Chimarto: UK need to be stopped, they're ripping off our people in the need of visa application fees, they will eat your money without issuing you visa. They will find one ridiculous reason and deny you visa and your money is gone. Imagine doing these to thousands of visa applicants? STOP UKnow. Don’t apply for their visa and stop complaining |

Interesting thread I stumbled upon. Nice weekend read..

Bells1899: 1. The marriage certificate we obtained was fake.
2. Yes, I'm planning on notifying the Home Office. I don't understand the if she has any evidence against me. The only thing between us is the arraigned marriage certificate we did. The marriage certificate is fake , so that can easily be verified if she mentioned that to HO. Secondly...you don't live together and she has the text message you sent threatening her that you will remove her if she doesn't contribute. Try approaching her peacefully because both of you will feel the pain if the HO get involved. If you can afford it and your ILR is closer then swallow the pain and pay for it |

Bells1899: Please I need advice on what to do.
I traveled to the UK in 2023 with an arraigned dependant through work route. In 2024 the license of the agency that sponsored me was revoked and I now have to start looking for a new Cos.
Now that I've gotten a cos to be paid for and reaching out to the woman that was my dependant so we can contribute and pay the Cos fee together. She has refused to reply my messages and upon telling her that if she doesn't reply me and we should contribute her quota in securing the Cos, I will remove her from being my dependant. She than later replied and said If I try it, that she'll go to the home office and tell them we had an arraigned or fake marriage and we will both be sent back home.
I'm in distress at the moment, should I proceed in informing the home office that I'll be removing her as my dependant and hope I wouldn't have any issue if she goes to the home office to tell them we had an arraigned marriage? What can I do please, I can't keep waiting for her response again. 1. Did you obtained original marriage certification during visa application or was it fake? 2. If you want to apply alone you have to notify the HO that the relationship has broken down and keep a copy of it, HO may do a welfare check to know if she is fine..this is where you may get in trouble if she has evidence against you. |

pharmagba: All his policy to me i indicates he has clear cut plan. A leader who fulfilled more than 80% of his promises in less than 3 months shows planning. Moreover the singular characteristics of all great leader is action. If a leader action going south, it is great leadership to reverse action. It doesn't demean a leader. It simply tell us he is a listening leader
You don't expect every plan to go the way it was planned No he doesn't , he makes things up as he goes, just keep throwing stuff at the wall to see if one sticks. |

The Trump administration is restoring visas for hundreds of foreign students who had their legal status abruptly terminated stoking panic among many who feared immediate deportation, government officials confirmed.
Justice department attorney Elizabeth Kurlan told a federal court that immigration officials are now working on a new system for reviewing and terminating visas for international students.
The announcement follows more than 100 lawsuits filed by students who were abruptly stripped of their legal right to study in US universities.
An estimated 1,800 students and 280 universities have been impacted , according to a tally from Inside Higher Ed., external
Many affected students appeared to have participated in political protests or have had previous criminal charges, such as driving infractions.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio had previously said the administration would terminate status for people whose actions the administration believes run counter to US interests.
The policy has caused widespread fear and confusion across hundreds of US universities, with some students opting to leave the country pre-emptively rather than face possible detention or deportation.
The Justice Department told the court on Friday that records would be restored in the Student and Exchange Visitor Information Systems (SEVIS), which tracks foreign students' compliance with their visas. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cgm8ekk173zo

I don’t know if the situation has gotten better since I last heard about this. Apparently Ulster University is offering free accommodation for a year to students. We will see how many universities will still be operating strongly by the end of this year. |
