I understand the Dutch factor u are lookin at. . .but not all of them are that bright. When Liverpool landed Dirk Kuyt, I resigned to fate that the Highest goal scorer award would go to him . . .but the guy didn't meet up to my own standard of a goal scorer. He scores regular goals. He's just on the average. .

I've seen Hunterlaar play and dear God, he is lethal. But i get scared these days about strikers doing well in League and when they jump ship, they become ordinary. . .

Woulda prefered Quagliarella, but Udinese are not releasing him. Would like to see how an Italian would evolve in the EPL.

I'ld prefer Fernando Torres. He is lethal and more surplus in talent. .
Hunterlaar would be another Ruud and thats exactly what i do not want.
During the Ruud days, evey united goal had to go through him. He was our main goal scorer and almost every united attack ends up with him in front. .
Noticed that since he left, United has scored more goals and they've all been scored by almost everybody in the team. Only Gary Neville didnt score last season, except the keepers. .

Point is, United needs a striker, not a Ruud look alike. .
Torres perfectly fits the bill. .

If Smith leaves united for around 7 million, Fergie says he might also sell Rossi to Parma for 6 million. Richardson too might go. . .so he'll have enough cash to table a proper bid for Fernando Torres.

But one thing I really dont like is the situation with Rossi. The kid has been tested and he has really proven himself at Parma. We should keep our youngsters and not sell them. Rossi is the brighest striking prospect at United. I'ld prefer Saha and Smith to go, then buy Torres and keep Rossi. . . .

You righly said, Feguson has been in charge of united for some 2 deacdes now. . .and when he took over United, they were footballing push-overs. He tooks United from the mud and made it what it is today. .

Be that as it may, be informed that a very large chunk of United players, like 70% came into the team from the youth ranks. United, that is Ferguson, was and is a strong supporter and advocate of the Youth system. The backbone of the United squad today has been players from the Academy. . .and if you haven't noticed, it saves money!!!.

United bought those players you mentioned, no doubt, but if u compare the player's worth and the amount spent on them in Fergie's 20 yr reign and Mourinho's 3 years at Chelsea, Mourinho should be hung for money squandering!!!!.

When Eric Cantona was bought for around 1.2 million did he not make England a nightmare for everyone? He delivered the job and played more than his money's worth. He was revered and feared by even the most experienced of defenders. . .

And remember, Chelsea was not strugglingg when Mourinho took over. He inherited a good number of quality players + a blank cheque. . .
And don't even forget that United, at a point in its history, lost more than half of its team in a plane crash . . . the team had to rebuild from ruins . . .

Henry definitely has done every thing in the footballer's book to earn a place among the elites of the game. Of course he is one of the best in the world and he can't possibly f**k up even if he wants to. . .(for watever reason)

That was not my point. My point was from what u said earlier about how comfortable he has become at Arsenal. Everybody adores him. . .He deserves every pass from every player on the field. Every goal has his signature on it, a scorer, an assisstant, even as an on-looker. .  Even the ball boys feel obligded to throw the balls to henry . . .lol (just kidding).

But point is, all those favours are gone. All the special attention is gone. . . No fanatic singing his name. . .He can't just enter the Barca team and steal the show. . .
C'mon, you are joining Ronaldinho, Messi, Deco and Eto'o. . . you'll work your ass off to earn anything you get. . .
. . . .and that means he'll be EXPOSED to uncertainties. . .

If Rikjaard is still who i know, if Henry is not fit, he doesn't play. . . .

United really needs to land a striker cos Saha, is too injury prone. Torres woulda been perfect but the dude costs 27 miilion pounds!!!! and united has already spent 50 million. . . Liverpool mite get him cos of the Spanish stuff they got goin. .
