Logically, if he manages to this, then it's an upgrade. Subsequent presidents will move from bad to good, good to better and better to best. Unlike from bad to rotten by somebody

Why are you guys like this? Just because you don't support someone, does not mean u should criticize that person at any and every opportunity.

The metaphor church rat in the south is as common as the metaphor " if Mohammed don't go to the mountain, the mountain will go to Mohammed" nobody takes offence.

Similarly in the south especially SW, sexing a girl with a big ass can be illustrated with climbing mount Arafat, which is a holy ground in Islam. So what's the fuss here?

maestroferddi:
What silly clarification?!

We are not concerned with what Tinubu was trying to say...The crux of the matter is that it was utterly distasteful and unacceptable for Tinubu to use the holy communion metaphorically in the manner he did.

Just imagine if Peter Obi uses an Islamic practice or concept negatively in a careless attempt to make a point....

Reuben Abati is by no means a go-to person in propriety and definitive wisdom....

Are the world leaders you refer to from poor African countries? You support tinubu or any other candidate should not limit your comprehension ability. When obi used VAR to illustrate atikus situation with obj, you guys hailed him. Now tinubu used the church rat saying, which is very Common amongst Nigerians to illustrate the climate change situation in Nigeria and west Africa in general but no, this is difficult to comprehend because it's coming from tinubu you guys hate so much. Can't you guys just support and mobilise for your candidates in peace?

DaddyFreeze2020:

You're trying to justify a statement which isn't justifiable.
Why use a church rat to explain climate change. Have you heard any World leader at the UN using such. Even if a foreigner listens to that statement, you will sound like an imbecil.e.

What about Ondo and Ekiti state in South West?

Kennydoc:

No SE state has up to 10% Muslim population. Anambra probably has less than 0.5% if at all they exist. On what basis should there be a Muslim deputy governor? Have you heard Christians agitating for a Christian deputy in Borno, Kano, Jigawa etc?
Nigeria on the other hand has almost equal Christian and Muslim population, so on what basis should you have Muslim President and VP?

Nigerians loves fanfare so much that we neglect reality and history. We don't ever learn, same fanfare with sowore's "take it back" movement, same town hall meetings, not much of a difference.

My verdict;

Though obi will definitely get way more votes than sowore got, it won't still be enough to make him the winner

Obi will definitely act a spoiler to one if the two major political parties. Which party exactly? I don't know

MadamVanessa:
shocked

With what I have seen so far, nothing can stop Obi not to be elected, not even billions of Agbado and cassava munching BATstards.

The love is massive, the love is overwhelming, Obi is blessed, Obi is loved all over the country unlike some people who uses stolen loots to get fake love.

These handsome and beautiful people came out with no inducement, they came out because of the massive love they all have for Obi.

Don't forget, this is Gandollar state , an unapologetic Tinubu asslicker , don't forget also that this is Kwankwaso state, but we still have this massive number.

Obi is here to STAY!

Politics / Re: Facebook Users Criticize Fayemi For Referring To Tinubu As "Other Nigerians" by K0y3: 9:33am On Jan 11, 2022
Tinubu actually did not support fayemi for his 2nd term ambition when he lost to fayose. There was a report that categorically stated that tinubu was against the idea cus he felt fayemi was never as popular as fayose even has the incumbent gov then. This seems to have been the beginning of the bad blood between them.

Odidigboigbo:
But Fayemi still have the support of Tunubu when he lost his second term bid to Fayose in 2014, why is it that Tunubu was unable to delivered him then?

From your submission, then Muslims from the south should never contest for President likewise Christians from the north?

PresidentAtiku:
If the principle of rotational presidency means power should shift to the south, then power should also shift to a Christian.

Buhari has done 8 years for the Muslims.

In the spirit of fairness, it is time for a Southern Christian. Tinubu had this ambition to become Buhari's vice in 2015 but it was obvious the Muslim-Muslim ticket won't fly.

