I used to be a serious critique of the Catholic church and its statues stuff but I came across a priest on TV who defined worship to idols. He simply said if one should boldly walk up to a traditionalist's shrine and pick up an idol he will not get away with the calamity and troubles that may follow. However, if you walk into a cathedral and pick up a statue, you will see another one there the very next day. So there's really no reverence attached to those statues although many Catholics overdo the statue thing without really knowing the motive behind it.

That's the problem, nobody cares if u enjoy it or not, u can f**kinly watch your Nat Geo wild, nobody still cares, but coming to Nairaland to wail like the sponsors are the govt saddled with the responsibility of providing for u, is what I don't get, again on the question of what is learnt, everything mustn't have a moral, most us after a stressful day just tune it to feed our eyes..

**giggles grin grin** its funny what you choose to feed your eyes on but that's none of my business except that I really do care about your soul cos I know heaven will be so much fun with you around. And to the issue of nobody caring if or not I give a crap about the show... you'll never know how many of me there is cos we don't make noise. If you think we're that insignificant, ask ms. Hillary Clinton what went wrong on her case. I only spoke my mind like every other person does and the fact that my ideas differ from yours doesn't make me a hypocrite in any way.

Wehdonsah mr realist. Go to the stores on the street and the 're§taùrants and tell them that, because of some useless show I can no longer stray into a nearby restaurant or gardèn with my little niece and you are here forming defence counsel. Just ask yourself what that thing has done In your life, not educative nor enlightening, not even interesting or funny. I'd rather watch nat geo wild for one full week

African indeed! What have we achieved with our African mentality. Rochas is a politician and every politician blows trumpet. I have no business with any government in Nigeria. They don't give me food but if we must criticize, let's not be biased about it.

Brother am afraid you are wrong on this one. Not every politician blows his trumpet. At least I know of Nyerere, Chamusso, and even our own Sam Mbakwe. Am not against any man blowing his trumpet, only tune it so you don't blow off tune. A man that goes about garnering praises for things you know he did not do and things for which you are paying the price, is more painful than Cameroon pepper. Also, for our african mentality, it may not be perfect but at least we have less hiv and teenage pregnancy figures thanks to it.
A conservative society is not one that lacks exposure but one that knows how to handle exposure..

I've not seen it before. I only know of a recent plan to air a program on Imo State development by his media aide. But I am sure he doesn't do ths flag off or commission jamboree.

I do like your mature manner of reasonably driving home your point. Those programs ran mainly in his first tenure. That man Rochas is either really surrounded by lying sycophants or just insensitive and inhumane to see that priorities are prioritized.
Am not pro Ihedioha o...... I detest that one too. I am just for any man that will sacrifice for the good of his people and i refuse to believe that such men arAre non-existent. I wish Dee Sam Mbakwe's ghost can come govern again.

Rochas doesn't flag off or commission his projects do you are lying here. Today more than 300 roads are ongoing and none was flagged off or commissioned including this flyover.

Oga pls stop allowing the little respect i have for you burn off. Rochas doesn't commission projects but he was the ONLY GOV that had enough money to sponsor two 30 mins programs on AIT to appraise himself. Go and ask how much is used to sponsor a 30 mins program on AIT btw the prime hours of 9 - 9:30. and pls don't forget to double the amount

The 1st Igbo President is going to be Rochas Okorocha from Ogboko in Ideato South LGA of Imo State. The reason for all these attacks on social media is simply to stop the will of God with regards to Okorocha because of jealousy but unfortunately God is with him and his will must prevail.

What's wrong with the abortion law? A woman should ve the right to either keep or terminate a pregnancy! What's exactly your beef with Rochas?

Brother listen to yourself small abeg. All this liberal thinking shouldn't make you forget your values and way of life as an African. Imagine if we all are allowed to do what we want with ourselves, wahala don dey be that naa...
And to Rochas, I hate people who blow their trumpets for no meaningful reason. He has awarded the contract for construction of access road in my community THRICE and advertised it on TV countless times whereas the road is still a death trap. My brother once fell in the mud courtesy that road and u want me to be cool with him abi....

This was after serious pressure from most Rev. A.J.V. Obinna and the Anglican bishop of Owerri. Bros..... Rochas is a confused, misguided and lying cheat.

I am sorry to say, but I find no sense in this comment. If English is the official language of your country, there is no crime in learning it and learning it well. Wenger is a polyglot, fluent in about 4 international languages and that is a sure plus for him. All I am saying: CHALLENGE YOURSELF.

Getting admission in a nigerian uni is not hard at all. Just dat students of nowadays always misplace their priorities. They spend more time on irrelevant stuffs like social media instead of reading their books. To d serious students, dont be fazed, just read well and admission will come luking for u.

Bro..... not always. Maybe you misplaced your priorities. You should have urged them to spend more time trying to know lecturers and other uni staff (i will not add an S grin).
What will you tell someone who had to give up all distractions, smash 273 and only watch peeps he did better than get admitted? Please help, I'm out of inspirational speeches right now.
