3. Pour shea butter oil over soap, then start beating with the wooden pestle, I don’t know if that is the correct word; but beat, march, etc, just do everything to make sure the soap forms one mold and is way softer than before. This step is very important. The soap has to be soft but the level is your choice.
4. Using the pestle, make a hole in d middle of the soap, pour enough honey, mix well with soap
5. Same with the lime juice
6. Sprinkle the sulphur, camwood, orange peel, walnut shell etc and mix well
7. It is important that you mix well
8. Your soap should be in a very thick paste and not in a liquid form

These processes may seem easy but trust me, it isn’t.

Well thank God you're healthy and your baby is healthy too.

I know of three women who have died in mom's hospital because they refused the option of CS so that people won't laugh at them or say they are not real women who cannot push.
What hurts me most in those cases is that the child normally dies too from distress.
Some strangulate to death because the umbilical cord tied itself around their neck and mom insist on pushing, thereby killing her own baby by herself just to impress the world.
On painful case had the baby choking on the mother's fluids and ingesting his own poop because she had been in labor for 3days yet refused CS while calling on God to help her deliver like the 'Hebrew women' . It is not funny.
Of course he was born still.

You're both fit. baby and mother. That's all that matters.
Don't even respond to her taunts or show any signs that it affects you.

Humm...this post touch me. I give birth a week ago to my first baby, and CS was never an option I ever dreamt of, but after I had labour for hours,I had to be scanned n it showed my water was insufficient to have a natural birth. The doctors told me CS was my way out. I had to accept to save my life and my baby. Still nursing the cut and pains my mother in law look me in the eyes and insulted me that I was too lazy to push my baby out. She has been telling people and even to my face that I wasted her son's money on CS all because I couldn't push. she said I didn't labour. I am hurt by her words but I pray God have mercy on her.

Just relax. At this stage,they wake up almost every hour to eat. It will start reducing gradually. My son is almost 3months and he wakes up just once to eat unlike the days of 7-8times.

Yes dear,I experienced it during my time,but not to panic,just make sure you reach for any meal that apples to you at any particular time. Fruits especially are lighter,so they can help cover up for your missed meals.

Abegiiii. What you described is normal. Don't medicate her. The frequency will reduce as she grows older. If it's mucusy, reduce your sugar. If it appears green, it means she is not getting enough of the hind milk, and getting just the foremilk....so let her stay longer on each breast, so she can get the richer hindmilk.

Those are the 2 common poo types that breastfed babies get.

The egusi like poo is very normal...infact, doctors are bothered when the baby is still poo-ing the black tar like poop at this age. Babies also poo frequently at this age. With every feed, they poo. It can even be up to 6-7times a day.

So I need not to worry right? Because a friend advice me to get grip water,jawa clox,and multivitamin syrup but as a first timer with no experice I wanna be very careful with what I give her.

Please family,my 6days old baby has been stooling ooo. Every time I breast feed her,after a while she will groan like she's in pain and will stool a kind of egusi mix with palm oil like poo. I was told its normal with new born as their organs are adapting to changes etc. am not just comfortable with the frequent stooling. Is any1 experiencing or have experienced such,pls what is the solution?

MY BIRTH STORY

After I had passed my EDD which was 15april,I was feeling so downhearted and filled with anxiety expecting my baby. To God be the glory,on Sunday 19 April,I started feeling cramps in the morng after mass. I came home and slept after a while,I went to urinate and to clean up I saw a flow of brownish discharge. it wasn't the colour of the usual blood show I have heard of. I wanted to call my doctor but I was afraid he might ask me to come to the hospital. in as much as I wanted my baby,I have a serious phobia for hospitals and I was secretly planing a home delivery. later that day I went to urinate again I saw blood,no mucus just normal blood,I got even scared as the cramps now had a 15 min margin instead of the 30min previously. I called my doctor n he said I should come to the hospital for check up. I arrived the hospital around 7:25pm and I was immediately taken to labour ward,fear got me and I told them I wasn't there for labour that all I came for was check up and to go home. But I was told there is no turning back in labour ward. I didn't know what check up means until the doctor had his two finger going in to check,I screamed and cry I fought like a baby that in the end the doctor couldn't get what he wanted. I pleaded I wanted to go home n lied I wasn't contracting. lol. meanyl the pain was increasing.
all the docs and nurses started pleading with me to be checked but I refused. I was scan,after the scan,result showed my water was very small too small to have the baby move well*surprising * by then I was contracting every 2seconds yet no water break,no blood show. I Later agreed to be checked when I cudnt stand the contraction but after the check up doctor said Inorder to save me and the baby,CS has to be done. I refused again but accepted in no time and it was done successfully to the glory of God by 2:55 am monday morng I delivered a beautiful baby girl. we were discharged yesterday from the hospital and we are both doing so fine. Thanks to all the mamas and papas in the house for your encouragements and advice. Thorpido our able doctor,wow! I bless God for u sir. May God give u more wisdom to excel even more in what u do.

Tnx 4 uq responses bimsusy and vickilafab.i know u guyz r wondering what a sept mama has 2 do wit induction at dis stage,it was a frnd dat was induced since sunday night but labor didnt start till now and just dis mrnng her dh called saying dat d baby is dead in-utero and when we ask did they took d baby out he said no they are waiting for her to deliver by herself.dis angered me as it is d most reliable hospital to me in our state.sorry 4 my long tori just wanted 2 pour it out.
