Relevant Courses to include in the Course for Recording Artiste 2: THE VOCAL COURSES: Alrighty, welcome back to the second episode of this (ongoing) discussion. Again, we're drawing these from the progress been made regarding this course, which has just been added to the list of Courses for the 2018 Applied Musical Program year, for our Home School of Music: Rehearsal House Ng. Let us say that, the Recording Artiste course, 'borrows' courses from other courses (departments), those courses were listed in the previous post. Today, we'll look at some of these 'borrowed' courses, one after the other. Beginning with the first department on the list: Vocals. RH department of Vocals: The Rehearsal House department of Vocals, offers three options of Voice training programs viz: 1. Vocals with Lyricology and Composition. 2. Vocals with Singing Techniques. 3. Vocals with Musical Directing. The Recording Artiste course, takes a list of courses from Vocals options 1 & 2. Therefore, we would straight-on, focus our attention on these options of Vocal courses. Just a note beside: the other departments, namely Piano/Guitar and Applied Musicology, haven't been forgotten. To be continued... RH FULL TIME MAJORS RETURN: In response to those of you who had sought opportunity into a full time program at Rehearsal House, well, here it is, we're pleased to announce to you that our FULL-TIME APPLIED MUSICAL MAJORS is back, for tuition fees, shortlisted courses for both Full time and part time Majors, as well as other details, follow the link: https://rehearsalhouse..com.ng/p/applied-musical-majors.html?m=1 |
Relevant Courses to include in a Curriculum for Recording Artistes: Introduction: Hello everyone, among the just listed (newbies) on our music school courses for this year 2018, is a course for Recording Artistes. Now, as one responsible for some of "these" decisions, particularly, the development of our "especially home made curriculum for our home music school", as one under this responsibility, the privilege to interview aspiring musical students, has provided quite an opportunity to identify the needs per time, that is, what is needful to train a student into a particular specialty of interest. Now, I wouldn't want to have more than one paragraph of some sorta intro. So, permit me to, just move on straight. Please your "criticism" of these is well appreciated, comments would be duly noted and questions would be sincerely best answered, even where the answer is an "honestly, I do not know... I don't even think I've ever heard of all these...I'll look into it...Thank you..." Furthermore, to assist us all who would be going through this thread, I'll do my best to keep it updated and running from time to time, that is as the classes resume for the program for this year, I'll keep sharing my observations, so that first hand, we may see, the "wow's....ohh No's....OMG..." After all, our Rehearsal House is said to be "A Research Academy of Music", even though we're just a so sweet, Home School of Music. The goal of this program, is simple: "to ensure the Recording Artiste is a professional (thoroughly furnished) musician..." Therefore, courses are drawn from four respective departments to equip the Students, these departments are: Voice training & Singing Musicology Lyricology and Composition. Piano Performance/Guitars (one of) **Workshops & Projects (Studio & Music business sessions). Alrighty...it got a bit longer than I anticipated for the intro, sorry about that. Well, well, In the next (second) episode (section), I'll be posting the relevant courses we'll be taking from each of these departments. Bear in mind, that each of the above mentioned departments function independently with their various courses (subjects), therefore, there's the need to select the most relevant courses for a course for the Recording Artiste. Please can someone help me... I would love to report human rights violations... It's urgent... whom do I call... Suggestions and phone numbers please... |
QuietHammer:Just looked it up... It wasn't hard to agree with your explanations firstly, however, I needed to find the missing piece of the puzzle from my own end... Thanks for pointing that out, I get it now... I mistook the 30 keys spelling (15 major / 15 minor spellings) for the 24 keys themselves... I'd never viewed it wholly... Again Thanks. And please do me one favour... NEVER STOP TO CRITIQUE MY LESSONS... REGARDLESS HOW HARD YOU'LL HAVE TO SOUND IT... THE HARDER THE BETTER FOR ME... Thanks again... |
QuietHammer:I'll look that up.. Anyways, thanks in advance... |
Please what channel is showing the match ooo |
mazimee:lately I've begun to observe that "being there" is not the same as anticipating to be there... While I do not desire to make any excuse for this President, I'm obliged to state a seemingly obvious from the op, that is, although he had contested thrice before now, whatever plans/blueprints he had before getting there, needed perhaps a total overhaul, because of the unanticipated quagmire he met on getting there... That is a logical possibility, otherwise, he's not being sincere... |
