I used the VW and currently using the Camry 1999 which is almost same with 2001. Vento has cheaper parts and low fuel consumption. It's a good move.

Thanks Adubam for the reply.

Where can one get a correct Vento and for what price?
Autos / Re: ASK GAZZUZZ by JustZoe(m): 1:34pm On Apr 02, 2022
I need an honest advice here.

My dad drive Toyota Camry 2001 but he complains that the cost of maintenance and repairs is a little high. He is a retired teacher and so you could understand why

He wants to dispose that car and get another one that will be cheaper to maintain.

He is suggesting a Volkswagen Vento GL 2000/2001 model.

Can anybody advice me on this? Do you think that one will be cheaper to maintain.

He is not a heavy user. He just needs something to be moving from one place to another.

You could also suggest any alternative.

Budget is 1.3m

Thanks

@Gazzuzz and any other experienced person here.

@Op, I understand what you are saying perfectly. It is a pity that many people commenting here have no idea what you just described.

To those saying they should get a job, kindly know that there are many working people broke. So their poverty or being broke is not entirely due to not working.

Many who read this also work and are yet broke. And yet they keep recommending people should work. Get me right, I ain't saying jobless people shouldn't work. I'm only asking if working is the solution, why are a lot of working class people broke?

Here is what you need to know Pastor; Faith is the only victory that overcomes the world! (1 Jhn 5:4).

Here is my advice and I answer you from experience and the Word of God. You yourself will first have to learn about Kingdom Finance. When you master it and your are free yourself, then can you also teach others and break the financial hardship bedevilling people.

I can recommend books and messages for you, if you so care to have knowledge tgat makes free. Jhn 8:32.

To whosoever will read this, please don't be quick to forget the words of 1 Cor 2:14 that carnal mind can't receive the things of the spirit. So if you are sense-ruled, you won't understand or agree with what I wrote.

Let me close by saying this, when Jesus was anointed, He said The Spirit was upon Him to preach the Gospel to the poor, even before healing the sick or raising the dead. Please read Luk 4:18.

If any should know about answers to poverty in our world, it should be Jesus. And He didn't recommend job or business. He said the gospel should be preached to them.

I am not saying you shouldn't work. I am saying learn about how finances work in the kingdom.

Knowledge of Christ is what sets free from the challenges of life!

@Priceaction, or anybody that knows about Daniel hustle that the OP mentioned should please state their website.

Or better still, you could please mention any genuine fellow on Nairaland who can teach me affiliate marketing.

priceaction:
But why will efcc term everyone they arrest with laptop now yahoo yahoo? They will quickly parade them without full investigation?
There are many legitimate businesses you can do at the comfort of your home now. People like Daniel hustle, a member here and his brother make thousands of dollars every single week from home doing affiliate marketing, one was arrested recently by SARS claiming he was a yahoo boy . What of Many highly creative coders and software developers that make lots from sites like udemy or cousera or amazon?
Some are domain or website flippers? Some are crypto gurus and exchangers that are verified by sites like paxful and co.
The list is unending. What of real fx traders and online stock or indices, energy or metal traders?. All still boil down to dollars.
Not everyone is doing illegitimate businesses. The world has gone beyond 9-5 jobs. People can pull an online businesses now and fetch 25k$ in a month. I believe they are being given info by some bankers may be because of unusual inflow everytime especially the innocent ones.
But for those who can't use their brains and apply legal ways of making money or passive income there by spoiling legitimate businesses of others, may you be exposed and rot in jail. But efcc needs to do their verification well before parading them, but many a times, reverse is the case while many are innocent.