Now he wants to achieve that same ambition to the detriment of Christians. It is unfair and he must be stopped.

Christian Association of Nigeria will soon comment on this.

It's not young, must have been a lion with some form of dental injuries, hence the reason it's mane is not well developed or pronounced. When lions have dental injuries, they can't hunt animals with thick hides so they result to weaker preys like humans and domestic animals. There by becoming man eaters

Politics / Re: Akin Alabi: Why My Health Centre Project In Ibadan Is ‘Too Small’ by K0y3: 2:57pm On Dec 24, 2020
Most people can't differentiate the functions of the level of government. Reason I advise folks to read more bout Nigeria, the constitution and government functions before voting in a candidate and subsequently criticizing the candidates shortcomings after being elected.

Alabi is a federal law maker not a federal minister, federal agency or board chairman. Like every federal law maker (HoR and Senator) they are entitled to facilitate at least one federal project to his constituency in his 4 years tenure. This is one of the many reasons the budget goes through the rep and senate before being signed. Rehabilitations, renovations, new constructions etc are communicated in the budget yearly. The members are expected to facilitate at least one to his or her constituency, this is actually one of the reasons they do exist in the first place. Now the members are ranked. A first timer is ranked lower than a two timer, likewise a two timer ranked lower than three timer and so on. The higher the rank, the bigger the project the member can facilitate to the his constituency. Reason you might come across posters reading vote Mr k as a ranking senator etc.

In the case of alabi, he is a first timer and this probably is the highest project he could facilitate to his constituency.

The rehabilitation of basic health care centers across the nation was included in the budget as part of the funding for the ministry of health. Obviously the money provided for this in the budget can't rehabilitate all the health care centers in Nigeria, some will be chosen others will be left out.

I guess Alabi was excited he could facilitate that of his constituency to be among those that were chosen, hence the proud post.

As for the contractor being from Abuja, he probably would have tendered for the contract to the agency in charge which Alabi rightly stated and won the contract. Don't be surprised a company based in osogbo will bid and tender to the agency in charge and be given that of sokoto to rehabilitate.

Politics / Re: Akin Alabi: Why My Health Centre Project In Ibadan Is ‘Too Small’ by K0y3: 2:26pm On Dec 24, 2020
He did not renovate it, the federal government did. He only influenced this particular health care center in his constituency to be amongst the ones to be renovated by virtue of being a member HoR. There are several basic health centers currently being rehabilitated across the nation.

paulolee:
not a valid excuse coming from a him, I expect more than this because even if he wants to renovate the old center, he can still expand and build a bigger one because the land have enough space..
so this is what he have to give ibadan even after all the money him don chop from youths via nairabet..
I wonder if he can have the balls to come up with this kinda joke assuming we are in election year and he is seeking for votes....iranu..
Politics / Re: Akin Alabi: Why My Health Centre Project In Ibadan Is ‘Too Small’ by K0y3: 2:21pm On Dec 24, 2020
You're wrong, you don't know how these things work.
He can't and won't get a dime from it. It's not his project, it's a federal government project. he only facilitated this to his constituency by virtue of being the member representing the region which falls under his constituent. Several rehabilitation like these are ongoing all over the nation.

2) My left ear(tru to the inside) is paining me

Politics / Re: If You Were President, What Sector Would You Focus On To Kickstart Development? by K0y3: 8:32pm On May 21, 2020
Production of durable and cheap steel is very important for an industrialization drive. A nation can't keep importing steel and expect to build/develop industries, be it manufacturing, processing, storage, construction, housing, movie, fashion, entertainment etc heavy machineries are made out of steel down to the lightest cameras, mobile phones, cooking/ kitchen utensils etc

I totally agree with you on the human capacity development but is this not the reason why we go to school( university, polytechnic etc) or learn a skill( tailoring, welding, carpentry, mechanics, photography, filming etc)? But still no job, and when there is no opportunity, you can not showcase your talent or create a content.

