so you really think the right thing to do is to lock a thread because there are digressions? ![]() so if I want a thread locked, all I need to do is to cause digressions. good to know! |

LadyT:is she not also trying to scam the poor young man of proper love life in his prime years? and why do you think the inexperienced young boy is not also very flattered that he got a foreign woman? |

Some girls just cant learn. If a guy is a that way, he'll always be that way and he only needs a little opportunity to go his ways again. Some girls stay with such guys because they have similar attitudes, I think. How else do you explain any girl staying on with a man who is cheating on her? ![]() |
where is sistawoman? |
igwe 1:How can I be a v ictim when I'm not a woman? e no concern me. I just dey give my opinion. you sef, why you come put mouth for my matter. no allow me bring out my cutlass o |
are some implying that it is all about the fault of the Nigerians boys and not that of the old perverted women who seek them? |
iice:You will need to ask more men about that in UK, and dont forget to visit the site of fathers for justice while you're at it. You need to poll British men to know if they feel the society is faily balanced. Being fairer to women than most other countries is different in meaning from a fair balance |
which kind yeye love. Na money dey talk girls dey follow money anyhow. even if the guy na the height of worworism, girls go still follow am if he get plenty money |
so na only naija boys dey wink? wonders shall never end with the way wey people dey think sha |
which kind love? why do the old women want to use Nigerian boys' young blood for please? Na so una dey yab the boys. What about the useless old perverts who want to use the boys in their miserable old ages? abeg na 2/2=1 na 1-1 goaless draw ![]() |
iice:Is that meant in the same way as the British society is a matriachal society in which men have no rights where women are concerned? ![]() |
Leilah:white men cant treat them like slave probably because oyinbo women have mastered the art of enslaving men @ leilah, your life has to be a bundle of contradictions and confusions because you are supposedly married to one of those who treat women like slaves and it's not the first time you're doing it either. You said somewhere that you have had a few marriages |
Leilah:I'd feel the same if it was a white person. It's just the cultural differences that get me concerned because they matter a lot. Although some people try to say that love will cover the differences. When you start living together with someone, little differences can destroy the relationship, even if you're from the same village/settlement; let alone when you have serious cultural differences. I'd rather have a decent black in-law than a white in-law anyway. It will be easier for a black person (if they are from a decent background) to 'blend' in than for a white person. Entirely my personal opinion! |
Oyinbo is not that difficult that you need to go and find juju. If you are just jumping around happily, oyinbo will love you. chikena. Just be prepared for a life of slavery till the day you get your papers ![]() |
To be honest, I'd have misgivings if my son was to come home and say he wants to marry a Black American ![]() Sad as it sounds, it's the truth. I cant help but picture them as I have seen them most times. I think I'll be embarrased if my daughter-in-law was to be dressed the way many of them dress. Plus, I am not comfortable with all these open-eye method of theirs which is at variance with what I am comfortable with. It is not to say that I think I am better than them or anything but I just feel that the differences in thought patterns will make things very awkward and also, fierce independence that exists in that part of the world is alien to me. I will be sad if my daughter wanted a Black American man. It will take a while for me to accept and I will have to be sure that the person is from a decent happy family, not a product of split parents, and the man has to be a prefessional who is very decent (in my personal opinion), not a smoker or a drinker etc etc. That's just me! Please note that this is not because I think I am better. . . I just know that differences, can create and, tend to create problems within a family Some people will be comfortable with it but then, it's different strokes for different folks. |
Even when I used to smoke rothmans (just to clarify), I never could have imagined marrying a girl who smokes. Dating them is allowed Ewo orisa ![]() |
Seun:this is inexperience at play. You should not say such so categorically Human beings can be that way and you cant say she is imagining things. Black boys also sometimes do it when they see a black girl with a white guy (not too common). |
I always knew that there was no way on earth I would marry a divorcee or single parent. It's not about who is good or bad. Just a matter of choice. I could never handle any extra baggage with my own. My wife and my kids are enough for me to think and worry about without adding another man's child. My old fashioned belief is that, except a woman or man is widowed, there must be a reason (not necessarily good) why they are divorced ![]() |
what really is dating? ![]() |