otitokoroleti:And yes to? PDP? Revisit the Edo history... More so, this election is now closely looking like the igbinedion's versus the Edo people.... Only of course the house of Igbinedion seems to be coming in the guise/cloak of Iyamu... But read the handwritings... This is Igbinedion's third term bidding... Strategically disguised... God help Edo people... |
Reading through posts... There's need to say, pure intellectualism must needs grow!!! Or in the least be objectively defined... For some yet do not know how to tell the difference between FACTS and CLAIMS.... Facts come with EVIDENCES, claims just need to be ARROGANTLY NOISED UP!!! I say this because most of what folks in the comments here today attributed to ize-iyamu as facts were sheer claims NOISED up!!! I expected, in the least he would come with evidences, at least the letter he claims for his 50th birthday, that according to him, is still in his custody? How beautiful, knowing you had such so Called all important debate.... And you left your reference at home? Or evidences ain't permitted? You see, I'm interested in him, a bit more than the other candidates, including obaseki, because, of all of them.... He poses the most reason to be worrisome.... He practically boycotted questions presented to him.... Using sheer vocality [pseudo charisma] which reflects a lot of dishonesty well covered up in deceit! Well more worrisome is the fact that some comments here exposed the absence of critical thinking, since some folks just happen to commend something that exposes arrogant pride, dishonestly cloaked up in the seductive deception of pseudo-charisma.... Wake up Thinkers!! |
If APC failed... Then PDP what? Did well? What opinion of an alternative.... Mtchewww. |

(NLT)John 12:30-36 Then Jesus told them, "The voice was for your benefit, not mine. [31] The time for judging this world has come, when Satan, the ruler of this world, will be cast out. [32] And when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself." [33] He said this to indicate how he was going to die. [34] The crowd responded, "We understood from Scripture that the Messiah would live forever. How can you say the Son of Man will die? Just who is this Son of Man, anyway?" [35] Jesus replied, "My light will shine for you just a little longer. Walk in the light while you can, so the darkness will not overtake you. Those who walk in the darkness cannot see where they are going. [36] Put your trust in the light while there is still time; then you will become children of the light." After saying these things, Jesus went away and was hidden from them. |
Lilbrown007:Do you believe in Miracles? It happens everyday even today don't you think? |
PigMeat:Are you sure?? Doesn't sound like the same Edo State I stay... Don't generalize... Sometimes just speaking for your own niche says the truth... Not speaking for everyone... |
frankline5:Na wa oooo.... Na only you "one" come turn into Edo people abi... Just as your own September 2016 don happen already... Hmmmmm... Abeg ooo... |
Another electioneering times again... And typical of the poor and middle class, they're already serving as the pawns! Wait a minute, can someone reel out objective and authentic reasons why they're screaming "change the change"? Who wants to change the change? Who are they changing the change for? When will our people learn That they're only being used! Who are you voting for? Or campaigning for? You think it's PDP? Sorry... Check your statistics... POI was ehhhh mm...... APC, how many years ago? 10? 8? Nah.... Way less than that.... How about this former gov candidate of PDP, I passed through APC Benin office the other day and guess what? I saw his bill board... WAKE UP GUYS!!! POI is only "here" cause he needs you to fulfill his own ambition! If you want to vote for someone, at least do so on the basis of your objective investigation.... Though even then, you're likely to be wrong(for "there's no art to read men's heart..." holds even truer especially the politician...) Banish sentiments away from your thoughts... BTW... I'VE MET ALMOST AN EQUAL NUMBER OF THOSE FOR & AGAINST POI in Edo State... #at least my personal findings. |

Excerpts from PNO 102 (KEYBOARD ANATOMY) Summary of Lesson 1 notes... ANATOMY OF PIANO KEYS. There are twelve(12) keys in all music, these keys are further classified into two folds(types): 1. The Natural keys. 2. The Sharp/Flat keys. This keys' classification is not the same as the classification into Major & Minor keys(according to Major/Minor keys' classification, there are 15 Major keys & 15 Minor keys, that'll be discussed much later). Now in Pianoforte Natural keys, Sharps/Flat keys, are all defined by their "colours", the Natural keys are the white keys of the keyboard. The Sharp as well as flat keys are the black Keys on the keyboard... The Natural keys. In Pianoforte all white keys are referred to as NATURAL KEYS. Remember there are 12 keys in music, and of these 7 are Natural keys, that is "7 white keys". Nomenclature. The Natural keys(also musical notes) are named after the first seven letters of the English Alphabets: A B C D E F G. Also look out for.... *The Nomenclature of the Natural keys *Sharp & Flats *Accidentals *What is a keyboard? *What is the difference between a keyboard and a piano? |
