Is it United's fault Obi prefered a fat wallet? huh
Is it United's fault Bayern refused to sell Hargreaves huh
Is it United's fault West Ham doesnt have what it takes to keep a striker that kept them in the league huh

The FA is the only party delaying the Tevez move. They are still insisting West Ham has to get paid the transfer fee just to cover their dirty tracks. . .

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by justkunmi(op): 3:37pm On Jul 11, 2007
The ongoing saga surrounding the future of Carlos Tevez has seen the Premier League be accused of being unsuitable to preside over the transfer of the Argentine from West Ham to Manchester United.

The striker's proposed £30m move to Manchester United has been blocked by the Premier League, who insist West Ham receive the vast majority of the fee, but it remains clear that the rights to such a fee are still owned by businessman and agent to Tevez, Kia Joorabchian.

However, this contradicts the Premier League's stance on the issue as they allowed West Ham to continue playing Tevez in the final games of last season under the premise that he was their player and there was no longer and third party ownership issues.

It is believed Tevez's representatives are set to request help from the FA and FIFA, which would also be backed by Manchester United, who are not seen to have done anything untoward in the whole drawn-out saga.

A source close to the negotiations said: "Diplomatic moves are being made. We are in deadlock and we need an independent body to try and sort this mess out.

"The lawyers all agree Manchester United and Joorabchian are within their rights to do a deal - but the Premier League are saying they can't.

"The Premier League seem to have a vested interest now.

"They are covering their own backs after allowing West Ham to continue playing Tevez last season.

"Their whole argument is built on the premise West Ham tore up Tevez's contract and claimed to control the player.

"But any court in the land will tell you they cannot do that."

The continued confused developments will be seen as a boost to Sheffield United, who feel they were wrongly relegated due to the errors in punishing West Ham last season.

IMO, The English F.A covered up the Tevez transfer saga from Corinthians to West Ham for the sake of new boss, Curbishley who of course is a UEFA committee member. Now they know Sheffield Utd are pursuing legal battle and wanna cover-up their asses but they didn't expect Man Utd, another giant, to come lookin for Tevez, and thereby exposin their backsides grin,

Now the F.A is at a crossroad. They fear letting Tevez go to United without West Ham having the transfer fee will expose their injustice to Sheffield United. Afterall it's the same deal that took Mascherano to Liverpool that United too is pursuing.

But lets see wat will happen when FIFA intervenes smiley

I'm just loving all of these grin

My grandmother is fitter than Saha grin. . .I mean, the guy missed a large chunk of last season because of his recurrent injury problems. . Thank God for Larsson's contributions.
Ole, if fit, is old. . .
leaving Rooney.

So you see United is not that bouyant in attack to spend money on a poacher.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by justkunmi(op): 11:28pm On Jul 09, 2007
loyika

I definately am not avoiding any issue. . .Why should I. . .
On those 2 games you and Jackal are talking about. . . .Yes we lost because we couldn't convert our abundant chances. . We lost because our strikers were off duty on those days. .

But don't be too fast. . .Why single out those two key games we lost, when we won so many other KEY games. . . without having a poacher huh Liverpool, Man City, Bolton, AS Roma, Reading (FA Cup). . .

You guys should understand my point please and don't take me out of context.  I am not sayin a team shouldn't have a poacher, . . I mean, Milan has Inzaghi; Chelsea, Drogba; and the rest. . .

All I am asking, which I need an answer to is

Would you rather go for a striker who can create an opportunity on his own and finish off nicely or a striker who just waits around the box to finish off leftovers??
