lasting solution or agreement is reached by all parties involved

Even this advise is coming late, cos so many people has discontinue using the card.

I stopped mine 3 weeks ago and i know someone who just lost close to N150,000:00 last week.

Its not even a calculated risk, i wonder why people are still using it when ATM fraud is on the increase. i dont mind queueing all day to get my hard earn money cos really the Banks, CBN and Interswitch seems not to have any clue right no

PoliticsRe: Fg To Site Gun Factory In Abia by justfash50: 5:52pm On Dec 12, 2009
What an empty skull u must be, maybe some1 shuld bluetooth u some brains! points of correction, the Igbo man does not need to loot the factory to get his supply of ammunition, who do u think are the contractors supplying the Niger delta militants their arms? It's the Ibo business guys!, and secondly 60% of the guns used by the militants are from Abia town called ABALA which is the undisputed gun capital of Africa, all guns manufactured by the locals here includes different types of automatic assault rifles, pistols, machines guns, sub-machine guns etc all when stood side by side with the ones from the foreign amoury u really cant tell the difference by the looks and workings.
And lastly the Igbo's agitating for Biafra today, doe not believe they needs arms to achieve their desired dream, as he has come to realise that there are many non violent ways he can achieve this, and which are more powerful than arms and violence.

@okuya

Really u av said it all, Abala Ibeme has no other trade than GUNS and AMMUNITIONS.there is a place they called evil forest where they make these ammunitions.Villages that had land dispute will tell u there experience, there houses there land, its like a film where bombs are use.

I pray the fed Gov go ahead cos to me they dont have any other source of livelihood.
PoliticsRe: Fg To Site Gun Factory In Abia by justfash50: 5:33pm On Dec 12, 2009
To me i think this is long over due, I serve in a village in Obingwa Local Government in Abia State called Abala Ibeme in 2002.

To be frank I had horrible experience, on three occassion Nigeria Army from Abuja have raided the place because they produce GUNS.Ican categorically tell u guys that a PRIMARY SCHOOL BOY KNOWS HOW TO MAKE GUN IN THE VILLAGE, its like is in their blood.

I learnt during the Biafra war thats where ojukwu stayed. They even make bombs there(am really serious).Police dont dare step into the village to arrest anybody, its like a suicide mission for police men.Really its a haven for criminals.I have a fellow youth corp who is a cult guy then he use to buy guns to sell beck to his school he finished from.

What i like about the people there is that they respect corp member a lot.its really an experience for me.

HealthRe: External Pile by justfash50: 5:32pm On Dec 02, 2009
External pile is 'IROBO' in yoruba, Medically known as 'hemorrhoid, it can be internal or external. Some of the things that cause hemorrhoids are straining to have stools, infection in the anus, rectal surgery, anal intercourse, coughing, sneezing, loss of rectal muscle due to age prolonged sitting or standing, believe it or not, pregnancy can cause it too.

Treatment may include warm sitz bath, avoid straining to have stools by taking some stool softners, eating roughages, vegetables fruits or high fiber food that will help your stool to be softened and make you go regularly, good cleaning after each stool, topical cream or suppositories, like preparation H, anusol and proctofoam, pain and fever reducer tablets manually push it in, if prolapsed. If no relief, talk to your doctor, a surgery may be necessary. Good luck.

Really this might help but not for long.

Christianity EtcRe: Abuzola Should Emulate Olabowale; Davidylan Should Emulate Olaadegbu by justfash50: 6:34am On Nov 20, 2009
The NL religious section used to be my fave but where the likes of Abuzola and Davidylan are heading the section towards with their arguments and counter-arguments full of slights and insults.

I beleive, argument can be made without resulting to insults and that your religion can be propagated without pulling other religions down. Olabowale and Olaadegbu have exhibited these virtues to the highest level. I therefore urge Abuzola and Davidylan to emulate these people respectively so that they may not end up committing SINs before GOD in an attempt to promote the religion of the GOD.

It is just a piece of advice.

@POSTER
i really commend ur advice to both persons u mentioned above.

Sir olabowale is sure someone to emulate cos av read so many of his contribution and av gained alot in his discussion on this forum.

There are still names that are not mentioned here, please we can still advice those not mentioned above to desist from name calling, blasphem etc on their persons and Almighty GOD(ALLAH).

@POSTER

Again thanks for really helping this forum.
BusinessRe: CBN Moves To Return ETB To Adenuga by justfash50: 3:21am On Nov 07, 2009
Sometimes i wonder why many Nigerians are just greedy and plain stupid.
When this guy started this thing, they cooked up the Northern agenda theory.

Now that he has been able to expose How these bank MD's loot d treasury, now we are saying we like d reform but he should have used another tactics/method.

Bank Phb MD cooked figures and named companies that have never even approached them for loan.
in Billions, and we nigerians are not shouting.Instead we keep Talking about sanusi.

Where is our morality.I think our mentality has been affected by this national cake syndrome.

