This thought has been on my mind for so long. I wonder the same. I realize that asking google for solution to one's health problem can be more safer than asking some Nigerian medical practitionals. I have had cases where doctors misled me and it really got me wondering. Most of our medical practitioner have no idea of what they claim to practice! Very few are fully into it,and those few feels so proud of themselves that they would hold unto their ego and watch patients dies in their hands.

Fibroid Has remedy na,it can be operated and life will continue. But why didn't she tell you before the wedding? Plus you should have suspected the abnormal size of her belly na...sincerely I hate the part were she knew and didn't tell u all because she wanna get married.

This this really harsh but I saw it worked wonders for someone. Mix a little caustic soda with palm oil and apply on the affected area. It's painful but very fast.

Pheeeew...it's been quite a while. Nobody asked about me abi, I no vex sha. I was on march list o but my baby said mummy na April I want o.
BIRTH STORY
My baby decided to come on saturday d 11th by 2:35 am (was over due) so on friday I woke up with pains on my left leg,told my midwife who happens to be my neighbour. (Travelled to my parents place to deliver cos hubby isn't around and d hospital I registered isn't far from home n d midwife is their neighbour.) I told her about d leg and she said it's all part of d package. I sleft afterwards n woke up with no pain throughout the day n there was no sign
Of labour till around to 10 pm.I called hubby and asked him to pray and ask God to let it be the real thing cos I had been getting false signs since like 3weeks b4 I put to bed. So he told me to wake my mum but I told him it's too early and am not sure if it's not another false alarm. Around 11pm d pains intensify and I shouted mummy she woke up and started massaging my back even though e no change anything. I poo dat night n vomited all those with pains but the contractions weren't close so I tot i still have time.
I later told my mum to go back to bed dat I will try to also lay down in between contractions, immediately I went to bed my water broke, I called her back and she started calling d midwife, I told her I was feeling d urge to push which was surprising to me, I told me to try n hold on but I no fit. I pushed and d baby came b4 d midwife arrived. Midwife came n finished d rest.
Even though I was really frustrated cos I was over due I thank God everything came so simple I was even amazed myself. Active labour was just about 4-5 hours dat was why we couldn't make it to the hospital.
To those still pushing I pray it shall all end in praise. Those waiting for their miracle, be rest assured it shall come to pass. (Too much long story, make una no vex mbok). I forgot to add that baby is a boy, handsome bobo. Lol

Congrat dear,your story came just in time to uplift my depression. Am feeling so depressed especially this morng. This is my first and am already over due am feeling so downhearted even tho am just a day overdue. I was filled with so much anxiety when I was approaching my DD,now that it has passed and nothing yet,am feeling so depressed.

OMG this topic heeen... I thought I was alone in this act ooo. My own experience,I was asked at the interview to show my skills and like seriously,I was more dumber than the guy in the op's post that was how I failed myself

My hospital is very far from my house ooo,but like u said I case of anything I will start moving. I have been feeling abdominal pains tho especially at night but it's usually on and off.

Do not be scared of induction. Induction itself is not labour and not painful.

Coituus may stimulate labour. If you have had any major complications during this pregnancy, particularly episode of bleeding, you are not advised to have coiitus.

No complications of any kind.

Hope you are not alone in the house.Someone that can move you out should be there in case labour starts.

My dear,with that only God will send my helper ooo,I live with my mother inlaw and the woman no send me at all. My father inlaw who shows little concern said he will be traveling tomorrow and my mother inlaw is always busy with her shop. Even when she's home she doesn't even treat me like am existing.

Pls ensure you get valid answers from the dr, sometimes they do these things for monetary reasons That's really my concern here

I beg you in the name of God, follow your doctors advice. She did not say come for Cs. She said come for induction. All is still natural birth. If they baby is very active like that, I think he wants to come out.
You will be fine. 39 weeks baby is a mature one. Please, submit yourself for the induction, ok? Your next post should be birth story o!

I understand sis,but the very doctor that attended to me is not my regular gynecologist,she only attended to me cuz my doctor was busy. She did not check me up,she didn't check my scan results,she only ask if av been contracting and I explain what I have been feeling since I don't know what labour pain is like and she just said I will have to be admitted if I don't deliver before tuesday and induction will be carried out. Am afraid of being admitted,well I pray my baby even come soonest because I have been feeling a kinda menstrual abdominal pains. I just can't wait

You are actually contracting. Those pains you feel in your abdomen and anus are false labour so you are fine.

Speak to your doctor again, if there are no health concerns with you or your baby and ur water has not broken, tell them you will like to wait for another week and continue taking your walks and other activities. True labour can start anytime from now.

Not sure why they want to induce you when you are not yet 40 weeks. Induction done before 40 weeks is due to health concerns.

That aside, induction is really not a big deal cuz most women go into labour when induced, only in few cases where the induction does not work that C/S would have to be done.

Ultimately, the most important thing is ur health and the baby's. How the baby comes out is less important.

Thanks. Really the baby and I are fine we have never had any health issues or whateva not even family case,my mum even assure me that she labour for max 45 min with no issues. My baby is fully positioned I only wonder y the doc was so fast to talk about admission and induction. My phobia for hospitals has been making restless since yesterday but take to your advice if no show by then but I know God will work it out.

Walk around.Take strolls around your street-walk some distance,back and forth.
Make love.Get together with your hubby everyday from today if you can.Making love releases a hormone called oxytocin which helps to induce labour.Also from time to time,rub your n1pples.You can also get your hubby to suck on them.It stimulates the hormone too.
Don't know about this but they say spicy foods can also stimulate your tummy and encourage labour so you could try that out.