I still insist, fix power ( solar, wind, gas, hydro, in which ever preference or order) and produce your own steel as a nation. Then watch how every other thing will fall into place.

Detour00:
Power and human capacity development. With power, emphasis will be on energy mix( solar, wind, gas, hydro etc)
Politics / Re: If You Were President, What Sector Would You Focus On To Kickstart Development? by K0y3: 7:37pm On May 21, 2020
Power and steel. A nation can not successfully embark on massive industrialization, construction and production process without these 2 factors. After which every other things will fall in place.

Norahsthought:
Having been exposed to not so classified but not exactly public information regarding certain aspects of the Nigerian Government, I have found that it is much more complex to solve Nigeria's problems that the masses know.

Usually, I hear people talk about ideas on exactly what the government should focus on and how the government has a approached a matter wrongly. Even though sometimes true, most times, it's completely wrong. Nigerians don't know how tough it is to solve problems in Nigeria and usually we jump into conclusions without a full context of what the problem is. E.g Abacha's looting. Buba Galadima was a member of the Board of Trustees, National Party of Nigeria (NPN) in 1978, and Abacha's boy. He said Abacha followed the advice of other African Presidents by stashing money against impending sanctions by the US. I know this doesn't sound rational but this could highly be the truth, but we prefer the idea of distributing our government.

So here's my question, if you were Nigeria's President, what sector would you focus on first to kickstart development in Nigeria? Please a little explanation about your answer would suffice.

Politics / Re: COVID-19: Ganduje Rejects Kwankwaso’s Amana Hospital As Isolation Center by K0y3: 4:07pm On May 01, 2020
You guys should calm down both gadunje and kwakwanso are playing politics. If not, why will kwakwanso donate the hospital via his kwakwansiya movement and PDP? This is politically motivated and gadunje did well by rejecting it( played politics too) cause it's a Greek gift.

Now if kwakwanso had donated it in his own capacity, just in his name and gadunje had rejected. Then your comment would have been highly valid because to some extent it's still valid.

My point is this, had kwakwanso made the donation in his capacity like dangote and the rest did with their names, then it probably might not have been rejected.

To come to think of it, if dangote, rabiu, adeleke, otedola etc had made the donations with their companies name. Would it be regarded as a personal donation? No! Instead it will be a cooperate donation.
Little wonder the GTB guy made donations in his own capacity and that of the bank too.

I understand you quite well but you don't seem to understand me. I never said you should have random sex with men, it's not even proper.

Yes, most parent groom their kids to be uptight and upright, truth is every parent should. There is a saying in Yoruba I quote " awon obi mii won bi mi da emi gan gan mo tun arami bi" meaning my parents thought me well and I thought myself too.

Our parents teaching is only to guide us, it's the basics and foundation that we need to build our character on. It is your character that defines you and if it fails you, you fall back on your foundation and build another.

Flirting at the right time, is not a bad thing as long as you are descplined, this is where our parents teaching comes to play. You should know this by now, no parent will teach you how to get a man but yet they expect you to bring a man. Reason is they are satisfied with all the teachings they have given you and are expectant of you. To whom much is given, much is expected. Only you can figure that out all by yourself my dear, not your siblings, not your friends, only you. When you discover yourself, people around you can only point out what they presume to be a mistake and which might not necessarily be.

Back to the matter, FLIRT! I meant you should socialize more with the opposite sex, you don't have to wait for a guy to start a conversation first, you can by asking a simple question and if he is interested in you the man in will come out. This single act would have made him noticed you if he hadn't earlier. Also you need to be attractive, dress clean and nice not necessarily like a LovePeddler, even if you do and truly you are not one, he will get to figure out that with time. You need to be interesting some little knowledge of sports, politics, current affairs, businesses/finance, just general knowledge of life. All I'm trying to say is this, flirt but don't be a LovePeddler or a bimbo. Respect men and demand to be respected back, if you don't pass your boundary men will always respect you no doubt about that. Just create a class of vibes for yourself and don't forget to always smile. Cheers