When a bank MD can loot such billions with his cronies and the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer, Tell me why such a bank wouldn't collapse.

I think we don't understand what it means for a bank to collapse.
(It means that your money would be trapped in the bank and if your unlucky that it's your life savings, thats heart attack and the beginning of your woes.Multiply this effect with millions of the bank customers, then you would know what the economy would be like)

The strategy he is using is Simple, always be ahead, be spontaneous and not predictable.

In this way, if you don't know what is around the corner, you have no option but to put your house in order and do the right thing.

By now we should know that nothing conventional works in Nigeria.
During recession, prices of items were going down in other countries, but in Nigeria, this were still going up.
You give universities money for research and buildings, the money is shared,

If you want to effect a change in this country, then you have to be choleric about it, and stamp your best foot down.
If Fashola was listening to what people are saying (Usually those who would gain financially from the mess) about clearing illegal sites, lagos wouldn't be as it is and oshodi wouldn't be as it is

Under a week over 25billion was recovered and you start asking, where was this money before.
This should send a signal to a right thinking person that there was a serious issue in the system.

Even bankers know amongst themselves that figures were being cooked

If our leaders wanted our refineries to work this year, it would.
If our leaders wanted PHCN to work this year, It would.
If our Leaders wanted our Universities to be the best in Africa, it would.

But what do they do, they embezzle and open offshore accounts, and indirectly whether they are aware of the implication or not (Enriching these countries with our funds where they make good use of it to develop their land and impoverish NIGERIA).

It is so Disheartening that majority of Nigerians I meet are plotting of how to share in the National cake and 90% of those reading this are also thinking towards the same line.

We have even Migrated abroad with this attitude that when you introduce yourself abroad, the first impression is "Beware Nigerians are fraudulent and Corrupt".

We don't need noisemakers in the National Assembly to change Nigeria, Infact it has been proven with the 80/20 rule that we just need 20% of Nigerians who would say things must change and move a step further and act out the change, and this nation would be a better place.

Need i remind you that the world is moving GREEN and OIL might not be the in thing in the future, what a tenebrous society awaits our Children.

We have the opportunity to develop this country and move away from oil dependency, but we are not, God help us.

We all have an opportunity in the little spheres where we find ourselves to change this country.
It is a painful and ardous sacrifice we need to make so that our children can be comfortable in the future or keep eating the national cake that they might not see any leftovers but have no option but to willingly sell themselves as slaves to the colonial masters to take the crumbs 4rm their table.

You might say God Forbid, but the truth is a bitter pill, if you have 10 items on the wall and u keep taking them one after the other without a replacement, you get to a point none would be on the wall again.

It might not be your children, it might be your grand-children or great, then you would say "WHEN NIGERIA WAS NIGERIA"
but you wouldn't be able to do anything about it.

STOP ACCEPTING WHAT YOU READ IN THE PAPERS, THINK AND DECIDE WHAT IS RIGHT COS THIS RICH FOLKS PAY FOR IT TO APPEAR ON THE PAPERS.

AND IMPACT YOUR ENVIRONMENT WITH THE POSITIVE CHANGE YOU CAN

thank you jare, you just spoke my mind.i hope some people can learn from what you have just said.

God will not help when we dont help ourself.

BusinessRe: CBN To Issue N5, N10, And N50 Notes In Polymer Substrate Like The N20 Note by justfash50: 7:39pm On Sep 19, 2009
It seems you are the Deputy CBN Gov, so you are privy to the information when its right for the CBN to print new notes.

What informed your decision that this is not the right time to print new notes or do you work with the printing Corporation of Nigeria.

Please leave Sanusi alone and let him perform optimally in his various responsibility assigned to him.
BusinessRe: CBN To Issue N5, N10, And N50 Notes In Polymer Substrate Like The N20 Note by justfash50: 5:06pm On Sep 19, 2009
Some of you are quite funnny.

The only thing changing in the currency it that it becomes Polymer. Soludo did it with the N20 note and the plan was to introduce the N5, N10, N50 this year but, becasue it is Sanusi he has a hidden agenda.

Even though he has said what change will be on the notes:

He said; “The existing denominations of N5, N10, and N50 paper notes remain legal tender and will circulate side by side with the new polymer notes for the next six months. The new N5, N10, and N50 polymer notes have retained their current sizes, designs and other key elements. Only the watermark has been replaced with the transparent window and G-switch which turns from green to gold when the note is tilted.”

And to the person asking how will this affect the common man, it cost money to print money. Printing money that will last for a long time will save cost in the long run. Under Soludo they tried it with the N20 and it showed it saved cost in the long run.
quote NAIJATODAY

Thank you jare
Really its annoying when people just spew dust as contribution to the thread without looking at the topic above.

Has it not been proved by the CBN that its is cost effective and durable.

Its true we need Electricity but when do Sanusi double as the Minister for power and steel huh

Please Read the topic above before contributing.
